Since its release in 2010 the fragrance from Creed has been massively hyped and popular throughout the fragrance community.
The brand says;
Aventus celebrates strength, vision and success, inspired by the dramatic life of war, peace and romance lived by Emperor Napoleon. The bottle is emblazoned with a silver emblem of a horse and rider.
The finest ingredients were hand-selected for this composition, and father and son developed this provocative, masculine and optimistic fragrance as a joint effort.
Top notes: blackcurrant, bergamot, apple and pineapple. Heart: rose, dry birch, Moroccan jasmine and patchouli. Base: oak moss, musk, ambergris, and vanilla.

I bought a bottle back in 2010 when my son was born, and the scent memories I have with Aventus are some of the best scent memories I have. Fragrances and music will always guard me against senility. :):):)

I would say it’s worth it if you really have the extra money to spend. Even if you have the dupes. But beware once you start using higher quality ingredients your nose will become spoiled and will expect that same quality across the board. Most people don’t know what synthetic ingredients smell like till they smell natural. Can you afford to be picky?! It’s very subjective. Great video.

It's definitely true about It getting stronger over time I bought Creed imperial despite the fact that everyone bitched about how weak it was and I got a brand new bottle and at first it was very weak and then over time it got really strong to where I could smell it on my clothes and myself all day I think maceration is a real thing and people don't take it into account

I have over 300 bottles, Aventus is still my all time favorite and none of the clones completely hold up. Aventus is still 100% worth it.

I've got 11s01 decant and a 13z01 and let me tell you I got a couple of clones from perfume parlour which is based in the UK and also from another UK based company called noted aromas and let me tell you I thought it was hype but these guys are nailing the scent! I've newer batches and older batches, the older ones are a little smokier but chemicals get banned so it's never the same, but if you want a decent clone try either of those I said or another one called pocket scents
Costco has Aventus now. Probably the cheapest price you'll find, $256 for 100ml.

Agree with one of your points, if you’re a collector you should have a bottle of Aventus in it. I have a bottle I got two years ago and the performance has gotten better with maceration
I also think if you love the DNA based on having something like Explorer you owe it to yourself to try Aventus.
Aventus is definitely my favorite! I have a bottle for around 3 yrs now. I think the projection isn’t that strong but the scent is still good n I’m fine w that.

Agree, Aventus is worth buying for me as well. I do love my clones/inspired by, and some do smell closer than others. In the end they're all missing something from the original. I get around 6-7 hours with my bottle, and that is plenty. Aventus is kind of a weird one with me. I love it, but after 5-6 hours I have had enough. Great vid brother!!

Six hours is plenty good for any fragrance so something different can be put on.
no matter what people say nothing is the same as genuine creed aventus even though it doesnt last anywhere near as long as it used to its still worth the money if you can afford it

Still one of the best smelling fragrances to date. Clean, sharp, woody, citrusy, fruity, smoky and very versatile and luxurious. I have a newer batch, 2021 after selling my 2017 bottle and the new one it's still awesome. Never got an issue with the performance. It reaches 6-8 hours easily and sometimes even more. It's a tricky one but the smell is heavenly. And most important for me is the overall quality of the smell. I have many dupes/interpretations of it but none can equal Aventus.
Maybe not worth the retail price but worth "hunting" some discounts.

Although it’s not my favorite, it is a damn good fragrance! I understand pricing, batch variation, performance will always be an issue for many consumers, I still believe this is a must have for anyone that enjoys this scent profile!
I agree Dave. If you LOVE this scent profile but have mainly experienced it through the dupes and inspired by’s I think people owe it to themselves to at least get a sample and wear it and live with it for a bit.
I feel the same exact way. I just got aventus and Viking cologne and I’m loving both. It genuinely made me commit to now buying a whole creed line up. Next is original santal and royal oud which is expensive af Rn

The newer batches now have lemon in the opening the notes have completely changed so the clones now are more viable because they pretty much smell identical to the original creed is becoming more mainstream now with kering owning creed
My bottle is a 2021 and miles ahead of the clones I own IMO.
You’re 100% right about Aventus. No clone can replicate even 80% of what Creed does. My 2020 bottle last all day and all week on clothes. Maceration definitely helps the longevity of any new creed bottle.

I own a newer bottle of Creed Aventus and it’s good. I paid a little under $300. I have a few clones of it and I won’t be rebuying Aventus when I’m done with the bottle. To each their own. Live and let live.

I definitely loved the smell of it when I first smelled and although there are alot of fantastic clones but nothing beats the original. However the price is the only barrier from me getting it.

I don't have a bottle of Aventus but I do have Green Irish Tweed and Silver Mountain Water and love them both. I own Explorer and wear it when I want that Aventus vibe but don't feel I need to own the OG. I agree with you, I don't think Cedrat Boise smells like Aventus. If I take a whiff from the bottle, there is some similarity but once it hits skin, the Intense Cedrat Boise is a totally different scent.
Absolutely! I agree unless you are in love with the DNA there are perfectly serviceable inspired by that can get you that profile.

