Six flags over texas in the same tier as Hershey, kings island, SDC, and magic mountain has got to be a joke
It is an incredibly underrated park, though it is probably the weakest of the parks you listed.
I was thinking the same thing. Glad my home park is Bush Gardens Tampa
@@ThemeParkAvenue Over Texas is my home park and it definitely has a unique collection of attractions but it's missing something. It just doesn't have the depth in the thrill department as the other parks in the A tier. Also don't forget that it's taking 4 years to put up a power splash🤦♂️
@@mariokartwii123100 okay, I’ll agree that the Aquaman delay is a major issue. I like the rides more than most overall.
What makes Magic Mountain a joke to you?
KI is S tier. Especially this year in their 50th anniversary. Great food and operations. KI is closing at 10pm all summer long. They even did a couple midnight closures. While CP was closing at 8pm until mid June.
After revisiting, KI is absolutely S tier.
Absolutely. Went in 2022. Had as good a time as I did at Cedar Point last year.
Having just been at Michigans Adventure, I can recommend it solely due to Shivering Timbers. No other woodie compares and it carries the entire park out of the bottom tier to C tier. I could marathon that all day.
Great video! I like your rankings. I'd put Kings Island higher up on mine though
First time I've disagreed with several of your choices, but it's your list. Kings Island and SDC are easily S tier and Sea World Orlando is one of my overall favorite parks period. It sounds like it's been sometime since you've been there, but the appearance is top notch, coaster lineup strong, and animal exhibits some of the best. I have BGT and SWO very close, with the edge to BGT because they have more coasters. Having just gone to,BGW, KD, and Carowinds last week, it's easy to see how much I like SWO overall.
Silver Dollar City might be S tier but I have to think on that about the overall experience. It is a beautiful park and there are good rides and top tier food, but the experience was different from what I’m used to in a park in a way that makes it hard to compare. I liked it, but it wasn’t the same type of fun I’ve had at the S tier parks. It’s been too long for Kings Island and for SeaWorld it has been a bit as well. I just didn’t have a great experience despite great coasters. I’m surprised this was the first video you disagreed with a lot because I think I’m usually near impossible to agree with lol.
Totally agree.
Just visited Seaworld mid July. B tier at best. The rides are only decent because they are almost all B&M’s. Mako was good, but kind of a let down; even in the back row. Ice Breaker is Meh. Manta is decent. Kraken is really good for a floorless. That’s legit a solid “meh” lineup. Fortunately they are adding more.
Seaworld Orlando, even with their new coaster has very few coasters, I would not by any means call the lineup strong. It is beautiful and the shows are great as are the displays. I love the restaurant in the shark exhibit with the aquarium bar.
Kings Island is definitely S tier now that I’ve revisited.
omg did u try the giant swing at cw? its so fun. also one day i rode leviathan 20 times in a day.
will there be a remake of this now that ya have been to all the cedar fair parks?
Yes but I have one more park to visit.
While I have very different taste from you (I generally prefer theme parks over amusement parks), I respect your ranking and it was fun to watch. I think your A tier will be a bit controversial for some but you can always expect that kind of thing for these tier list. Cool list.
Thanks! The A tier is definitely surprising on both ends of the spectrum.
Great tours and share.
What's This Music Called
Seeing my home park Great America as an S tier up there with cedar point is definitely surprising. Definetly the best bang for you buck in terms of Rollercoaster to ticket price. Any rides in particular make you give it that placement?
I love most of Great America’s lineup. I’ve made a few videos about the park and while the best roller coaster there isn’t an elite ride, I love Raging Bull, Goliath, X-Flight, MaxxForce, American Eagle, Batman the Ride, Superman Ultimate Flight, Viper, and Vertical Velocity. The park is also atmospheric and a pleasure to walk around.
Really cool seeing Fiesta Texas so high, I feel lucky living so close and being able to go there almost every other weekend cause it has a really great atmosphere and solid coasters. I definitely need to hit up Cedar Point and Busch Gardens Tampa, they might as well be religious pilgrimages for coaster enthusiasts at this point lol.
