The only thing that connects Dragonball Super to Dragonball Z is Dragonball Heroes and its multiple timelines explanation. And I personally love all of. Well not soo much the original series when Goku first meet Bulma & Crillon. But I love Z/Super/GT/Heroes.

I love Videl's GT design and character, she's so plain and boring in Super. Also I really loved this scene, he swallows it to stop Omega from being full power earlier, and then it comes out of his forehead.
