Would appreciate it if Goodman Games would add Pathfinder 2E editions as they make these books of the old school material.

Pick whichever system is closer to your players' expected HP and you're good. Your DMG should also have trap damage guidelines.

I don't wanna kill my players but screw with them. Like I came up with this thing that trolled them so hard. Wrote on my notes "the mewing potion". It's just a potion in a room, they make an arcana check to notice it's a magical potion that provides +1d100 to constitution or charisma (their choice) that's so good in itself anyone would just go for it. Their brain shuts down at the goodies. Perception check to notice the sting when you go to pull it that releases a fire-spray upon the party dealing 1d20 charisma drain on everyone that fails a charisma save. (I figure burn scars over just deadly) which the potion can more than make up for. ...For one person. Technically I could do this under any system. I grew up on 3rd edition so changing it to a reflex save would be more inline with the fire jets but not the cha drain (though there was more drain effects in third as a whole), in AD&D I'd have to look at those damn tables and kinda just guess what I'd think be appropriate. wand save probably as it is a mechanism.