Fiesta Texas is a beautiful park. I’m even making a full analysis of the theming. I’d love to ride Cliffhanger.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yea rode Cliffhanger first day and it’s really great, I don’t think it’s too big a difference from other dive coasters but for people like myself who have never been on a dive coaster that first drop is bonkers.
Yes fiesta Texas a top park and there future is only getting better ❤️💯💯
That laser show at night is just epic plus having two RMCs... quite nice. The rest of the coaster line up isn't great IMO but the park is just so beautiful. I'm not as big a fan of Superman as other people are though. It's probably my #3 floorless and I don't really like floorless coasters much.
Fiesta Texas sucks now. They don’t let the rides run. Half the park is closed. Some of the rides need bad repairs. The operations don’t make sense and the food used to be waaaaay better. Any day 7 of 18 rides will be down or on massive delays. They don’t give adequate shade and the entire park is pretty much operated by kids and it stinks the place literally stinks……
Haven't been to most of these parks, but been to 4 of them. All the Texas parks plus SDC. I agree with your list as far as the ones ive been to for sure. Bucket list for me, i really want to go to Cedar Point at some day, it never ceases to come up in the coaster world.
I hope you get the chance to get to Cedar Point some day. I think you'll love it.
Good job your vid’s poping off
I’m curious on where you would place the Disney and Universal parks.
Islands of Adventure would be S, Universal Studios Orlando would be C, and I’m not sure about others.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Thanks for the response. 😁
You should do a tier list ranking the Disney and universal parks in the us
I love that idea, but I haven’t been to Hollywood Studios or the California parks.
@@ThemeParkAvenue hollywood studios is definitely a must do
@@ThemeParkAvenue Hollywood studios is the most thrilling of the Disney world parks. Not calling it a thrill park but does have the most thrill rides
I agree. That would be interesting. IOA is definitely in S tier for me.
Love the house music in the background lol
Im guessing only been to hershey on the weekend bc m-wed you can do the whole coaster lineup (minus that trash laff track) in under 4 hrs pretty easily
I went on a Wednesday. It was still the most crowded park I've been to all year.
@@ThemeParkAvenue wow yeh you def had a bad experience, i do the tuesday afternoon usually and can hop on mostly everything, fahrenheit gets tricky but everything else esp the 1-2 (storm runner, skyrush)in the park are usually walk on or close to it
Dude your intro was with the beat of the song, not gonna lie, it was pretty hype
That was unintentional, but I appreciate that! Thank you.
You should do one with the Disney and universal parks I’m interested to see where you would place them.
I’ve only been to 5 Disney/Universal parks and only 2 of those were recent, so it may be tough.
I Agree With Everything Except For Hershey Park Sox Flags Over Georgia And Seaworld San Antonio n being So Low Good Job Eric!
Next time you go to Kings Island, I promise it will be top tier for you, mystic and Orion and great, Orion gets too much hate I feel
I might go back soon and I think you are right.
Agreed. Especially this year. Their 50th Anniversary. KI has been amazing with food and operations.
CP operations have been lacking.
@@MrKillerRC 100 percent, ops were not on the KI level, and man SV went down on so many times! But last day there she ran 3 trains flawlessly all day!
Update: based on a September visit, you were right.
I wasn't expecting much of Dollywood when I first went, I thought it was going to be something gimmicky. But I went a few weeks ago, and quite honestly, it's now my all time favorite. 😅 In addition to an atmosphere WAY more pleasant than Kings Island, the Roller Coasters are actually pretty unique. The Wild Eagle is absolutely amazing, Thunderhead is so intense for a wooden Roller Coaster that it's epic, and Lightning Rod is quite possibly the coolest Roller Coaster ever. So I'd highly recommend it.
I’ll definitely go one day. Thank you for the info.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yeah, I also need to go to Cedar Point some day too.
