Research & Innovation Office Faculty Fellows inspired and informed the Boulder community during CU Boulder’s 2023 Research & Innovation Week. In this talk, “Big-Tent Climate Action: The Need to Get Beyond "Us" and "Them" to Get Real and Take Action on Climate Change,” Dr. Matthew Burgess (Environmental Studies; CIRES) shares the story of his personal evolution from exuberant young student to a more pragmatic, bridge-building academic seeking realistic solutions to climate challenges.
