Definitely. You cant consider yourself the goat or in that conversation if you cant at least do what the first wave of goats did. I personally believe theres no one goat. My point being Hip Hop is his drug. Unlike other mcees we hold high hes the one who constantly stays in rap. No knock ok them either. Theyre older and enjoying life. Rap isn’t everything they are but to em it is. He has the luxury of being someone whos a student of Hip Hop and is constantly applying it. If you look at revival, kamikaze then both sides of MTBMB, you see he took the craft to heart even more. Its like he sat and studied kane, rakim, ll cool j, etc for hours to formulate his attack plan.

This why I don't agree with those that say Em is a guest in the house of hip hop even though he kinda agreed with that I think he said that to keep the peace. As deep as he is into the art there's no way imo that he agrees with the term guest in the house of hip hop. He one of the only mcs at that level that still humbles himself to the architects of the art. Anyone that puts as much as he does into making his music really mean something with every bar and damn near every word is not a damn guest. I feel he created another lane weather it be bonkers or not he created it and it blew. That's his. But still the guy pays homage. That's real and one who deserves a rightful throne in hip hop. I didn't say THE throne but def A throne 💪🏾💪🏾

Seriously!Kane is being incredibly humble in this interview!Kane was a triple threat MC from 87 to 89 hands down!He had an assassin flow that just hypnotized the listeners!Kane has many classic sungles plus collabs but just one of my all time favoritee tracks still till this very yr 2024 is WRATH OF KANE! From beginning to end ot was lights out for any Mceeee that wanted smoke at that time!Or from 87 and 88!Raw the single that Kane dropped in 87 literally showcased how to rhyme syllabillistic word schemes to perfection at that time in hip hop history mind you there was the cream of the crop when it came to lyricists like Rakim, krsOne,Kool g RAP,PUBLIC ENEMY (chuck d)Ll cool j was a bonafide superstar after the bad album so like Snoop Dogg Ll was in his own lane cause he did the hardcore rap tracks plus love songs for the ladies and was versatile in many styles which is why he lasted longer than many of his peers Krs One as well but as far as star power Ll conquered all of his peers and the $$$ bag as well💯Kane on the other hand was considered by many from 87 to 89 to be the epitome of rap battle and rhyme structure multisylabilistic wittiness wordplay plus punch line perfection!Kane was literally killing everyone fashion wise pimp style with the trunk jewelry gucci link chains plus four fingered rings that others started copying and put their own flava to it like Ll cool j just look at tge pics how Kane influenced many mcs to even get flat top high fades with three cuts in the eyebrows Kanes influence at that time was unparalleled the only MC to earn more $$$ than Kane from 87 to 89 was Ll Cool J thats how deep Kanes influence and power was at that time from 87 to 89.Kane imo feel off cause he went too commercial playing the ladies man instead of continuing his craft and excelling it to new heights he was thinking about selling platinum status instead of Gold he wanted more commercial success he had the streets at the time on lock but the taste of chocolate was a big dissappointment to his hardcorre fans including myself at the time he was losing his swag the beginning of the 90s moving foward but always will remain one of tge greatest to ever bless a mic hands down.Kanes style like oding on heroin and tgen you needed another hit immediately after from 87 to 89 notice I mention those yrs cause Kane was a problem FR FR.Had Kane acquired a nusiness acumen in branding clothes and jewelry and did what Jay and Dame did with Rocafella he would of been a multi gazzillionaire at tge time of his reign no ands ifs or buts about it Rakim at the time as well💯I miss those days cause hip hop was truly HIP HOP and every artist had their OWN UNIQUE STYLE IN RHYMING TECHNIQUES not the majority trash that is imo more like pop hop in todays generation 💯80s is the Golden Era of hip hop and 90s took it to different dimensions while still maintaining ORIGINALITY which for the most part does not exist in todays hip hop tgeres only a few keeping it alive like J Cole and a few others but at the end of tge day I got to give flowers to Kane for being one of the greats that made other mceees step their game up lyrically as well as Rakim who actually was the first with paid in full album Kool g Rap Krs One Slick Rick and others of the 80s had a large influence on ALL YOUR FAVORITE MCEEES from the the 90s till now!The problem with today is the lack of putting difficult rhyme play into lyrics and being original having your own swag and not following a trend until that changes the majority of hip hop will remain trash for the most part and there will only be a few to keep the torch shining💯LONG LIVE THE KANE! KING ASIATIC NOBODYS EQUAL FOREVER💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
