"there's a u and i in union but just an i in our beliefs, there's a crashing plane with a banner that reads everyone's naive" perfect end to a great concept album.
Protest is amazing stuff, I am 38 and I practice to thier music.... I always find myself singing along at that point of the song as well SupaflyRL.... I relish the wierd looks I get from the homies in my hood lol
Not every band can have a melodic, peaceful guitar instrumental at the end of a fast paced, adrenaline punk rock song and still sound amazing. PTH IS SICK.
"I'd rather kill a stupid flower and spread its seeds around, until a garden with our bullet-laden morals will be found." God this band has some awesome lyrics.
Also my comment is probably the first time anyone has ever interpreted lyrics on the internet and not been horrendously wrong so take a screenshot and cherish it forever.
"I'd rather kill a stupid flower and spread it's seeds around until a garden with our bullet-laden morals will be found" = Kezia's death was not meaningless since she was a martyr to whatever cause it was that made her execution absurd. Since she was martyred the ideas would be spread and given the ability to flourish. Kezia is the flower, the seeds are the ideas she was martyred for, and the garden is change realized.
@oniman13 actually, no. Every song is up to the listener's interpretation, but PTH's own meaning to this particular song is about how they are leaving their politically-influenced roots, and moving on to bigger things. That's why the lyrics are somewhat disconnected to the rest of the album. It technically has no relation to the story the album has presented. You can find out more about the meaning on Sputnikmusic
@Kimoki313 Not stupid but moreso insignificant, 1 person is usually too insignificant to cause change, but if people were to catch onto the idea caused by her death than it can be seen as a sacrifice.
As a fan of both bands, I'm going to tell you that they sound nothing alike, and that's not a bad thing. However, they do use similar compositional methods in their music, and it's fucking delicious.

@shaunsaddress1 It says nowhere in the article that he endorsed it in anyway. I'd rather like to know where you saw this endorsement. .
