@@DarkenedCyrus since I am on iPhone and stream through my mac mini...Apples Camera Continuity is perfect inside of streamlabs. Nice and clear 1080 with main back camera. If I can ever find a dummy battery for my Canon, I have considered that as well. But since we are so tiny in the stream this has been more than passable. Keep up the great videos.
Hi thank you for the video, I have just bought a neo, was frustrated with using my sony camera, probably because i did not really know what I was doing tbh. I want to get the most out of the neo while using obs, i have no idea where to start, im a nub. have you done a video on this?
What a disappointment. I love the original Facecam, so much that I bought 2 of them (gave one to my wife), and thought maybe the Neo would be "almost" as good with a bit of fiddling, and be a good choice for my son. After the long wait I was excited to get the Neo, then shocked at how bad it is. The auto "focus" is a joke, and the "auto" white balance is weirdly green, but I expected to manually adjust those anyway. Beyond that the whole image is washed-out and could not be made to look even OK, even after years of experience using Camera Hub's features. I have bought literally $10 webcams that have a better image. Maybe I got a defective unit, but it's not worth messing with a replacement while the original model can still be found at basically the same price as the Neo. It's going back.
@@Creem16 Thanks for the insight. One of the things I like about the original Facecam is the "fixed" focus -- maybe it is never super sharp, but it is fine for me, as it does not go all blurry or "hunt" with pulsing efforts to find focus.
The neo looks much better then the mk2. The mk2 has too much video noise in my opinion, the pro is awesome the best.
That's very useful information. It helps me choose a webcam. Thank you
Many thanks! I needed a caparison video just like this!!😃
You're so welcome!
Glad I found this video on my suggested feed. I was looking to buy the MkII but now I will pass and use my iPhone as my webcam instead.
Thanks for the love! What iPhone will you be using? A couple of options are Camo and Elgato's phone cap software

is the facecam mark 2 the best under 150?
@@Creem16 Haven't tried that one.
@@danmagoo I bought it. Its amazing quality but has no autofocus which is kinda annoying.