Wouldn't bother wasting your money. I first smelled it about 5 or 6 years ago from a distance from someone at work. It blew me away, I loved it from the first smell but couldn't afford it at that time. Moving forward to 4 or 5 months ago I bought a bottle from Creeds website. I've never been so disappointed with it. I thought I'd been sent a fake fragrance. There's hardly any fruit notes in it. More woody notes. It doesn't project how it used to do and it doesn't last long on the skin. I think that when creed sold their company the new owners reformulated it watered it down and totally ruined the scent just for pure profit.
I understand man many people have had either fantastic bottles under the new ownership and no issues or terrible bottles.
I currently have 3 fragrances from Creed: Original Santal, Millesime Imperial, and Aventus Cologne. Aside from genuinely enjoying those, I really do believe that Aventus isn't part of my lineup for the simple fact that it's the most popular Creed fragrance, but I recently got a good-sized sample from a Creed rep, and to my surprise, my wife said it's her favorite scent of *everything* in my collection (I'm still ranking Tuxedo as my personal favorite, but that's obviously so much less versatile). After watching this vid, I agree with everything you said here, and I think it helped motivate me to go out and get a bottle.

I was in Las Vegas on Sunday and in Ceasars Palace, Creed had an entire store. Everything was super high priced too 💸

At first, I could smell the F batch I have, but now (lately) it vanishes n 15 mins.. then I get strong wafts through the day. Still a stellar scent!!

Not using as higher quality ingredients anymore so clones now pretty much bang on probably 95-98% similar, easier for clone houses to copy now with the note change and lower quality of ingredients
I'll have to try a new bottle when mine is empty. My 2021 is better than any clone I have.
I smelled aventus for the first time about a amonth ago and i had to buy a 250 ml and i love creeds "erolfa" very aquatic and woody its alot stronger than aventus but it dries down into a powdery scent after 2-3 hrs which still smells good so i bought a 100ml of erolfa aswell... i have 4 other cheaper colognes like yves saint laruent myself, aqua di gio, versace eros,and chrome azzaro. My favorite to smell are the creeds but my favorite more affordable is chrome azzaro for me chrome edt lasts 12+hrs. Get what you can afford and makes you happy.
Erolfa is suuuuppper underrated. Nice choice.

Yeah I just ordered an F000 batch. I have a ton of the clones and decided I want the a full bottle of the real thing. I heard the F Batches are actually good but I’m curious to see how I like it. The DNA is timeless and enjoyable. Everyone seems to enjoy it. haven’t had any negative feedback and I love the smell on me so it’s a win. The problem is I go nose-blind to it and can’t tell that it’s pushing and everyone can smell it around me.
I go nose blind as well and people can still smell hour later.
On me no one smell it, batch f000388, even on clothes it seem to be noticeable for max 1 hour from other people, that is outrageous for a 300€+ fragrance

When you buy Creed, you buy the name. Quality is on the down side. The new Batches dosen't last. I have 2 different batch and one is from 2020 hlf way and a new 2022 one performence is weak, macerate process doesn't help.
I have diferent inspiration of it, and some af them are better in their own way, and last a lot longer than Creed. Loewe Escensia EDP, CDNIM Limited Edition, Supremacy Not only intense (more on the side of Hacivat), Al Haramain L'Venture, Rumz Al Rasasi and Shaheen Silver. This Have better performance. The prices are lower and you can have all for the price of one Aventus. Is crazy but for me, i have no need of more Aventus. And this fagabce have their own path in term of smell. Thanks Gerard for your opinion.

The dna is now so populair which kinda defeats the purpose of me getting something niche.

Montblanc explorer has been my most complimented scent ever so i feel like i don't need aventus.
But i do understand wanting to get the real deal. Especially if your budget allows it.

Highly disagree - I own both. I use Aventus since 2018 and got like +25 compliments from random strangers (cashier/train/bus/street/supermarket) women/men old/young.
I also like Montblanc explorer and friends/family also gave compliments for it but never ever came a stranger to me and told me how good the smell is. There is a big diff but both are good !
for me they could charge an even higher prize but only of they could copy their own aventus from 2015. more smokey, lasts longer - just a different kind of quality back in time. if they being this back i‘ll buy even for 500€. but for now? n e v e r

Interesting video Gerard!! Although I do like aventus and the DNA it established, the price tag is insane. Rather go explorer that gets me 90% of the scent at 15% of the price tag. You're killing it with the content lately brother.

Another great video Gerard! For my money, Aventus isn’t worth it. I have 3 clones (BR Black Walnut Legend, EL London, & Cremo Bergamot & Musk) and enjoy all 3. The scent itself is nice, however, I have several signature worthy scents in my collection that I would still choose over Aventus I.E. Terre ‘d Hermes, Profumo, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver & Beau de Jour. Thats just where my preferences are. If I was going to buy a Creed, I’m starting with Green Irish Tweed.

