Love it...this is like coming back to the videos that made me a huge fan when I came across your channel a year ago. No one else makes my day or makes me chuckle like your gardening antics, frustrated mumbling, and the occasional throwing of something. Yes, go back to keeping it 'real', you do it so well and gives hope to the rest of us who struggle with trying to maintain an unattainable level of gardening perfection! 🌱
Loved the video Tony , it’s like how it is when I’m gardening, also it’s amazing how many tips can be picked out , and it makes me smile to watch you walking back and forth to pick up the things you forget , just like I do.😂❤️
Tony, I LOVE watching your videos! We are currently planting up our second plot in our allotment, we are on year two (2nd year on first plot, 1st year on second plot) and loving it - actually didn't know it existed until a friend mentioned it, little hidden gem. I'm learning a lot from you, so, thank you!
I always save your videos to watch without being disturbed. Usually with a cuppa on the go 👍. And this morning you made it onto the Big Screen. Yes, Tony, I flicked you onto the actual television screen in the living room! What do ya think to that, eh?
Hi Tony.. yet again your infectious style of gardening does it for me. All the gear you plant seems to do canny, and during these sad times we are going through i'm sure all of us need to have a laugh and be a little less serious. Keep up with the videos marra you make my day,,,
Dandelion, classed as edible perennial, but as I was saying to my gardening helper today, always be sure of what you are eating, there are many dangerous weeds! I enjoy your channel, a tonic when i cannot get to my allotment for whatever reason.
The Dandelion made me smile.. hey, why not, bees love them, the leaves are good in salads, flowers for tea or cordial, and the root for a coffee substitute.. maybe we should all be potting them up by accident 😄👍
Hi Tony glad you invested in the onion plants I think you will be investing in them in the future. I’ve just been saying to my other half I love your channel as it’s like watching one half of the chuckle brothers (no insult intended) you do it like it’s meant to be, if it works - brilliant if it doesn’t put it down to experience and try again next year. I now use a brother printer to label my plants as I was sick of the rain washing off the pen and pencil😂. Stay safe and look forward to more of your style of videos.
Love the new ‘keep it real’ format Tony! Gave me a laugh, reminded me of myself tripping up netting, the noises when getting up cause of the old back and chucking stuff in the direction of the compost heap. Great half an hour, keep it up!
Aww I loved this! The potty mouth makes me laugh! Also, I found Staedtler garden marker pen permanent markers on amazon and theyre brilliant! Don't wash off, don't fade, nothing!
Don't know why people edit tbh tony , deans back garden plot on FB , does not edit , shows it all , it's good for the beginnings , and saves you a lot of time as well .
I tried straw as an alternative to woodchip this year, as its cheaper and easier to get in my area. Plus I wanted some for my potato buckets 😉. It's worked a treat so far, you do get the odd seed sprouting but its easy to pluck and the green shoots stand out against the yellow straw.
I like your style, as you say keeping it real. Your video kept me engaged to the end. Looking forward to next update ☺️ in between watching the back catalogue as a newbie here.
Thanks for another great video. I plant dandelion on purpose for the greens - not sure it's the same variety you transplanted, but adds nice bitterness to a salad. Happy gardening! Audrey
Aye, carrots just gone in here to Tony, did the cosmic purple last as a trial, come out fine, except they turn the water purple when you cook them and go back to being orange, one thing I notice about seed packets from home and here, it seems that you get some seeds in a little foil packet, not seen that here yet, just like when you opened the Baker Creek seeds...
I like you video's whatever the format, but I do miss the music you used to use. I have 3 favourites, which is you, of course! Jane Kelly and Castle Hill. Premier seeds are fantastic! Good quality seed and so cheap, plus the postage is under £1! I chit my parsnip seeds, especially this year with it being so cold, so if yours don't show, try chitting them first on some damp tissues and leave them somewhere dark .
Tony... watched you for over a year.... your great. Is that seed keeping box a great way to keep seeds? do you keep it at home in a cold space, or what ... be honest . I just want to know if I should get one.....
Hi Tony, been watching a few days now,you started to grow on me now i guess, those brad atomic grape ,i was wondering, treating a couple like sweetpea corden, nip out tip, grow on strongest side shoot

@@TonyCSmith I also meant to say I have always loved the music you play when doing your fast forwarding, that type of 'editing' is perfect!
Yea went full on local accent there with the friend. We might need subtitles Tony 😉😉😂. Pleasure as always to watch. Happy Growing

Every video must now be made unedited they are so much fun to watch😂

Rummaging round for the netting, where's me glasses, I need my kneeling pad, where's me towel. All these things Tony are me to a tee!
Your garden looks great !!
Loved it! What real gardening looks and sounds like, even if it's someone's inside voice. :-)
The Dandelion made me smile.. hey, why not, bees love them, the leaves are good in salads, flowers for tea or cordial, and the root for a coffee substitute.. maybe we should all be potting them up by accident 😄👍
They're so common because they used to be deliberately grown for food.

Another great video
You should invest in a DYMO Letra Tag unit Tony, better than using a marker if its not going out in the rain.
The thin fleece kept in the shed rolled up when not in use protects it from breaking down and going powdery
More videos like this Tony. Very entertaining! 😂

Had a good giggle at this one , keeping it real 😁

Hi Tony hope you're well. Tell you what, I wouldn't half mind if you made your videos longer. Just a thought. God bless and thank you for the laughs.
Few folks have mentioned that.
Yes I thought it was rubbish though it would last a bit longer than a few weeks new to gardening .
Mind those bricks Tony! he he... P.S. i have flakey fleece too..
Ya can keep them unedited for me Tony.
I agree... he's worth watching !!!
I got the thin kind which did the same. Nit enough fibers to give strength.
Tony... watched you for over a year.... your great. Is that seed keeping box a great way to keep seeds? do you keep it at home in a cold space, or what ... be honest . I just want to know if I should get one.....
Great video, dont think i would have the patience with that carrot netting lol
Hi Tony, been watching a few days now,you started to grow on me now i guess, those brad atomic grape ,i was wondering, treating a couple like sweetpea corden, nip out tip, grow on strongest side shoot
Onions and carrots are good companions. The smell of the onion is meant to keep the root fly away.
* box in the description * lols .. have i mentioned the box ?... as always a thoroughly enjoyable video thank you tony .:-)
Should be on the stage 😂😂
Can grow the carrots before you eat them?
😂😂 brilliant!!! 🌟
I use clothes pegs instead of clips
👍
i puttered around in the garden all day, did a bunch of stuff, finished nothing!!!
bit of heavy breathing going on there Tony.
I'm sure the close mic amplifies the breathing, but ya, a little too heavy. Mind yourself now Tony. We mean well.
😂
