- This is a series of 5 parts. It directly follows the 2001 endgame story posted by another channel. The endgame story sets the stage for these clips and has some good L&L history stuff really should watch it if you have't already.. this is what directly follows that. Think it is all pretty self explanatory(after you watch the endgame). Helena going to jail (or so we thought a the time), Laura and Scott an item, L&L..... hmm divorced... but you know a never ending love story. Clips property of ABC and GH.
I find myself watching some of these old LnL stories even though it breaks my heart their final ending. They should have been together forever,

I wish GH stayed like this over the years. I love seeing these old clips. After 2001, this show just seemed to jump the shark (and that’s astounding considering how many changes occurred in 2001 alone). Instead of focusing on the old characters that helped make the show what it was, we would spend the next decade having Carly, Sonny, Jason, Sam, and Courtney shoved down our throats while everyone else either got sidelined or killed off. I’m glad that Frank Valentini has made the show into more of an ensemble during his tenure on the show (even though he does have his faults - though that’s a discussion for another day).
But Genie Francis' performance is INCREDIBLE... and completley worthy of view, though the story is painful.
I will never accept that L & L are divorced. It’s easy for me because I haven’t watched GH for years.

Still makes me so mad that the writers had Lucky burn down this home in 2011. This house meant so much to Laura. Maybe GH just needed to get rid of some of the sets for budget cuts. No mayor's mansion, no brownstone, no Webber house and no Spencer house. WTG GH
I love Denise Alexander's - Lesley's - term of endearment - calling Genie Francis's character- Laura - "Baby". It always comes across sweet and real.
Wow!! All the characters in this. Helena, Stefan, Gia, the other actors that played Nikolas and Lucky...even Roy DeLuca. Seems like yesterday!!!!
Every time I watch this, I think about Nikolas's line, "He let Gia and me go and he didn't have to". That's Cassadine arrogance right there, thinking it was okay for Stavros to hold them captive and nice of him to let them go. That line has always bugged me a bit. But it's a Cassadine trait, so it works on some level.
Luke has the best lines referring to Stavros's demise, "In the whole there is a bottomless pit your freeze dried son fell into it!😂😂😂😂"
Remember Scotty called her a tramp, Wow she is forgiving.

How about Tammy slapped up against the bar, right after Lucky’s funeral when Laura really needed Luke 2 comfort her! That would b tuff 4 me 2 get past!
Yes in deed Laura always had a forgiving heart..... To bad it was for everybody! In the long run it did her no good! JMVHO. Rosie never silent.
They should put out a best of series of Luke and Laura
Indeed they should.. but I don't know if I have this right or not.. I THINK they reused the tape! So no true archive exists.
I think we can truly say that sussezq already put out the best of Luke and Laura! Although, really, anything close to a complete catalogue of beginning to end (like the stuff we don't get from Matuaty2 now that YT took it down) would be a huge seller.

You have done so much already. I would never, ever suppose to ask you any more than I have to post any more than what you have posted already. I wish for you a less crazy life so you can enjoy your LnL more! You, alone, have made my life more bearable with what you have already done. I deffinatlly agree with you.Since 1996 it was horribale for Luke and Laura.I was watching Luke and Laura's vids from 1993 to early 1996 and than I watched the return of the Cassadine and boy could you see the difference.The arrival of the Cassadines totally destroyed the Spencers.The many re-writes they did with Stavros beeing son of helena,than Nikolas who we thought was Stavros tha he was Stefans than he was Stvaros's again.I just can't bare to watch it.

I love the back and forth scenes showing Luke and Laura reflecting while their wonderful music plays in the background. We don't get that anymore. We have to wonder if Laura ever crosses Luke's mind. I miss the windows that give glimpses into their feelings. Notice I didn't say I miss that writer, but some things were well done until he tried to destroy them.

