I have the OG model, have been using it for about 4 years and 1500 bags later have had 0 issues with it. My standard setting are 20-25 second of vacuum and 3 second seal time. I used to vacuum longer but i found the sealer reaches maximum vacuum by about 20 seconds no matter how big the bag is. I have also found if sealing a bunch of bags in rapid succession, i need to reduce the seal time to 2 seconds after 20 ish bags. The seal bar does hold onto heat and will eventually start burning holes through the seal if I don't reduce the time.

The marinade function I use to degass sausage meat before I put it in my stuffer! Really helps to eliminate the majority of the air trapped in the meat while mixing.

I just recently picked up the one in the middle it’s my first chamber vac …I’m very impressed with it so far ……unlike my previous sealer …a regular old food saver I’ve had for 15 years or so . Once in a while with the the old sealer I would take something from the freezer that had been in there for a while to defrost and notice the bag was a little loose (after defrosting) like a small amount of air got inside prior to freezing or when it defrosted. I’m thinking this chamber vac will eliminate that problem once and for all . 👍

Yup, I've taken out food over a year old and it's perfect. I also inspect the seal to make sure it's sealed good.

I have the same one as the one in the middle, except in oil-less branded by under a different name. Mine has been going strong for about 7 years now.

Awesome video! Thank you! I've been wanting a vacuum sealer that can seal a brisket! I've had a hard time researching this, so this video is perfect!

I'm pretty sure my wife would have some choice words with me if I came home with another gadget but I really want a vacuum sealer. I have a nice vacuum sealer now and it gets the job done but the bags are expensive and sometimes the seal isn't what it should be. Great review of these. Thanks!

Joe, great video, I have the original (Oil) Chamber vac and its very nice for doing a bunch of packing like sausage, ribs (cut in half) and any job, but I always wished I had one that could do a whole brisket. What size brisket did you do in the video, and what is the cutoff for size of a brisket? Have you tried a full rack of ribs in the big boy?

Apart from being able to seal bigger items, why opt for the oil chamber vac vs the oil-less if they both are able to pull the same amount of air out?

I'm a ARY VacMaster VP215 owner and I've been absolutely amazed by it. I've had it for almost 4 years now and use it weekly without an issue. If you are looking at chamber sealers I think it should definitely be on your shortlist.

How does the manufacturer suggest you store the vacuum units? I have small kitchen off my shop that I use for prepping meat to bbq etc. Temps in summers are on the 90’s and freezing in the winter. I can heat in the winter but can’t run AC 24/7 in the summer

Your timing is perfect. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a chamber vac. Unfortunately these are a little out of my range. Probably going with Avid Armor Ultra Series USVX. I wanted the VEVOR Chamber Vacuum Sealer DZ-260C but its too big and heavy for my space. The WEVAC CV12 Chamber Vacuum Sealer (12 inch) is also a possibility. Anyone got any feedback on these would be appreciated.

I would purchase the oil less chamber vac. Is small, light weight and it has some really cool features. They'll go on sale soon. 👍

Just an FYI. I bought the Vevor 260c. After 6 months (1 year warranty) it died on me mid cycle. Had to remove the top lid to get the food out. After doing that a part on the machine just fell off. I sent pics to company and they sent that part for ME to have replaced at my expense. Machine still dead. I let them know and they offered me $105 instead of replacing the $375 machine. I told them to pound salt and they then offered me $210 and I could keep the dead machine and suggested I find a local technician. Nope. Now they said I am getting a new machine but have provided no further info. All dealings with the company are through China and even the part was sent from there which took 2 weeks. Please be careful dealing with this company..... just a heads up.

I ended up going with the avid armor SVX. Absolutely love. It only had it for two months but I have used it a lot. Unfortunately for me they just came out with a slightly sleeker and smaller unit for $200 cheaper which I would’ve went with, but I have no complaints

Bought the Vevor. It died in 6 months while under warranty. Tried to get it replaced and they sent me a part from China for ME to install. Still didn't work. They offered me $105 as a refund instead of the $375 I paid. Refused and then they offered me $210 and keep the dead machine. Refused that and they said they are sending me a new machine. That has been going on almost a month and still no machine. Be careful dealing with Vevor.