@@FloppyFish definitely wait a little on that. The park is a bit of a disaster this year.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Oh, okay, that's good to know, thank you for telling me. In terms of Dollywood, I think you would likely have it in the A Tier judging from where you put Kings Island, but yeah, it depends on what you like in an Amusement Park.
@@FloppyFish Kings Island is actually S tier for me now after a recent visit.
I agree with most of this list, but I do have a little bit of bias with over Georgia since it is my home park, but nice list!
I know you haven’t been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, but I just have to say (in my personal opinion) it absolutely outshines the Tampa park in almost every aspect. It’s definitely worth visiting one day. The “one up” that I’d give to the Tampa park is Iron Gwazi, but besides that BGW is the better park imo.
It’s also only an hour away from King’s Dominion. So it’s definitely worth vacationing there for like 4 or 5 days. Spend a day at BGW then another day at King’s Dominion, then head to colonial Williamsburg for the sites, dining, tours, etc.
Great video btw, this is a great list. I’ve never been to Six Flags Fiesta and the more good things I hear about it the more I want to check it out.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I went to Williamsburg a decade ago and it was a nice park. It’s kind of cool that I can say I rode the original DarKastle.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yo! YES! DarKastle was amazing!
I can’t wait for the new indoor coaster where DarKastle was!
Definitely enjoying the content. I just subscribed, keep up the awesome work.
@@kboi1170 I will do so. Thanks for your support.
I agree
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yeah, I was very sad when KarKastle was shut down. I don't understand why they did that.
When you put great america in s it made my day
Yay! It’s such an awesome park.
No Holiday World or Dollywood? Dude you need to get to this region of the country those are among my most favorite parks I have ever been to. Kentucky Kingdom is also very good, much better than one would expect
I’d love to go to those parks. Holiday World is a possibility.
@@ThemeParkAvenue If it's a possibility do Kentucky Kingdom as well. Louisville is only about an hour and half away from Holiday World and it's very easy to do both parks in one day because of the time zone change (Louisville is in eastern time and Santa Claus is in central time)
where is lagoon it’s a pretty substantially larger park than holiday is in it’s collection and imo is the second biggest independent park in between hershey and holiday
Also nice list I approve
It just wasn’t on this template, but I haven’t been anyway.
@@ThemeParkAvenue ah I see
agreed. lagoon is good and another one missing is Silverwood. for sure worth checking out.
If you haven't been to kings island since before 2017 then you might as well say you haven't been. It's cool you still put them in tier A but you haven't rode 2 of their top 3 coasters. Your opinion on them could sway your opinion one way or another
Good point. I was considering excluding it, but the only reason I made this list was because people wanted to know what tiers I would put Cedar Fair parks in. I appreciate your advice, though I do think people looking to see if they want to go to Kings Island will still go if they see it in A tier.
Agreed. Plus Beast being retracked.
The park is S tier now, you were right.
CP is my home park and the only park I’ve been too lol. I used to take it for granted what a nice park i can visit 4+ times a year.
It’s an awesome park. If that were the only one I’d been to I imagine I would be disappointed by trips to other parks.
@@ThemeParkAvenue that’s what I’m mildly afraid is going to happen once I get around to visiting other parks. Idk when that will happen tho I don’t travel too often, which is unfortunate because I wanted to get to CGA before its closed but at the moment I don’t think I’ll be able to 😔
Went to cedar point and kings island a couple weeks ago for multiple days for both, they are so elite man
Honestly, with the new Dive coaster and wonder woman it should make Six Flags Fiesta Texas an S tier now.
It probably is, but I’ll have to go back to see.
It is already there park only getting better with Jeffery
I respect you putting great adventure over parks like kings island and Hershey. I fell like that park and great America get flamed because they're six flags parks, and many enthusiasts hate six flags even if they don't have a valid reason. So its awesome to see no bias being put in by the overall chain.
Absolutely. Those parks get hate because they are Six Flags but I had almost as much fun at those parks as I do at Cedar Point.
