Cyberpunk 2077 will still be getting updates in 2077
I mean just a month ago they released an update for Witcher 1 and 2. Updates are good. The only gonk thing about this is that there was no prior announcement and everyone, specifically the people who play with mods, were blindsided.
@@beige_projectionfacts I installed all my mods again like a week ago and though maybe they are finally done for a while. The games been running smooth and they shouldn’t have to update of for quite a bit…. NOPE. I was wrong. Reinstalling the game now lol 😂 butter sweet. This game is totally different from when it first released.
If only Bethesda could put as much effort for their game updates like CD Project does.

I was hoping they would show more cyber ware detail on your character the more you get similar to how David was leveling up in the anime with sub dermal armor being visible but with every external component
My problem right now is I can't choose Jaw 9 and mouth 11 when creating character. I can use Jaw 9 as long as the mouth is not 11, and I can use Mouth 11 as long as it's not Jaw 9. Weird that t's 9-11 combination that crashes my game.
Pretty funny tbh. Don't think it's a feature but could've been a thing. Like in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Where you're banned if trying to replicate 9-11

Oddly enough I didn't have this issue with my razor mouse. Still, I'm genuinely irritated that I have to wait for the mods I just downloaded to catch up again, hopefully this is the last one altogether.

I'm not sure if it's this patch, but it broke some of my key binds. It unbound my key binds for movement using arrows. I can no longer set primary movement to the arrows and have secondary movement to the WASD., or vice versa. It's either or. But you can't leave secondary keys blank, so I have to set secondaries to odd keys that aren't used anywhere else.
I'll share this on Steam...mods are already being updated. I don't use a Razer mouse, so I just disabled my Modder's Resources mods and the game is back in action for me.
With this new small patch, has anybody else had an issue when loading saves later on the game where your character dies the minute the save is loaded?
I’m am so happy they fixed this. I have been affected thanks to my razor mouse, but I had no idea what was causing it. I’ve just not played the game since the bug appeared.
Still getting crashes when I load a save, checkpoint, or quitting to main menu.
just installed the update now my game crashes on the loading screen. Didn't do this before the hotfix.

Well, you could have been playing, just don't assign actions to the mouse keys, or use another type of mouse.
They said they’d fixed the infinite save glitch on Xbox but it’s still just as bad especially in the end game
I was going to buy the game, but there's no chance as long as there's the same problem with the saves.
I hope they fix Cyberware capacity shards. Watched a video some time ago, where it was said that they could be missed if not picked up. And since there is now a fixed number of them, thats pretty bad
Dude I haven't played cyberpunk in a couple months at this point because my game kept crashing and I was really devastated since I had no idea why, but now that I've watched this video I know I have my razer mouse to thank :( Hopefully my game works now, I'll be trying again tomorrow!
Game devs should finish their major updates then make mods for small things on an official page.

Huh, I am also experiencing crashes on xbox, I got three crashes today when fighting maxtac, usually happens during jumping then air dashes.
I come back to CP, if they add official 3rd person outta combat.
I'd come back to CDPR if the add 3rd person. Something they actually did well.

On Xbox X, during Phantom Liberty, I get a lot of crashes shortly after jumping in a vehicle.
My biggest issue is that after the introduction of "performance cores" optimisation setting game became very unstable. 2.12 fixed it a bit, but it is still way worse than it was before 2.11. I never saw the update that broke the game performance so badly.
Aside from EquipmentEX which isn't technically a core mod, all core mods either work or were already updated.
Infrequent reminder that frame generation tech does not increase performance.
It increases motion fluidity at the cost of higher input latency and inconsistent visuals as a result of generated frames.
ah the whims of game development (and coding in general). something completely unrelated to your software breaks your software cause...reasons.

I was having random crashing that was confirmed to be related to my Razer Basilisk. Not very often, but a hard crash every now and again when using M4 as my hand brake. My sniper button was also crashing the game if I bumped it accidentally. Sucks that it updated while I was playing. Crashed me pretty hard.
What? How can it update while you're playing the game? Most likely you just crashed and the scheduled update started when it detected that you were no longer playing the game.
@@2hotflavored666 No, it was while I was in-game. I am a professional QA/Beta tester. I checked my logs and it was just a small update. It happened while I was playing, for sure. Not anything to argue about, just a fun CP2007 glitch story.

I don't have any key binding and nor a Razer mouse and it was crashing the same. 💩
These patches - for the most part - are also putting in features that no one really needed. Not this one, of course, but annoyances like the radio port. I've now resorted to turning my Radio Volume down to 0 just to stop that "issue". Crystal Coat (spelling?) is one that I've no intention of using. Things like that.

Been hoping for Dogtown optimization more than anything but every update has made the performance worse. Now 2.12 gives me stutters around Heavy Hearts area.
AH That explains why I couldn’t open my game today! I uninstalled and am currently reinstalling- does this mean (I was heavily modded, maybe 200 mods) I have to wait until the authors updated their mods? Oh boy

Well, I got bad news for you. If we are lucky, they will continue to fix bugs. Even Witcher 1 and 2 are still getting fixes.
Still waiting on that Pay Day 3 update video.
They should do this updating like 7D2D does.. give us the option of what version we play .. I spend more time modding than I do playing..

i only had one crash that's it but that was long ago.
I have a Razer mouse and it took me a while to pinpoint the issue to it being the mouse because my game would crash out of the blue without triggering a crash report.
My workaround was to simply uninstall Synapse. The crash was being caused by the software, not the mouse.
I now use X-mouse Button Control and OpenRGB and never had a single issue since.
Reality is Synapse was causing issues with many other apps, not just Cyberpunk. It caused Assassin's Creed Valhalla to freeze in hybrid controls mode... COD WWII would stutter with the Razer mouse plugged in and work flawlessly with a Trust mouse... It even interfered with Microsoft Edge while working online with Adobe Creative Cloud - the mouse would randomly exhibit odd behaviour when selecting assets or copy/pasting images.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe Synapse is just bloatware.

