Mine came inside a really sturdy box inside the amazon box. Surprised yours did not..
Just an outer brown cardboard box with a bit of screwed up paper
@@BigPauly mortifying. At least it survived. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this set.. it's much nicer than the standard edition.
@@raisedonfictionme too. Just got mine. Also from Amazon but I bought it from a third party seller rather than directly from Amazon.
Wow they shipped that weird. Mine came in a cardboard wrapper inserted into a cardboard box which was then in another cardboard box.
We have all bought stuff we already have I did it recently myself with Reds got the US A man called Otto which had a slip.
So I got the 13 disk dvd set back in 2006? I believe and it's a shame this set doesn't come with the extended version of superman the movie.
Luckily the Steelbook collection does include the extended version of Superman

That's a lovely 4k set of the original 4 Superman films shame it has Superman 4 in it but I suppose you have to have it lol.
Aside from the various quality issues with this set, (again Warner Bros) its a nice set however if your interested and have the originally released 4K of the first film... KEEP IT! It contains the original theatrical 70mm 6 track audio on it in Dolby Digital 5.1. This new disc has the original audio on it but in DTS Master Audio 2.0 stereo. I had the original 4K disc but sold it as the transfer is pretty bad but its the only place the 70mm 6 track has been released so will be wanted by fans of the film. After I discovered Warner has missed it off this new disc I picked the original 4K disc back up. That 6 track audio is I believe the best way to experience the film. Nice set but for the price they should have included the TV cut of Superman the Movie.

I got this from Zavvi and they sent it the same way but luckily it came ok Glad yours arrived ok 👍🏼
Not the best packaging from hmv got mine from Amazon had a extra white box which Tin was in so had extra protection was happy with it

But two issues,,
Don't think it has superman the movie extended cut,,,, and no superman returns,,, that's a shame,,
Because that's actually a good film,, it's underrated,, and overlooked,,,,, 😲
I have this set. Superman the directors cut is included on blu ray

Fantastic Steelbook set Pauly. It’s a shame that Superman returns wasn’t included as it is a underrated movie and it is part of the timeline 😎
I think they didn't release Superman Returns because of Spacey being in it.
@@southendonseaarts It's probably the one-two punch of Spacey and Singer. Maybe even moreso Singer, who would likely have to have input into any remastering efforts and would probably stand to earn some decent royalties off the re-release, etc. It is a shame, though. If only because the Anthology blu ray set already exists to invite comparison, this new set does seem incomplete. The fact that there is a fifth steelbook simply to house some extra little collectibles makes me wonder if there was ever a point during the production of the set when they were seriously considering including Superman Returns.
Lovely looking set Paul. I picked up the 5 movie (inc Superman Returns) bluray box set from my normally really poor local Asda yesterday for £18! 👍👍
Apparently superman 4 audio is a mess and a half but it looks gorgeous
It should include Superman Returns aswell really
I don’t see the point in having a 4K set with Blu Rays included.
so 2 people can watch the same film but on different screen. incase they don't like eachother
Blu-rays have all the special features.
