I've been having a rough time with life recently and watching your videos has helped put a smile on my face everyday and given me a lot of inspiration. Everything you've done just shows you don't need a big fancy shop just real dedication.
Things I can't wait to see on this car: 1) The black wheel deplastidipped 2) the 3rd brake light 3) the hood 4) the green plate light 5) interior completed (including head unit/speaker system I wanna see that) 6) Turbo?
Nice work man. Yeah you need a rear wing proto. Also since you have that filter now I would suggest in getting a splash shield otherwise you'll have to be careful when driving in rain. The smallest of puddles will get water all up in your intake. I'm sure Payton has a few. 👍🏾
Interesting! I totally forgot about the rain being an issue with this filter location! Great call there! I'm trying to find a wing that is about half of the height of the 'f40' style wing. Its the wing that is on the white greddy z. Can't find it anywhere 😭
I hardly comment on videos, but honestly, Mike, you have been a huge inspiration to me. You are by FAR my favorite channel to watch. Keep up the fantastic work bro, and thank you for the frequent uploads 💯🔥 you always make my day better and motivate me to work on my cars. Stay blessed 🙏🤙
@@mist326 of course we do! Can't you feel the sarcasm in my comment? I support Mike in every way I can. Mostly with liking and commenting on every video of his 😉
LoL.... I sold those new in 90-91. I bought the first yellow one in the southeast U.S. Although it's sad to see how old and broken they are, I'm glad there is a community restoring them. For what they were, they were decent cars.
I had to remove Plasti dip from some rx-8 wheels last year and the only things that really worked were goo gone and chlorinated brake cleaner. Simple green wasn't bad either but it took a lot of scraping. Buying a power washer really helped finish them off though.
Love the build! Seeing the small improvements is very satisfying. The car club vibes are perfect also. I thought you were from SoCal until I saw the plates.
logan stalling the car twice got me so good that i laughed out loud at 1am the first stall right after "they see me rollin'" was the most comedic timing
Love that you upload everyday! You truly give me motivation to start working on my car and getting it to this stage, keep it up mike love the consistent content!
I’m building a 1st gen Ford Probe. But recently I’ve been feeling that I’m never going to finish the project. Your videos have inspired me so much to continue building it! Thank you Mike for inspiring me and so many others!
Please tell me it's almost turbo time😂 lovin the longer video 🔥 I always get super nervous messin with headlight adjustments. Those things are usually so flimsy
i remember telling you to ditch the s13 when it was damaged...here i am watched every single repair video on her. gj my dude seriously. and greetings to your gf, always a smile on the camface :D
This is why I love these videos I had no idea the z headlights were adjustable like that my mind is blown car is looking great Mike she’s gonna make a great daily
I love how you still ingratiate different types of content in every single video. From going Skating to go to the beach. Dude I respect your grind. Wish you the best!
Really enjoying this series. Two things I was going to ask about though: 1) How’s the alignment? I remember in an earlier video you said the steering wheel was a little off-center. If so, it might be worth addressing soon if it’s your daily. 2) I’m not a Z guy, but aren’t those headlight screws also for adjusting headlight aim? It might be worth checking the level on a brick wall to make sure you still have good visibility at night.
Your videos have led to me picking up my first project car, I have taken on a 1984 Toyota Corona rolling shell which i got off my neighbour for free. Not much rust in it at all had a bunch fixed already. And i also aquired a free engine for it from my uncle (1970's Holden Straight 6), With all the organizing tips you have showcased in your videos it's gonna help me be able to do this instead of giving up after a year because i am an absolute scatterbrain. When i get this car running i will try show you man cause it'll be motivation that came from you that helped make it happen.
Hey Mike I deal with removing Plasti Dip all the time at work, use Goo Gone and soak it down, let it sit for 5 minutes and then hit it with a pressure washer or scrub it off with a brush and hose. If it is really old you might have to repeat the process a few times.
@@PrizzaMike I have spent so much time cleaning that stuff off with carb cleaner, lacquer thinner, and everything else. I wish I knew about Goo Gone earlier in my career, becuase it works so much better. Good luck!
Ka swapped Z has been cool to watch! Cobalt Green Pearl is the name of the color. It also came on s14 kouki cars, it's a nice green. color code DN1 total 300zx made in that color = 1817 Percent of Production 2.04%
you can remove the metal frame from under the front plastic nose panel. itlle help it sit flush easier. that tank of a metal shell isnt needed. mine had been only the plastic for over 8 years now and ive gone well over 150 mph no issues at all
Hey just wanted to say thank you for the discount code on the battery pack jumper. I actually really needed one, and also for the price it seems to definitely be worth it!
I would personally use WD40 for removing the plasti dip as it's not as hard on the original wheel surface, if it was spray paint or you don't really care about the stock wheel's finish then brake clean will do, I've taken spray paint off a wheel with brake clean so I know that stuff works
bro you've been uploading every day about the 300ZX! And you're pretty much one of the only car channels that Im subbed to that I enjoy watching your vids. Keep at it!
Recently found ur channel bro…. You steady are putting out new videos my dude…. Love the content…I used to have a first gen Altima se 5speed and a 95 240. My cousin had a 300zx….love these old Nissans……they are waaaaay to pricey in my neck of the woods and I can’t find a clean first gen Altima SE. even with an auto…..
I had plastidip all over my car when I got it and I was told googone will take it off. After going to the store, all I could find was “Goof Off Overspray Remover” so I decided to give it a shot. It worked AMAZING. Definitely do that over aircraft stripper. That will rip the wheel paint off too.
Congratulations on your new daily. Those green lights have to go, lol. It seems like you need to go to the junk yard again to pick up little parts for your cars. I like it when you go picking. You seem to run into some interesting junk cars.

@@PrizzaMike i dunno if they still make it but there's a company in australia that *might* still have the moulds for it???
So cool to see that 300 brought back to life as a daily! Thanks for sharing the journey! The engine swap is amazing!

I have a feeling that you left the ignition on on purpose 🧐🤔
I agree lol
I had that suspicion too
for the video sponsor most likely
but can we appreciate that he takes on car related sponsorship and integrates it well into his videos

Keep up the solid content mike! Also Goo-Gone takes plasti dip really well. Previous owner of my car did my entire roof and that took it right off.
Love how the green bulbs keep making an appearance in each episode😆

The Z with the blue interior looks so unique.
Im not used to see cars with blue interior
Early model z’s came with headlight alignment jigs under the rear trunk trim. Opposite the abs pump I believe.