I have montblanc explorer. Very similar to aventus but goes off in another direction sort of. Great perfume though for its price it is so worth it especially if you get a bottle from a grey dealer. I have the 30ml bottle it is so cool how they made the bottle that small.
I also recommend Nishane Hacivat. Right now you can get a 3.4 bottle for 140 bux and it is a banger. Similar to aventus but is longer lasting and better projection. I really recommend you get a bottle for review it is blind buy worthy.
I definitely plan on grabbing a bottle of Hacivat Brayan.

Yes good eye! I have it running to a Rodecaster Pro. I record it there then sync it up with the scratch audio that is recorded by the camera.
since i bought montblanc Explorer in 2019 i wouldn’t spend hundreds of dollars for a new batch of Creed Aventus! Explorer does the job ! by the way i have a Creed Aventus 4.2 oz brand new! batch 2017 .

I can.t stand this perfume for going nose blind to it in like 15 minutes. I want to smell it on me all day, I don.t care if ppl smell me, I want to smell me for a morale boost.

For me no. I have tried this in 2021 and 2022 and the performance just wasnt there for me. Also I have seen this being sold in Argos and TK Maxx here in the UK and thats doesnt speak niche.

I recently got a bottle on sale from Costco for $260. For me it lasts a long time and is fairly strong. At that price it was worth it. At $495 retail...nah.

it’s not worth it….to many good clones, and personally I don’t think any perfume should be over $250.
I understand totally Brandon. It all comes down to what you consider worth it.
I would probably change my opinion if Creed didn’t have batch inconsistencies. If I was creed I wouldn’t rush out to make another year’s supply unless the perfuming ingredients were exactly the same, with less production it actually makes sense to be marketed as a niche product and would be more justifiable @ $400, especially if the fragrance was only re-released every 3-5 years.

Hey I was told that the creed boxes dont come wrapped in cellophane. The one I purchased using your discount/link did… is Vendba a legit seller of creed? because im starting to think not and if so I wouldn’t be telling people to buy from them. I paid $300 for something that is very questionable right now.
They are 100% legit. Which frag did you grab and what’s the batch code?
@@gerardgeorge creed aventus batch code F000213. It came wrapped in cellophane. Idk if that's something new or the company is doing after the fact.
@@ashtonamc1 so it all depends on the market the fragrance was sourced. Depending on the market some have cellophane some don’t. Some US authorized dealers are asked to remove the cellophane if they receive it with it. However not all are asked and not all do it. Venba offers not only an authenticity guarantee but a 15 day return policy. They are also recognized as a trusted source in creed groups.
@@gerardgeorge this is my first bottle of creed so I was freaking out with all the info. I used your link/discount code and am happy I did. I emailed the company and the owner literally called me within the hour and explained the new batch numbers, the cellophane issue, and how he sources his product for such a great price. My bad I sounded so disgruntled but I'm absolutely happy at my purchase and that you would take the time out your day to reply to my concerns. Thanks again man have a great weekend. Let me say this to you, right on your face, you are an paid influencer. You are providing discount code to get your money. Here is the right review, don’t listen to this guy and don’t buy creed, they don’t last. Keep refreshing, get any batch code, it don’t last more than 38 min. Do the test, after 38 mins it start disappearing, not fading but disappearing. Man go get your nose tested.
Appreciate your feedback Jawaria. I do get a small commission from sales but I've been completely transparent about that. I'm growing the channel so anything I make goes right back into the channel. Equipment, product, my time, etc. I'm passionate about fragrance just like you which I assume to be the case because you are here. Also, I will NEVER recommend a fragrance that I don't personally use or enjoy. Lastly we just flat out disagree on Creed. I own a few bottles of creed that I paid for myself that I recommenced because my experience with them has been great. My Aventus is a 2021 batch that lasts all day on me. It sounds like you've had a terrible experience with Creed maybe you should start a RUclips channel and make that your first video.

I’m just here to make new comers aware of the things which influencer do to them. It’s your business I understand but don’t damage others. A little bit here n there missing thing can be balanced but what you are doing is shoving that product down to someone’s throat. Creed was never been a long lasting perfume which ever batch code you are talking about. It’s max time is 2 and half hour but recent batch do not last longer than 38 min, test yourself. Set the timer n check, if I’m wrong than I’m willing to do whatever you say. But don’t put a dent in someone’s pocket, silence is better than encouraging that this is overwhelming product. N by the way 38 mins of creed is only on fresh skin, right after your shower. On fabric n non non fresh skin, forget about those 38 mins too. Test it n prove me wrong.
I have a F002090 batch 2024. But i can smel it on my skin at least 8 hours... My wife and children can smel me all day long...

Gents, don't buy into the HYPE!!! Keep your 450 bucks in your pocket and get a cheaper but long lasting alternative. I bought an aventus in 2021 and it does not last 5 minutes on my skin much more on my clothes! You have to literally pour the entire bottle on your self for the scent to last 1 hour😂😂😂 What a total RIP-OFF!!!

This visdeo is spot on. I have all the so called clones and none of them actually really smells like creed. If you know you know!!! Would you buy a fake Rolex? If so then.....the clones are for you... this is an amazing scent !!!!
