  • Let's dive in to relationships today! Specifically, I am speaking about my marriage and how my husband, Jeremy, and I build a strong relationship together while also managing Chronic Migraine. I hope that this gives you a glimpse into how we handle, grow and cherish our relationship. Compassion, communication and being a team are just the start.
What are some important things you do in your relationship to help navigate chronic illness?

Jeremy is a fantastic helper and husband to you! I’m smiling while listening to how he shops strategically to keep you safer. ☺️ You two are a great team Pamela! ❤️

Thank you so much for posting this. I have just heard about the reasons why my boyfriend and I had such a crazy time during the past 14 years - how migraine doesn't just cause pain but also depression. Anxiety. Overwhelm. Violence in our case. I have always felt unworthy when I was faced with his aggressions which as I understand he cannot do anything about/cause helplessness and frustration in him. I have always tried to improve stuff. I am high energy. He is calm and enjoys that. I am discovering the world and live a life of touring musician and curious person. My problem is, he has just left (again...)... leaving me helpless this time.

Sending you so much love - it is so hard and you are definitely not alone! Migraine is very complex and touches each part of life when you have it.
