@@Killdeer25 MAMAMOO members are taking their turn to release their solo songs and focusing on their own projects at the moment. Moonbyul's album will be out on 20 Feb. Solar is not actively in a musical as the female lead (as Esmeralda in Notre Dame de Paris), and having a birthday meet (small gathering) on 21 Feb. She has just mentioned today that she's preparing her solo album and it is expected to be out before/during summer (her words, though anything could happen). Wheein will be having her solo concert on 24 Feb, and will be releasing a song WHEE on 15 Feb in time for the concert. As for Hwasa, she's the quietest recently, but we've had news/pictures that she's in the recording room, and she's also preparing for her full album (and her CEO PSY mentioned for us to wait for Hwasa's solo concert soon) Sooooo... 2024 is basically solo albums feat. concerts, and once this round of solo projects are done, we should be able to get an OT4 by then!! Also, we Moomoos will never worry about the girls breaking apart, because they love MAMAMOO more than Moomoos, and they have mentioned forever, anywhere, and everywhere, that MAMAMOO Will Continue. :D
As a fan the whole thing actually felt like a little call out. Kinda felt like a fan song with Byulie's signature teasing. That first verse sounded like word vomit, though it's kinda growing on me. The girls did say they felt that HIP pushed them to mainstream popularity but then they didn't maintain it. I don't want them to hit mainstream again with RBWs current PR though cause it's looking pretty awful. Fan theory is they're all releasing full albums(then maybe solo con) after WheeIn started it last October.
@@Killdeer25 They did. They're very much open to their fans so we can actually get clear answers with serious stuff like this. I can't remember exactly where. But they spoke about it and even did an individual timeline graph thing where I think all of them placed HIP as the highest peak. 2 I think showing ups and downs since HIP, one going down then stagnating and one just downhill. With Hwasa and WheeIn's contract finishing last year, they have been reassuring fans multiple times in multiple ways and places that they'll stay together. Saying the world tour was a new beginning, saying they have actually talked this time around(cause they didn't the first contract renewals). But that they'll be focusing on individual activities for the time being. Hence the full album and solo con theories. They've been on air saying no plans for 10th anniversary this year. Maybe that's where the worry comes from for some fans. ohh! And the fact that MoonSun's contract is expiring in the same timeframe. But they have a tendency to lie about things like that so that sentence coming from them is 50/50. But common consensus is they'll release something as Mamamoo but we don't know what that something is.
@@Killdeer25 RBW's CEO mentioned in the MAMAMOO documentary that the girls were supposed to perform in coachella back in 2020 and that that was supposed to be the start of getting MAMAMOO to go global (context: HIP was released in end 2019), but it was cancelled due to that virus that went global instead. And sadly, RBW literally just dropped the ball in trying to get them global and never tried again since then
@@hq3727 I think they decided to stop trying after the end of their initial contract with the company stating they won't be focusing on Mamamoo anymore after they opened the company to the public(personally thought that was a stupid or at the very least a questionable idea since they're known as Mamamoo's company but what do I know). I've seen people say that Solar said she pushed for the world tour to happen. Now people are saying Mamamoo isn't even in RBWs website. So there's the question of "How?", "Why" and "What's next?". And for the fans who despise the company for it to go under after Mamamoo leaves 😂

I'm a 빗 (we can add Somebody but that's from a Collab and they didn't really promote it well) is her worst performing TT/single everything else went viral one way or another. After her first viral song the group was asked if they ever get jealous of Hwasa's popularity and they denied it. Saying they only feel pride and happiness for her. They even said that they benefit from the additional attention she brings into the group. So there's really nothing to complain about. I don't think that they were saying it for PR. As they really do look like they take pride in to each other's work as if it's their own.
