While doing some research I discovered an interesting coincidence, Auditorio de Communication y Periodismo del Tec ( Communication and Journalism auditorium of the tec de Monterrey). Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, also known as Tecnológico de Monterrey or just Tec, is a private research university based in Monterrey, Mexico. This is where The Warning presented the songs from Escape The Mind, it is also where Rudy studied. The presentation show was 18 months before Rudy met the band.
@pepe_612 the channel" It's not me it's you" has the warning first live performance video as the Warning on his channel the one you have on the timeline .
It's fascinating to study the path of anyone who followed a dream and became successful. These ladies took an arduous obstacle course, and are starting to really make an impact. Listening to the *Escape the Mind* EP is always amazing. KIDS made that! Wow.
As someone without an artistic or creative bone in my body it is so far beyond my realm of understanding. They were gifted with a talent, we were gifted with them.
This will be a good reference library for anything related to the Warning rock band. even for the long time fans, If they forget things they can come here and refresh their memory.
@@pepe_612 I watch the reaction videos of the Warning and a lot of the fans in the comments write some fallacies and incorrect information even I have made mistakes luckily some of the OG fans correct me. So this channel will be a great resource Pepe. Thank you
About a year and a half ago, I came across The Warning on RUclips. I went very quickly down the rabbit hole. And this state has been going on since then. But the following question came to my mind after just a few days. So, it would be interesting to know if Luis had heard of the Hungarian teacher László Polgár, the father of the chess genius Polgár sisters? According to his theory, every child has a little genius inside them, and the responsbility of adult world (parents and the environment) is to bring this genius out of them. His principle is that you have to find a special area, make the child love it, almost obsess about it. László Polgár used his 3 daughters to prove his theory to the world. The Polgár girls learned foreign languages at the age of 3, and as adults they speak 5-8 languages. At a very young age, their father started their specialisation in chess and their intensive education. The rest is history: 2 of the Polgár sisters became world chess champions (Zsuzsa and Judit, and three together won the Chess Olympiad as part of the Hungarian national team. The story of the Villarreal sisters seems remarkably similar.
I have given this comment great consideration . I will say I have never seen any reference to this theorem in any published interview. And somewhat to the contrary I have seen many interviews where the sisters state that their parents only acted in a supportive role in their endeavors. The similarity between Mr Polgar and Mr Villarreal is that they both had a background in the field of endeavor that their children exceled in. I think there may be something to be said about the environment that children are brought up in that effects their future. Being surrounded by all things chess or all things music may guide a persons journey. But with music there needs to be an innate talent and physical ability to hear and identify sounds and tones that not everyone has. I am tone deaf and 50 years of trying to play a guitar has not made me a musician. A talent I will never posses. No matter how much I surround myself with music or study. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much for your time and subscription, it does help these videos get to more people. I could not agree with you more about ETM. And I have to say Eternal Love is just so special for me. Something about Dany's voice in that song just is so perfect.
What a great job. I really congratulate you for these videos that will be a reference to the beginning of the band. I have been following them since 2017. You managed to put my brain in order. Greetings from France.
Thank you for both your time and very nice comment. I am attempting to get this right. If you have any suggestions for upcoming episodes or if I get something wrong please let me know. Welcome aboard France!
Thank you for such a supportive comment, it has taken me a year to properly understand their story. I hope these videos help others understand how hard they have worked to reach their goals, and how lucky we are to be able to witness their journey. I wish I could produce these videos faster, but I am very new at this and I try to have 2 sources for any information I put out. Thank you!
They talk about how they came up with the name of the band on the Ellen show too. There they also mention a couple other ideas they had. Pau wanted "Lip Balm" but little 10 year old Ale thought that was "too girly" so she suggested "Blackout" DPA also talked a bit about how Escape The Mind came about in their 2018 storytelling concert at Agua Fria. It is in Spanish but there are videos with English subtitles on The Warning Army channel.
Thank you so so much for sharing that information. I will post links to those in the Episode 3 playlist and or in the description of this video. You are so kind!

When I started trying to learn more about them I had a hard time putting it together, so here we are. Please feel free to share anything you think would help. Thank you for your time!
That was a beautiful piece of work, great job assembling all those details. It's no wonder they turned out to be three of the nicest people anywhere, they were always like that. Good work. ❤
The clip about the band name does not mention what I saw elsewhere that it was Ale who proposed to use the name of their imaginary album (I remember this as her saying that the other propositions are not fit for a rock band). I think the way Dany encourages her to answer this question confirms that story. Also her face when the issue is first raised (even as she mentions Pau when speaking).
