You’re a life saver brother!! I can’t believe any content created posts videos in 2024 without time stamps. Timestamps need to become a basic service delivery standard, like going to a restaurant and the worker smiling and saying welcome.
Gukesh after becoming the World Champion is still so easily and humbly available to spend time with Sagar and ChessBase India is such a wholesome thing 🥰. Proves Gukesh is so humble and ChessBase India is a big deal!!
He has been around since a kid. Because chess base is a database owned by German company. But for india it's owned by sagar and amruta. If u want access to database of almost all chess matches in the history and many interesting studies and positions , u need to buy chess base . In India Sagar Shah is the one person who can provide u the key for that database. Almost all top players in the world prepare and practice from chessbase itself because it has almost all the matches . That's why these kids are very close to Sagar and amruta. Chess base india also identified young prodigies and brought them into limelight.
Gukesh will forever be indebted to Sagar.Sagar introduced him to the mainstream . Sagar has also had a direct role in Guki becoming world champion. He made last ditch efforts to organise the Chennai grandmasters solely for the purpose of Gukesh qualifying for the Candidates. He has done a lot for Indian chess.Yet he never talks about himself and is always humble and down to earth.Respect 🔥.So CBI is indeed a big thing for Indian chess.
@@technicalgamingandroid3208no brother u get the key when you buy it itself .It's that Sagar knows them since childhood before they were big things. And he has travelled with them
A shout out to Chessbase India and Sagar, I saw some comments during the World Championship games about ChessBase India not being professional. There are a lot of professional sites out there but ChessBase India and Sagar seem driven by love; love for Chess and the players playing it; this is content that comes from the heart and it feels different. To see one video from CBI is to fall down a rabbit hole of content. You feel so close the players, as if you really know them; any perception that chess is "boring" is gone watching a few slick edits! People say Vishy Anand is the reason for the growth of chess in India and that is no doubt true but feels like CBI is an underrated factor as well. Keep up the good work guys!
Gukesh becoming a world champion is also completes the arc of Chessbase India. Sagar and Amruta covered indian chess prodigies with no expectations but sheer love of the game and in the way covered the most crucial moments without realizing how integral they will be! Thank you!! So much to learn from you, not just in Chess but also in life!
It's 2:10 am in India & finished watching the entire 2 hr 53 min interview in one go. I thought that i'll watch a bit rn & then finish the rest in the morning. But as sagar said; it is like an entire story which all came together!

Exceptional journalism from Sagar! In a time where we are surrounded by megalomaniac hosts who are unruly or shallow content creators/podcasters, it is so reassuring to see someone like Sagar host ChessBase India content. Knowledgeable, grounded, ability to make the guests feel comfortable, shift tone and questioning based on the guest (compare the Ding and Gukesh interviews), and never taking himself too seriously. Kudos Sagar, exceptional job from your end!!
I feel somehow this was MEANT to happen. Him saying not just world champion but YOUNGEST world champion. Somehow sagar organising the first edition of chennai grandmasters ever. Gukesh winning the said event on demand to qualify for candidates. Fabi throwing against nepo twice in the same game with a huge advantage thereby preventing tie breaks. Ding, making that 1 huge mistake in game 14 after delivering such a tremendous performance in game 12. It is just as if stars aligned. Luck favors the brave. As someone said, extroardinary things happen to extroardinary people. What a journey!
Kudos to Gukesh for dedicating three hours to an insightful interview with Sagar. This truly reflects the importance of staying grounded and never forgetting your roots.
Anish Sarkar will probably cross it if anyone can its that younger youngster prodigy a potential GOAT outdoing chess champs across era from Kasparov Tal Magnus Fischer, just naturally supremely gifted if he improves from here loves the game and is as dedicated as Gukesh/Vishy is. Anish Sarkar will be 23-24 then, he is already 1800+ now isn't it. For now let's celebrate Gukesh Arjun Pragg Vidit - gems of Indian chess
Gukesh not only has become the world chess champion but also made a record of youngest ever champion which seems impossible to break 🎉🎉😊 All the best for future 👍
Hats off to you sagar!! You have truly been the backbone of the rising chess community in India. The amount of effort you and all your team puts into covering every thing related to chess with such detail.I think we all can literally see the amount of admiration and pride you have in your eyes for Gukesh in this video. Seriously Gukesh's victory feels so close to my heart almost like a common victory. Keep going gukiii!!🎉❤
Chessbase India you’ve done hell of a job to make this happen. Respect for you, for making this beautiful game more accessible. I really enjoy your analysis videos, your contribution is really appreciated! Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Fast forward to 2040, 34 yr old Gukesh has just returned back to his Chennnai Bungalow at Neelankarai that he bought recently, after winning his 6th world chess championship and going past Vishy Anand's record. With this win, he also became the 2nd Indian to cross 2875 elo, after Arjun, who is already a 4-time world champion. Gukesh was received his wife and 2 yr old son, his parents at the Paranur International airport and took an Airtaxi straight to his home. He will next be seen at the super-strong Indian national championship( with an avg elo of 2740) to be held in Delhi where he will lock horns with his long-time rivals Pragg and Nihal, apart from a bunch of budding youngsters. Meanwhile 71 yr old Vishy Anand has invited Gukesh and family to his home for a get-together this weekend to celebrate the achievement. Sagar and his team are already camping in Chennai to capture these wonderful moments and there Sagar starts Gukesh's interview with this video taken after becoming WCC for the first time, 16 yrs back.
It is just the beginning of something very big in Chess journey in india. Gukesh will become world no. 1 for sure and G.O.A.T one day. He is the pride of india 🇮🇳 ♥️. And sagar sir your contribution in growing chess in india will be remembered forever.
He has an incredible career ahead of him. His versatility and ability to quickly grasp new concepts in chess make him a constantly evolving player, moving closer to the universality of someone like Magnus. Over the next 5-6 years, he has the opportunity to refine his style and become the player he’s most comfortable being. His relentless work ethic, tireless dedication, gentlemanly demeanor, and maturity far beyond his years set him apart. Everything seems to be aligning for him to achieve greatness.
I love Gukii and sagar together ❤ Gukesh literally open his heart infront of sagar and Sagar just want to listen him whole the time. Such a great bond they have. Touchwood 🧿
Most awaited interview on internet 😭😭😭♥♥♥🙌 Seeing Gukesh watch that old video and realizing that he achieved what he dreamed of is just amazing. Finally 🎉🎉🎉
Many congratulations Gukesh for becoming the 18th World Champion at the age of 18. Your whole journey was very inspiring, I got to learn a lot about the game, how to play everything, thank you so much for that. Magnus Carlsen was my favorite in the game of chess but now he is not. Whenever I play chess, whether it is online or offline practice, I don't know, it feels like this is my career
Without ChessBaseIndia We wouldn’t be diving deep into their experiences Cause rest of the media or interviewers will not be able to make them feel this comfortable and also share what’s useful for many aspiring players
Sagar, love your work♥ But please can you improve your audio recording and processing quality 🙏 Cause your historical content deserves better sound quality.

