Momo’s English has gotten good enough to make Japanese Katakana English sound weird to her.
And since she’s from Kyoto she naturally speaks Kansai-ben, so trying to speak not only Standard/Tokyo Japanese, but Standard Kata English as well has to be super confusing.
These two are so cute.They speak English better than they think.I admire the fact that all the members can sing in so many languages. They try so hard to please their fans.
I think it's funny they are trying to speak English in the incorrect Japanese way so they sound more Japanese. lol

Basically Momo's English has gotten so good she can't pronounce English phrases in broken Japanese-English lol
It’s not actually broken English.
The English taught in Japanese schools is Katakana English, and since she’s from Kyoto she was actually taught Kata English with the Kansai dialect instead of Standard Japanese dialect.
It must be very confusing.

@@powbobs plus in Japan are taught UK English but the old one (influence from the explorers) that why the pronunciation is also different in kata, also is that the reason the terms they use for certain things in japan-english is confusing to english americans and the English people now.
Twice intense japanese lessons so funny, the more they focus the more Momo's english sounds so good. Maybe when Mina and Sana show up for class all issues will be solved.

Love when they speak English, it's so cute and still easy to understand what they're trying to say. I wish telemarketers spoke English as good as these ladies lol.

This priceless. Momo really struggling. Since she has been use to saying it the Korean way. That she can't remember how it sounds in standard Japanese. Just in her dialect.

Nayeon's English is on the better side. She's also taking English lessons so I'd expect her to keep improving.