I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't a fun prevention fix. There has to be more things they can nerf to suck the fun out of the game right?

Happened to me today , tryma play , got my pc turned on as normal and then poom update , I updated and then all of a sudden my cyberpunk had issues with mod stability , had to te install the game like 3 times
Basically i performed a clean install and installed myself the dependencies for some mods like CET , Ref4ext , archivexl , etc and it worked for me
It is a shame that when an update like this that is so specific as to what it is focusing on that it has to break all mods and we have to go through and reload them. :(
And sonic shock still needs to be returned to 2.0
it doesn't sit right with me every time you talk about FSR3/DLSS3 Frame generation you say "free fps", i'd like if you could clarify that you need a base of atleast 50-60 fps to not suffer from massive input latency. Feels a bit deceiveing, specially for people with lower end cards would be important for them to know.
Hasn't been an issue for me. Before I got PL I was running fsr3fg at RT Ultra settings which meant I had a base of 25-30 frames and the latency was almost unnoticeable. It seems to be dependent on various factors.
Edit: PL dropped my fps by 30% so I was forced to disable RT
@@Ignatiusussydo you play on controller? also there is people who might not notice it much (used to 30 fps or console) but it's still there and other people might have a lesser tolerance to it. my point is that it should be stated as a warning that your mileage may vary using it and you shouldn't rely solely as a crutch for weak hardware.

@@CorvusCorvidayi am not speaking for myself but as a PSA for everyone, it's factual that the input latency goes up when using frame gen and wired or wireless doens't matter when it's under the FPS threshhold.

They need to fix the crystal coat bug and then move on to making the next Witcher and Cyberpunk games. Content is solid now.
It's funny that you assume they have all their employees working on Cyberpunk.
It's mostly a team of 5 dudes doing fixes. Most of the employees have been working on a new project ever since the game launched.

Isn't this "never ending hotfix cycle" a big part of why we aren't getting another big DLC and also why they are moving to Unreal Engine? I think I remember hearing somewhere one of the CDPR devs talking about how this is an issue with the Red Engine, where changes always break things in unusual an unpredictable ways. It's unfortunate, because what this engine could do (when it works) is pretty impressive.
No to you first question. It doesn't take the whole development team to fix bugs, just a handful of software techs. I don't think there will be another DLC. I saw another video that said CP2077 2: Orion is now in conceptual stages with teams in NA and Poland starting to work on that.
i am tired of the updates.. two days ago I reinstalled and set up all the mods I use and today.. stupid update wrecked it all again.. I could not stop the update via steam.. ugh..
I still wish so badly that Cyberpunk 2077 would’ve gotten New Game+ instead of the entire redo of the perk tree. 😢

I finished this game so many times now, with all different endings, i think im close to doing my final offical run of the game soon i found the mods i wanna use, the route im gonna take with the decisions in some quests i'll do. it will be the perfect run for me :)
Welp, so much for that. I literally just started the game again yesterday (for the first time since Phantom Liberty came out) and not even a day later they broke my mods again...and I was waiting specifically to not run into that issue.

cyberpunk 2077 is now a test bed for future features of the orion game, namely path tracing implementation and driving just got better.
Never understood why they did not add a 3rd person for this game.
They didn't and still don't want to do it. Cyberpunk 2077 is meant to be played in first person. It's an immersive sim. They want you to feel like YOU're V. In third person it's not the same feeling. You're not drinking with someone. In third person you're just watching your character drinking with NPC. It doesn't feel immersive. But yeah third person would be cool for screenshot and different perspective I agree !

@neyth1942 I can see where you’re coming from n have heard this before but unfortunately it isn’t immersive, it’s immersive when you can see the character you created and spent time doing stuff with. It makes the character customization pointless and shallow to use. you still go in third person mode when driving too so it doesn’t make sense. N unless ur into modeling ur characters in photo mode it’s still pretty wack. Coming from someone who has loved cp since before release n upgraded my pc just to play it

Ah mann just got my mod list functioning like I wanted.. thought I had a litte bit more time before the next update.. but oh well at least CDPR is on it trying to fix issues.

Being someone who doesn't use a Razer mouse, this update broke my game for no purpose lol. Ended up going to steamdb and snagging the 2.12 version from 3 weeks ago, problem solved. Remember to turn off auto-updates!

Still on 2.1 with the mask glitch that lets u farm money. Havent updated and will never update. Well atleast till im done with the exploits. Cdpr can suck it.

Good thing i use a old school trackball helps with getting headshots and is just alot more fun to use i can spin. Also game devs take notes from CDPR they listen and we love them for it bethesda please take notes your games are great dont want you to end up like..volition or any other dev that died cause they didnt listen to the fans or was forced to listen to some corporats that dont know what they are doing

My only gripe is that they didn't notify us first. Many of us plan out our days to play this game and this is such a surprise update that broke mods. CP77 has entered the top 5 in Nexusmods for most mod downloads, so evidently, there are so many players out there who use mods. So an announcement that a patch will be dropping would have been really nice instead of it coming out of nowhere. I literally had already planned out my night to play this game but when I got home, the patch just dropped.

@@Purone4050 did you watch the video? he said it was BECAUSE of the side buttons. and literally said the workaround was the unbind the key from the mouse side buttons.....
