For some reason, no matter how hard I push, that cover refuses to come off. I tried doing it at different angles, twisting it, that thing just will not come off. Am I going to have to pry it off with a screwdriver?

I hope I can articulate the technique I used well enough - What I did was I push the key into that little slot, and while pushing upwards I tilt the tip of the key downwards, so like a see-saw where the end your holding is up, and that did get that piece off without too much force. I hope that made sense, and good luck!
@@humanconvertile nah it was really simple actually, i thought the key was supposed to insert all the way, i didn’t know it was use to pry it open,, besides i had plastic key so it woulda broken off easily
Would there ever be any reason for the physical key to not be working? Mine goes into the key hole fine but won’t turn much at all. I’m thinking I need to pry away my window enough to get a coat hanger to open the door
Hi do you have a fix for my windows? Normally when you open the door from the outside the window drops enough to clear the rubber molding, but when I open my doors it's like the window doesn't drop quick enough, so I dobit in 2 phases, firstly I tug at the door handle then the window drops and only after that I open the door. Do you have a fix for this? Thanks
@@CohwynLaRue Hey, Yes I did. Had someone open the door they had like a little balloon at the side of the window which they pumped with air and opened the car from within, otherwise im afraid theres no other option.

Thanks. It took a few tries but I got it. I did have to push my key in and turn counterclockwise. Maybe there's a slight difference on my '17 CC.

How do you get the hood open when the battery is dead?
Open doors then pull your hood latch.

you have to be very careful with that plastic key as I broke mine trying to open it
This works great if you have that key lol
