*So amazingly quiet and **Fastly.Cool** in my room! 42db is at a whisper level. I bought 2 and installed myself.Very sturdy bracket and easy to adjust to fit windows of different size. Absolutely fabulous units!!*
I'm only getting a positive reading when I check DC voltage at the outdoor unit. What do I need to check next? The Reactor ohms reading is good. Power is good to the unit. Not a new unit worked for several years then threw the E1 code. Pioneer brand mini split.
So for the indoor and outdoor unit to communicate properly it uses the neutral wire and signal wire in 115v applications, and in 230v versions it uses l2? In theory could u use a 115v outdoor and 230 indoor unit. I know u could wire them each for the correct voltage but im worried they wont communicate correctly. Same series of units in matching sizes just diff voltage
No . The data has nothing to do with the voltage on 220or 115. Just consider n or l2 the same . I only reference n or l2 becuase you can have a 115 volt machine or a 220 volt machine. You are only using that terminal l2 or n in dc mode. The results will be the same . But indoor and outdoor units must be same voltage . 220 machine will have 220 indoor and 220 out door. Also popularity must be the same. So the wire used on l2 outside must be exact same as l2 inside. Same with l1 .
Hi I have a 220v unit e1 code when measuring from ground to N I’m getting 220 v reading is my board bad or there is an underlying voltage problem coming from breaker box
I know someone connected 220v instead of 115V. The indoor unit seems to function and gives the E1 code. The outdoor unit does nothing. Is the outdoor board fried?
Yes . If you look at the board there are several round capacitors on the board. They will be exploited or majorly swollen. Normally no harm to indoor unit.
@@LG-gg3bg it is a gamble on parts. Maybe cheaper to ask for a scratch and dent outdoor unit. But there is no universal boards that will interchange. Send me your email
Yes or you have bad wire connections, faulty wire , or solid strand wire. Make sure wire is in conduit if not water could have penetrate the wire and cause data flow failure . Possibly even damage board. 80% or the time is a wiring or power issue that is the problem not the board, but the problem could have damaged the board

great video, been getting into mini splits more now

Probably control board then

Do you have any E1 error code videos for a 24,000 BTU 220 Mr. Cool advantage series unit?
It works same for Mr cool as this video
Hi I have a 220v unit e1 code when measuring from ground to N I’m getting 220 v reading is my board bad or there is an underlying voltage problem coming from breaker box
If from ground I can't imagine how you can get 220v
@@ACPro place one lead green wire other lead to N (L2) getting that voltage
E1 code and the system measures from positive to negative as it should but still get error code and outside unit won’t turn on
Things that I measured
Reactor measures under 1ohm
Voltages coming in 220v
Voltages going out 220v
thank you

@@ACPro DO you think it would be worth the time to replace the caps that are damaged?
I dont think so. There is a I'm module on the board that is probably damaged as well. Only thing you can do is replace the board.
@@ACPro Klimaire is really lousy on customer service. Do you know of another source for their parts?

Is this for all brands of mini splits these codes
Most brands
Getting aEL01 error
Don't know that code .
Mulbuena sería mejor si fuera en español
What’s the brand of the unit ?
This is most brands same diagnostic. Carrier, ductlessaire, heil, tampstar,

if the voltage has always been n and S positive and negative than outdoor pcb is correct or dead