No no god please no
Kings island should be in s mystic Timbers is best gci that I rode Orion is underrated. I’m not hating on six flags it’s just ki deserve s
that background music is soooo catchy
My home Six flags great America was put in S tier. Gracias
It deserves it. Definitely an underrated park.
@@ThemeParkAvenue I worked there before I moved to florida
great video eric i think mine in cedar fair so far are
number 7 Dorney Park
Number 6 Kings Dominion
Number 5 Knotts Berry Farm
Number 4 Canadas Wonderland
number 3 Carowinds
number 2 Kings island
number 1 Cedar Point
Magic Mountain should've definitely been in S tier as well as Knotts Berry farm, especially over cedar point. And Yes I do think Magic Mountain and Knotts are the best Cedar and Sixflags parks of the whole chain. Magic Mountain has the best ride lineup of any park listed on that list and Knotts does amazing with the themeing!. I dont think Great America or GA should've been over magic mountain.
Have you been to al of these park because I couldn't agree with you less lol. Magic Mountain has an s tier coasater line up but the park itself is D tier. Great America and Cedar point a far superior parks. Cedar Point is very much like Knott's but just a bit better at everything except the Haunt.
i agree with the list, and people really dont understand six flags america is getting better, and im glad you mentioned that. im on the edge of six flags great america being the best or second best park, the thing i agree with the most is magic mountain being super overrated because the rides are mostly good but there are just bad rides at the bottom which dont get thought of because its so top heavy, and compared to great america its round up isnt as good.
Magic Mountain is flawed and some people just praise it a bit too much in my opinion.
@@ThemeParkAvenue especially six flags itself
Also knotts mad slept on. It has the best atmosphere and theming in the chain
Kings Island is definitely S tier. Over Texas is B tier at best & Carowinds is a strong C tier. Over Georgia would be a solid B tier & SeaWorld Orlando would go in the S tier for me. And SDC is S tier too.
Carowinds is C and King's Island is S? 3 grades apart? No way they are 3 grades apart.
@@gametime2473 Carowinds has a great top 4 no doubt about it but everything else is complete garbage. They also have a weak flat ride lineup and not a single water ride. They are easily 3 tiers apart.
Kings Island is definitely S tier based on my revisit.
Six flags Mexico can compare to Six flags Fiesta Texas, its a beautiful park too and the theming its on point!
Good to know!
yes bgt 4l i go every weekend i live 10 minutes away
It’s an amazing home park and I’m glad you like it so much.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yup, great video i liked and subscribed
Rank it in the tier as well, like the best in the left and worst right
I was considering that but I just don’t know how exactly they would rank.
The kings island debate is weird while I think Orion is an elite coaster many do not so if Orion isn’t good than what does kings island have to compete with a Cedar Point or Magic Mountain
Six Flags Great Adventure in my opinion gets S Tier.
It’s definitely great and earned S tier from me.
mine too! i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE el toro & i go every other day
A little generous with Hershey Park but the majority of this list is spot on.
Thanks! I guess the abundance of thrilling rides made me overlook some parts of Hersheypark.
i liked holiday world in santa clause indiana. at the time they had drink tents that if you got a wrist band you drank free all day. only soda and water
I went to the park recently and loved it. The soda was free for all.
Hersheypark gonna be S tier when they get the RMC
Yeah
Interesting. I stick to MM. They have a great variety of coasters.
That is true. I like the park but don’t love it like some do.
@@ThemeParkAvenue been to over texas and new england. Very disappointing.
Love that ur repping great america! It deserves a giga coaster and then everyone will shut up
It’s a very awesome park. I wish it got more credit for sure.
No Kennywood?
I haven’t been there and I didn’t create the template.
I would put bush gardens in A tier but not S it’s a Kings Island tier park
My S tier parks would be Cedar Point, Silver Dollar City, Holiday World, Busch Gardens Tampa
My A tier parks would be Busch Gardens Williamburg, Dollywood, King's Island, Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds
My B tier park list would be a mile long so i'll end it there, lol.
Where is kennywood
Not sure, but I didn’t make the template.
