Haha... Bits be trippin... For anyone wondering he the real OG in the mining space.. Carter taught me tons back in the early days.... 2016 or so.. If memory serves me correct he's been mining since 2011-12, still to this day.. Now he operates huge farms. I say 6-8yrs for 1 mill per coin Vosk.
Def not sure if I would of drilled the holes like that, opening yourself up to metal shavings in your PSU, would of been better just putting some tape on it, you don’t see it under the shroud and holds in position fine.
Small detail, should be noted that Xilinx/AMD are not making the controlboard, they are making the FPGA that is mounted on the board ;) Just a small pet peeve of an electrical engineer :P

You're probably should have completely removed the power supply and then drilled the hole so you weren't putting all the pressure on your bus bars in the rear which is close to metal
My PSU just took a shit for my ks0pro took me 3 days to figure our what was wrong lol. Unit would power up connect to pool but not start hash then it would reset itself every 2minutes. So wasn't even thinking of a power issue
Where there's no holes for the screws I would say use sum self tapper tek screws but idk if there's something on the other side so I wouldn't recommend that
These are cheaply made and will always break down...don't drill holes like that without checking the component you drilled into. Just because it turns on doesn't mean it is safe to use.

youre right the build quality is even worse than bitmain , with bitmain at least the problems are with quality controll not just bad design

great vid as always
