Goldfish are really cool, I might start trying to breed them soon but my favorites are Thai Orandas, Calico Ryukins and Ranchus
You should definitely start a goldfish display tank just because they’re fun to keep, bare bottom or maybe a fin sand and goldfish safe plants like anubias/bolbitis

I love sakura orandas but don't see them that often. The matte white scales are so pretty and almost look soft!

I love that you got goldfish and koi in! Some different colors/patterns of Ryukins (short fin and long fin) would be cool to see. Also, it would be great to see a variety of colors/patterns of telescope butterfly goldies. My #1 fish for the pond I'm going to build is a butterfly platinum koi, but that short fin platinum you got in is gorgeous! I can't wait until I get my one 55 gallon cleaned and set up again. I'm dedicating it to the goldies.

I agree that Panda goldfish are cute and very unique. What can be kinda disappointing is that they are gonna change color. So the one with the little black spot on its head may end up losing that spot as it gets older. If it looked like that and was like 5in it would most likely stay that color.

You missed bubble eye goldfish, Ranchu, Kirin, black thai oranda (BTO) and black thai ranchu (BTR). you should also have gotten an Asagi, shiro utsuri and tanchu too.

That oranda has a black on fins, hes just a red white oranda still on molting stage, that will stable has a black fins its a tricolor

Red white and black koi are either Sanke or Showa. Main difference is Showa will have black on the head. Sanke don’t have black on the head. A Sanke is a white fish with red and black colourings. A Showa is a black fish with red and white colourings. Showa tend to have all three colours on the head Sanke usually have just red and white.

I have a small pond 50gallons in my back yard but honestly it took me 8 years to successfully keep fish alive in it. Due to the lack of knowledge and being completely ignorant, I killed so many fish because I didn’t know what I was doing and I thought throwing them in a pond and feeding them was all I had to do. Nope. I finally got smart and started looking things up and figured out that the temperature was too high and with a black liner that didn’t make it better but I have it shaded and I now have 7-9 fish in it and all of them started out as small feeders and an 1” koi that I didn’t even know was a koi and they’re all at least 4-7” now

I had a Kohaku koi 2 years ago; it's a high grade fish and get massive in appropriate environment. 😁
My personal favorite goldfish are blue base calico ranchus and milk cow ranchus
They can be aggressive toward each other thats why the fins don't look good I have goldfish and they slowly start to kill the other ones over time

Those pearl skin goldfish look like they have a severe case of Dropsy. Nasty looking
