    Perfect!! I was looking for JUST this!! Easy and concise. By any chance, can you show how to reduce the clusters (dots) if you have TOO many values that is congesting the chart?

    Hello :) I'm wondering if you can show us how to add a horizontal line for the average for each of the colour groups (for example y = 0.2 for the 'new' tenure category in your video)

    Hi dear, I have very appreciate your video. I have crated the same plot but in this way the graph will change by changing the order of the table. I would like to know if there is a method to create a similar plot but avoiding the problem od changing order of the table. Please, can you share any suggestion? Many thanks

    Hello, I hope you are well. I am writing to you because I have a question. I would like to know how I can color by 8 categories, instead of the 3 I currently have, in this data. Manually I am adding series by series, but if my NCM values change, the cells would no longer correspond to the country. Is there any way to set an IF function at the time of making the graph, in the part of X and Y values? Thanks!

    Hello, this is a great help but I noticed when two salaries are the same it only shows them in one colour, is there any way to correct this so that I can see both Colours? I’m trying to show male/female outliers in salary data but the males colour are showing only when the two salaries are the same for both male and female. Thanks

    I have to add a trend line for all the points together. How can I do that?

    What if I want to include the job name (if such a thing existed in the data) to show up when I hover the dots.

  • @glatisant74
    @glatisant74 6 месяцев назад +1

    easier if you rearrange your data:
    1st column : tenure in job (X axis)
    2nd column: salary for grade A employees (Y axis series 1: shows salary if grade is A, otherwise 0, you do it with an if)
    3rd column: salary for grade B employees (Y axis series 2: shows salary if grade is B, otherwise 0, you do it with an if)
    4th column: salary for grade C employees (Y axis series 3: shows salary if grade is C, otherwise 0, you do it with an if)
    then you select all 4 columns (including header) and throw a scatterplot on it. The scatterplot will interpret the leftmost column as X axis variable, and all the other 3 as different series for Y, all 3 will automatically receive different colors

    Hi , first of all i would to thank you for your precious time 🙏.
    i have a problem i wish you can help me to solve it.
    My problem with the size of the font of data validation list , i am using macron to hide some rows depending in the value of the cell of the data validation list. I tried to linked combo box to the cell of data validation list but macrons didn't work .
    I would be thankfull if you can shot a video about this problem.

      hi Ameen - is there a reason that you can't change the font size in the cell directly?

    By the way, I am wondering if you could share with us if you have done any presentation, includes all the useful charts in one single PPT.
    It is simply too many useful charts and I don’t know how to start 😂 and how to make it simple and persuasive.
    I mean, those charts / dash board are useful for us to dig deeper, but if we prepare presentations to senior management, I don’t think they want to see those dots and numbers.....
    Do share with us 👍👍👍

      Hi Katharina - i do have a playlist focusing on visualization which you can check out Excel Charts Data Visualization goo.gl/2ao6BP
      I don't really possess the charts that I did for my clients in the past, but yes you are right there are definitely more things i can share on how to present good visuals to senior mgmt. I can definitely make videos on this topic in the future. =)

    This is cool but SPSS can do all of this in about 10 clicks and its more useful for larger data sets

    • @CariprosHRAnalytics
      @CariprosHRAnalytics  11 месяцев назад +1

      100%, but keep in mind not all has access to SPSS, and not all has the time to invest in learning a new tool. Also not all needs to solve this problem for a large data set. I try to help people by enabling them to solve their problems with the most feasible way in the shortest time possible, so that their time can be better spent elsewhere in their life. 😀
