I don't know if it's the same brand, but Konka is a reputable led strip manufacturer used in a lot of OEM tv displays. They also made some cheap tvs that are quite reasonable
This is not bad. The price is like buying a dedicated FM radio. By the way, konka tv is actually good and was popular in the philippines during the latr 90s competing with goldstar (now LG) back then.
KONKA is a relatively well-known Chinese brand in the 2000s, they made our third CRT TV (before we switched to flat panel LCDs). After that they fell into obscurity but apparently the brand is still alive?
It seems to still alive at least in my country (Indonesia). I saw many electronic stores are still selling Konka TV, but it's popularity has been decreased since last decade as their direct competitors (Samsung and LG) starts making more affordable TV product
As someone in Mainland China, I can say that KONKA is indeed still living, and they are still making things like TV, and they seems pretty OK, not bad.
Yep, I actually had a Konka CRT from 2003 until I scrapped it around 2012 when the digital switchover occurred. I actually miss that CRT television as I spent my childhood playing PS1 and Wii on it.
A cool little device. The camera is pretty good. The photo of the link closed was really good. Video not too shabby either. I would use as a spare device to help cut down on battery anxiety on my main device. Lol I was pretty stunned that you got it from E-waste as it looks in really great condition. I wouldn't complain if I had this to use in the car playing music . Fun video to whtch. 😀😎

Even if i never heard of Konka before, its website says it‘s brand lasted since 1980. Nokia has an new Logo today. The Logo on your phone should be used since 1992. Maybe Konka was first.
Interesting there is also a Konica they bought the camera company Minolta and became Konica-Minolta. Later selling the camera business to Sony and just continued on as the copy machine business.

Crazy to think that i paid arround the same for a brand new Realme X back in 2019 on aliexpress, wich im still using, back then you had such good midrange phones for low prices.
It's the infamous Spreadtrum SC9832E processor. 64-bit budget 4G processors in 28nm HKMG node, with Mali T820 MP1 GPU. And I actually have one phone running this chip, the Samsung Galaxy J2, but it stucks at Android 7 (although I can make it get OneUI 1 a.k.a Samsung's Android 8 but something might misbehave). The performance is kinda hit and miss but when I looked at this phone, it makes me remember the Nokia 2, and it WORSE than that tbh in all aspects.
This seems to be lowest you could go and still get usable phone, i.e. phone capable of calls, messages, snapshots , quick mail reading and limited surfing in a pinch. Big plus support for 4G LTE . Btw, Nokia font is free to use, or at least there are free fonts that look like Nokia fonts. One is called , don't laugh , NokiaKokia 😁
Yes, i remember the Konka CRT's as well. Hey, what suburb of Melbourne you in? No, not gonna stalk ya, it's just i've been watching you for years and i keep trying to guess from your backyard shots.
It's funny that Nokia phones and their logos did not even exist until the mid 90s. Way before this company, I do think Nokia ripped off this company's logo
KONKA was a reputable brand in China for television, but since 2010s they don't compete well with other television brands in China, and pretty much fell into obscurity
looking at images on review sites, it seems like it was only in Aus and it was at the end of 2019 but possibly came to Aus in early 2020. Maybe the pandemic was a reason it is very unknown as it might be the type of phone they only sell for a deal in stores? not sure though.
Я бы не смог таким пользоваться из-за названия, это ж невозможно 😄 Если только его навеки заточить в чехол и не вынимать. А, нет, экран приветствия все равно KONKA

23:18 I remember when your channels picture looked like that, late 2018-ish, good simpler times :D
I actually own a TV made by Konka. It's pretty good.

I had no idea that RUclips Go was discontinued. Another one to add to the Google graveyard.
yep, I legitamitly thought it said Nokia in the thumbnail lol. Just goes to show how much font matters when it comes to branding.
Actually great for an ultra budget-tier phone, seems to be also great for media playback purposes.
To paraphrase DankPods, this nugget is shockingly cromulent.

Interesting there is also a Konica they bought the camera company Minolta and became Konica-Minolta. Later selling the camera business to Sony and just continued on as the copy machine business.
Nokia font, but the name itself sounded like they took a mix of Konica and Tonka. (Neither are Aussie brands, so you might not recognise them.)