Hershey is S tier
It’s wonderful, but I don’t have the same attachment to Hershey as S tier.
No kennywood???
Haven’t been
Hershey took out the wildcat? Why? That was a fun wooden coaster.
I loved it but it closed for good yesterday
it’s confirmed to be getting RMC’d
@@everythinghershey6366 what does RMC'd mean?
@@jpgiles1725 a company called (r)ocky (m)ountain (c)onstruction comes in and puts steel track on a wooden coaster and makes it a hybrid
@@everythinghershey6366 oh, ok. Kinda like the steel vengeance
I know it’s not in the same class but why doesn’t anyone ever rank the Disney/universal parks when doing all the other companies
This template was pre-made and didn’t include them. I also haven’t been to Disney parks in a while, some not at all.
BGW??
I haven’t been in a long time so it was in the Haven’t Been tier
Busch gardens Tampa is definitely an s tier if you didn’t put it in s I would be mad
I would've waited until visiting those parks in the "Not Visited" section first before making the video. Seeing them in the "Not Visited" section rather than one of the sections makes it a lot less interesting.
Well fortunately, I've visited quite a few more this year so when I remake this, it will look very different.
It would be nice if your voice and the music weren't competing with each other.
I’m sorry that was a problem for you, but I’ve never had this complaint and the music is quieter than usual.
Hershey definitely s now with wildcats revenge
Probably
Bro should of put the disney parks, they still amusement parks even tho they theme parks
I didn’t create this tier list. To make a template I need a Twitter account, and I don’t have that.
Hershey is S. In my opinion with wildcats revenge they finally beat cedar point
I went before that opened, but that’s fair.
no way carowinds & hershey park are in c tier😂😂 after rmc , hershey will have top 5 coaster line ups , let carowinds get a few more coasters so do they
You missed Gilroy Gardens, Indiana Beach, and Kentucky Kingdom
I didn't create the template, but I haven't been to those parks anyway.
When you log into com: 6 flags or six flags u will c I want a fun
I thought you were gonna shit on my home park discovery kingdom ngl😂😂
It’s underrated. I love it honestly.
how tf did u put GA and Gadv in s tier but not out KI or HP in S tier!??💀💀
It’s been a while for Kings Island and I’m sure a revisit would bump it up. And this is something I am hesitant to say because of your username: Hersheypark’s roller coasters did not quite live up to S tier and I had more fun at the top Six Flags parks.
@@ThemeParkAvenue that’s totally understandable. I agree Hershey after next year is gonna have an S tier coaster lineup but they really need to get more thrilling flats and some park touch ups imo.
Kings Island is definitely S tier now.
Where’s Bay Beach amusement park?🤔
That wasn’t included on the template, but I haven’t been there anyway.
@@ThemeParkAvenue oh okay
Where’s the love for Silverwood 😔😔
I've never been.
Wonderland belongs in A tier
In hindsight I agree, but B tier is still a spot for great parks.
Bro did not put magic mountain and over Texas in the same tier 😂
Over Texas underrated, Magic Mountain is overrated.
I know its your list and all but to say that Fiesta Texas is more beautiful than any of the Busch Gardens or SeaWorld parks was a choice. Lol
Have you been to Fiesta Texas? It is absolutely stunning in its scenery and queues. I’m actually surprised that you disagree with that one, at least compared to SeaWorld Orlando.
@@ThemeParkAvenue I’ve been living in San Antonio for 4 years and i can see Fiesta Texas from my back yard so yes I’ve been. In fact, i have an annual pass. Im also originally from Florida. Ive been to all the Busch Gardens and SeaWorld parks. Fiesta Texas while nice, doesn’t come close.
@@gerardomojica879 interesting. I was blown away by the Fiesta Texas theming and I just didn’t feel that with SeaWorld Orlando. That said, I respect your opinion. I don’t typically debate over theming because of my focus on roller coasters so this was fun.