The late 90's was HORRIBLE for L&L!!! This is nothing did you see her with Stefan Cassedine.... poor Luke.. but he was with Felicia.. UGH!!!! A pure mess!!!
I was miserable with Laura kicking him out for associates like Sonny, her romance with Stavros🤮and the problems with Lucky and working through the rape, yet again. Lots of suffering and darkness🤦♀️

I so appreciate your perspective.. but this is a channel devoted to the work of Genie FRancis and Tony Geary.. I love Kin Shriner.. but the channel is about LUke and Laura.
Laura must have be happy to see her Greek mother-in-law in handcuffs, although I read that Helena’s maiden name was Romanov.

Love Luke and Laura. How she could ever associate with Scott after he called her a tramp and tried to interfere with her and Luke....I don’t get it! I’d also like to know why Luke, who always complained about his dads drinking, turns to Crown Royal whenever things get complicated...

I love TG. But he wasn't exactly gentlemanly for, uh, raping Scotty's wife. I think that's worse than the "tramp" statement. But L & L got on with it & had their phenomenal wedding, so there you go!

@sussezq First, thank you SO SO much for putting all of these together! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched and rewatched LnL beginning videos since I found your channel! LOL My teen years were spent running home to watch it right after school! I’m confused now tho cuz I missed some years (kids of my own by then), so I know Lucky poisoned Luke, but where are any clips of how it went from that to him with Roy and Laura in the cabin and he’s confused about the year, etc. Any ideas of where to look?

I'm sorry, I didn't want to intrude, but there isn't a channel for Laura and Scotty, and I thought it was necessary to acknowledge the differences. Luke and Laura had their time. It was awesome, as was Kin's bad man behind blue eyes phase. I don't think it will ever be duplicated.
Not for nothing anne..but this is my channel it shouldn't be anyhting but what I want it to be. If you would like a channel abou those other characters you should start one. I am sure a lot of other people would appreciate it... but I have enough views here to know that plenty appreciate this channel just the way it is.

This is an FYI for past and current YT LNL watchers - House of Cassadine has posted the full Endgame storyline up to this first Sussezq video! You will be able to see the whole Endgame - including Luke being drugged up, etc. It was posted 6/8/2021, and I just finished watching in 6/24/21. 55 videos of nothing but Endgame!!!!!

Yes this is a very hard playlist to watch... the ending is horrific... just to warn you if you didn't watch Genie Francis' exit in 2002.
This was when GH was good. It got horrible when their daughter grew up and today I think the writer changed

This is most certainly true to form. But Luke and Laura could have work it out. Damm if it’s notScotty putting his damm nose into there Altair’s or Felecia or just somebody else damm I hate this it hurts just so much. Amin tears here. Rosie

@wj5mjk She wasn't killed.. she was being held captive by the Cassedines, and under a drug induced state... you have to watch the 94-96 stuff.

@sussezq Hi! I didnt' want to be rude to her , but it just took me off guard that someone would tell you what to do with your channel. If I were to go on channels that feature Joe and Ann and Leslie and Rick and demand L&L I would be out of line. Oh well.... I'm just very protective of you and Mat!! LOL!!!! Hugs! :-)
@fannyanne2 Uhhh... It's suz's channel!!!!! If you check further there are MANY MANY different channels to choose from for all the characters! I LOVE the channel and so do many like me! If you dont' lik eLuke and Laura you dont' have to watch! You can start your own!
@ChloejanePhotographY This is the first playlist I did... and I had volume issues ... so I bought an amp and added into the process.. the other playlists are fine... this one needs to be re-done. It is on the to do list.. but not sure I will get to it before summer honestly. If you put in headphones and crank the volume on both your computer and YT it is audible. HOpe that helps.. if not than maybe start with a different playlist and come back to this one later. Sorry

Luke & Laura had a strange kind of love/lust connection but they never fully and completely understood each other. It's why they eventually imploded. I think if Luke hadn't entered the picture, her and Scotty could have ended up together.

Seemed Scotty truly changed from the bitter, hateful and revengeful ex he was. Granted Laura did do him wrong I recalled. Lied and covered up the rape

Scotty Baldwin a "good guy" again? I got used to him being a bad guy and a jerk over the years.
Scotty didn't become a bad guy until Luke ran off with his wife! That was enough to make any man bitter. He was a nice guy with his hands full with law school and a teenage bride.
I always felt bad for him.