@@technicalgamingandroid3208well said, one can occasionally find informative analysis like this on youtube comments!
@@technicalgamingandroid3208oh damn I never knew Sagar Shah had such power
So true...❤
+1
A 3 hour movie for me?
Duck pushpa. This is my What I want
Gukesh ❤
Gukesh becoming a world champion is also completes the arc of Chessbase India.
Sagar and Amruta covered indian chess prodigies with no expectations but sheer love of the game and in the way covered the most crucial moments without realizing how integral they will be!
Thank you!! So much to learn from you, not just in Chess but also in life!

💪🇮🇳💪🕉️💪 Brilliant. All glories to Gukesh. Jai Sri Ram. Jai Hind.
🍿
You watching the complete interview?
Yo wsg
❤
😅Anish taking notes
Sagar. History will remember you for your contribution to Indian Chess.
Exactly what I felt; I had total belief he would win, there was a "meant to be" feeling to the whole thing.
Gukesh also went to Tirupati b4 the macth and he said he dreamt lifting the trophy everyday.. the universe conspired 😄
True.
Ding said that in his interview with Sagar.
Kudos to Gukesh for dedicating three hours to an insightful interview with Sagar. This truly reflects the importance of staying grounded and never forgetting your roots.
After 20 years:
10 time world champion gukesh crosses 2900 and is the greatest player of all time
2900 is just too much and mostly after 30+ age chess players declines and goat to early too say but who knows?
Anish Sarkar will probably cross it if anyone can its that younger youngster prodigy a potential GOAT outdoing chess champs across era from Kasparov Tal Magnus Fischer, just naturally supremely gifted if he improves from here loves the game and is as dedicated as Gukesh/Vishy is.
Anish Sarkar will be 23-24 then, he is already 1800+ now isn't it. For now let's celebrate Gukesh Arjun Pragg Vidit - gems of Indian chess
Hold on now
@has642almost 2800 at 18 2900 maybe. Bit to high but yeah erigasi and guki can beat Magnus all time elo
@@anitapadhi325he is 1500
Look at Sagar's eyes....the happiness , the love for chess and true proudness for gukesh🥺

People cannot see beyond Magnus but I can and I see Gukesh reaching and going past. It will happen.
Maybe. Gukesh has the best start to a classical career since Kasparov.
Sagar literally saw him growing🤗❤
That's what I was waiting for ❤😊❤😊
The promise was made, and the oromise was kept 🤝
Night sorted
Touchwood 🧿