Com: six flags
Knotts A
Silver dollar city S
I haven’t been in a few years, so maybe you’re right. I definitely like the park but didn’t think it was top tier.
S Tier**
For me:
S: Cedar Point, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Islands of Adventure
A: BG Tampa, BG Williamsburg, Hershey Park, Carowinds, SF Fiesta Texas, SF Great Adventure, SF Great America, Holiday World
B: Kings Dominion, Kings Island, Knotts Berry Farm, SF Over Georgia, SW Orlando, Lagoon, Silverwood, Kennywood, Knoebels, California Great America
C: SF Over Texas, SF St. Louis, Worlds of Fun, Kentucky Kingdom, SF New England, ValleyFair, SW San Antonio, Lake Compounce, Waldameer, Mt Olympus, Indiana Beach, Universal Studios Florida
d: SF Discovery Kingdom, SW San Diego, Universal Studios Hollywood
Haven't Been to: SF Mexico, Canada's Wonderland, Michigan's Adventure, Dorney Park, SF Darien Lake, SF America, Frontier City, Great Escape, LaRonde
I added a few more parks to the tiers
Looking back I might put Silver Dollar City in S tier.
LaRonde shouldn’t be C. It should just be in the trash 😂
Common its not that bad..it has le monstre, goliath, vampire, bomerang and ednor.
my not universal studios island of adventurs in orlando
They just weren’t included, but Islands would be S tier.
Silver Dollar City is way to low on your list. It's world class
My Silver Dollar City Review will give you insight as to why it ranks lower. It is probably world class, but A tier is the tier for legendary parks that I didn't have quite as much fun at.
Magic Mountain is light years better than Busch Gardens Tampa, which is my home park! This dude is out of his tree.
Every single park I've been to he hasn't been to 💀
That’s how it goes sometimes.
Yeah lol@@ThemeParkAvenue
I’m not sure how Carowinds is as low as it is….we have the best ride in North America. Fury 325…it’s ranked top 5 in the world… lol this list gotta be a joke right..
It’s low because one roller coaster does not automatically give a park a top spot. Carowinds is a pretty flawed park and I think it’s unfair to pretend those flaws don’t exist in a ranking like this.
@@ThemeParkAvenue I mean yeah there are a few rides they need to get rid up to bring more people to the park it needs a new refresh in certain areas of the park. I’m not saying it’s the best..but dang didn’t think it would be ranked super low is all.
@@gaybrialavery fair enough, I’m glad you enjoy the park. Thanks for watching.
Fiesta Texas sucks nowadays…. Home park and they just don’t fix the rides. Don’t go….
Kings easy S. Dollywood is a A
Kings Island is easy S now that I’ve gone back.
Only. One. Item. Belongs. In. S. Tier. When will people learn the freaking rules?
Kings island is s tier you should come bavk
I have returned and it is now an easy S tier.
over Texas and fiesta Texas definitely not better than Canada’s wonderland
It’s been a while since I went to Canada’s Wonderland, but I thought the coasters were better at the Texas parks.
holiday world is defentinly S tier
I’d love to go there
go to more parks
I've been to some new ones since this video and updated the list.
Knotts is a poor mans dollywood
Disney parks left the chat
I think the template was more about the parks focused on roller coasters, which is why Disney and Universal weren’t there.
@@ThemeParkAvenue that makes much more sense
Reasoning for MM got me like 🙄
right like BOYY LMAO! Magic Mountain is an S tier park.
Wtf. Kings Island IS a S tier.
Can’t respect that choice.
I went back in September, it’s easily S tier now.
@@ThemeParkAvenue thank you for replaying to this. 6 months ago. Barely remember making it. Thank you for seeing reason. KI is phenomenal. Best CF park to me. It’s park presentation and feel. The staff love their jobs. Operations always spot on. Kept very well.
Six Flags Great America in "S" tier. Stop. First off it has no business near Cedar Point. Secondly, Dollywood, SDC, Carowinds, and Kings Island are all better.
Anyone who thinks Great Adventure is better the Magic Mountain is not very smart.
