Wow you are making This is Total war campaigns look easy. Also wanted tips on how to improve the Barbarian economy for my Iceni campaign as I feel like I hit a wall due to economic situation.
Glad you enjoy the campaigns! For barbarian economy, I usually build a combination of Coin Hoards (400 gold at lvl4), Carnyx Makers (240 gold, +6 PO) and Shrines that give +% wealth from all sources. Look to build 3-4 PO buildings to be able to keep taxes at very high and you should be fine
just found your channel, id really like to see you do these campaigns but in attila total war. Also maybe change the no tier four buildings rule. It would be cool to see all units

Welcome to the channel! I mainly use QoL and graphic mods (list in the description), but if you're looking for overhaul mods, Para Bellum, New World and Wars of the Gods are some of the typically recommended
Is the flaming shot in the rain for naval battles a visual glitch? The game shouldn't allow it because of the rain, but I always just switch to normal shot to make sure. The flaming shot visual bug goes away when I do that. You have more experience, so I want to know your opinion. Love the vids; I stole your naval tactics and embezzling funds strat from you lol. thks
Why don’t you use mercs? Carthage has a large pool of them (including Iberian swordsmen and Balearic slingers). Also there are perks for both generals and dignitaries to make mercs very cheap, almost free I’d say.
Don't worry, we'll use plenty of mercs in this campaign when the time is right! For now, we have no discounts yet and they are just too expensive for our fledgling treasury
It gives fixed amount of income from commerce, trade income is a different type of income. Carthago region has +25% boost to all income from commerce (I believe this is province-wide) so trading ports are even better there
It didn't record a 2h playing session and I had no game save to come back to so it was ruined. This one is on a new PC so it looks and plays better too!

Glad you enjoy the vids! Flaming shots in the rain are just visuals - the default ammo in rain is standard one and you can't change it
