I’m so glad you posted this! I have Hindash Carve and was trying to decide between the two Violette shades (I didn’t want something too similar but still neutral)!
Nice to see this review! Thank you! I also ordered the Byredo Remembrance palette. I did not buy the previous two larger palettes, but this one really speaks to me. Really enjoyed the reviews by Cheri Voyage and. Alicia Archer. I think this colour story is special, with the rosy browns, cool silvers and golds. I am really looking forward to having this palette by Lucia Pika. The mid tone neutrals look very, very user-friendly. Can't wait! And I love Selfridges for shipping to Canada!
Hi Janet! I feel exactly the same way you do. I do not have the two previous big palettes, so I am excited to try this formula. It's such a wearable colour story. Cheri and Alicia's videos definitely pushed me over the edge to get it. Let me know how you end up liking it!
Beautiful final look and congratulations on the wonderful products you got from Surratt! I haven’t tried anything from the brand, but their products look so lovely. Thank you for sharing, hope you’re well!💕 Oh, and I can’t wait to see your review of the Byredo palette! 🥰
Thank you, Natalia! Always love seeing your name pop up here. 🥰 The Byredo palette should be delivered in the next few days. I can't wait to let you know my full thoughts! ❤
🎉🎉 Congratulations on the Surratt PR!! Someone saw how much you love their blushes 🥰❤️ And I know who you are & adore you!! You are one of my favorite YTuber ...because we are luxury beauty sisters (addicts) 💕💖 Yeah that sale got me but I really had to replace a lot of skin care this time. I only bought one lipstick, one blush & one lip oil. Not one single eyeshadow palette...not one!! 🤣
Ah! 🥰 Thank you! So glad that you are here. It makes every video worth it! Definitely luxury beauty addicts and sisters! Which skincare did you buy? I've been trying different brands lately and am really enjoying a minimized routine. 💕 One lipstick, blush, and lip oil is a job well done! And to not buy any eyeshadow, wow! I did cave to the Byredo, so I hope it lives up to the idea of it I have in my mind! 😂
@@bornblushing I use Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads...Cheri Voyage had a entire video dedicated to peel pads and now in addicted to them. I'm on my third box now. I also got his LED light eye mask. I just received my package yesterday so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I had to replace some Tatcha...I use Exuviance night cream & eye cream but it is only sold at Ulta (or on the Exuviance website) not at Sephora
@@pinksparkle258 Oooh, I love peel pads too! My favourite ones are the Active Peel by iS Clinical. I've heard Tatcha is amazing but have never tried the line! I've come close to purchasing their Overnight Cream many times! 💕
@@bornblushing I had that Indigo night cream in my cart but I really love my Exuviance. Maybe I'll buy a sample size just to try it. I really, really wanted their trunk case set that was on their website but it is $1200 USD...😮 I love the Dewy Cream & spray mist 💜💜
Catching up on your videos and loved hearing all of your updates! How fun to get Surratt PR! 😍I can't believe the parallels in our lives sometimes haha 2 weeks ago gave my daughter a haircut and was so chuffed with myself I decided to give myself a haircut last week! Yours looks amazing and I have to say, nobody wears a red lip like you 💋
Hi Cheyanna! I was thinking of you recently and wondering how you are doing. So nice to see your name pop up. 💕 So funny how many similarities we have! I am very into cutting my hair myself now and have gone back in with the scissors for some more shaping and trimming. I love having total control over it. I love the shade of the Rose Diamante highlighter as well! It's such a fresh and feminine shade for a highlight and somehow looks quite natural. Thank you so much for your kindness and for watching! 😘
This was quite a useful review for me since I‘ve become interested in liquid shadows - the Yeux Paints and the Hindash Colour Fluids have been on my list for a while. Since long wear is a priority for me, it looks like the Hindash is off the list. The new Byredo palette looks beautiful so I understand why you were tempted by it. It will be fun to hear your thoughts about it! I still haven’t bought any “fun” make-up since I’m still in the midst of editing my collection, but there have been a lot of tempting items. Luckily the Sephora sale isn’t all that tempting for me since I’m not rouge. Your hair looks gorgeous! I can’t believe you cut it yourself! I’d love to see how you do it at some point.
I'm so happy that it was useful for you! I am quite excited to receive the palette, but I do wish I had your restraint! I'm excited to see how your beauty collection develops this year since you have such amazing control and are now so aware of what you love. Thank you! I do wish I had filmed it, but the setup in my bathroom just looked like a disaster. 😂 Next time I cut it, I will make sure to make a video of it now that I've had one successful attempt under my belt. It did feel good to save the money and time I would have normally spent on getting it done by a hairstylist! And in another way I also preferred it because I felt like I had more control over the whole process rather than being reverse catfished by whoever is cutting my hair.
@@bornblushing I am just so amazed that anyone is able to cut their own hair. and you did it so well! It looks piece-y, has movement, falls beautifully - I have a feeling any hairdresser would be proud! So if you ever have a chance to film it, I'll be there with popcorn, taking notes! ;-) As for restraint vs. buying: I feel like there are seasons for everything. I just happen to be living through a more inward-looking period. But now that I've realized there is a time for newness and a time for quiet curation, it's the first time I've ever been able to celebrate other beauty lovers' new discoveries without being tempted to go on a shopping spree myself. But wow, do I have a LONG wishlist to work through at some point (including some Surratt goodies!)! 😂
@@TheStyleStumbler That's such an insightful observation. I need to remind myself of that whenever I feel huge temptations. I am curious to see what you decide to invest in first when you feel you're in a season of slowly curating things. I'll definitely make sure to film the process of cutting my hair next time! However, it may be a bit like my liquid eyeliner situation where I experience stage fright on camera. 😂
I have been eyeing the color fluids by hindash! Now I am debating doing another violette order. Also I have the call me peaches lipstick by hindash and it’s amazing. It’s matte but it’s a perfect spring color. And lastly….. that brown surratt shadow wowww
Violette's eye paints are the best! I am still surprised at how similar it looks on the eye to Hindash's one in Carve. Oh well! I thought of you when I first saw that Surratt eyeshadow! It's the perfect shimmery taupe. Gorgeous!
YAY to Surratt PR 🤩.. i love seeing more of their products demo’d. 🥰 And tysm for sharing swatches of Violette Fr with Hindash. 🥹 Eventually I’d like to try both formulas. I think I will like the watercolor quality of Hindash but some fun colors with Violette would be great too. I had a Kosas gel eye paint that I panned (the original formula) so it’s time to find a new version and play with matte formulas too. Carve and that lippie were my exact wishlist tho so this review was extra helpful. 😂 I still think I’d love that lippie but may wait til the Fall Beautylish sale to grab it along with the fluid eye paints. That or get 1 eye paint to start. Sending a delayed comment now that I have more time, but will likely rewatch this when I can look more closely at each product! That’s so funny the two eye paints looked similar on your eyes. I can definitely see a difference on your hand! 🤔
Surratt is such an amazing brand! I'm glad they're receiving more attention now. I'm curious to see what you end up getting from Hindash or Violette! I'm so glad that this was helpful! I know I was really curious to compare both formulas and just had to know what the differences were. ♥️ And ooof, I surprised myself when both looked so similar on my eyes! I thought I was tricking myself!
