Wow!!!!!!!! super congratulations again to all of the big winners at the recently held MAMA 2024 in Japan.... I'm really proud to all of you a lot from the bottom of my heart ❤❤❤... Fighting???? and I love you all very much....
They are always snubbed here, and yet they are always used too, so the last two years... they haven't attended. For years now, they were given the biggest stage and asked to put together the biggest performances of the show, with only 3 days to do it all. And the last time, MAMA failed to get their dancers their and they damn near weren't even able to get ready with a new team before they needed to go on stage. They were the ONLY boy groups who performed LIVE, and because MAMA doesn't want artists to do that, they aren't equipped for it. They wouldn't let them perform how they usually do, which is completely live with a 'fullness track' (it has the instrumentals, minimal vocal layering, adlibs, and the fill-in words needed for the rappers to take a breath during parts that would otherwise be impossible to perform live without alterations. Aka one or ten words here or there that allow them to take a quick a breath.) In other words, they are not used to performing with backtrack outside of the comeback music shows and award shows that insist upon if, but even then they ask for live mics with synced inears and love mics that have a split of no less than 70% live and no more than 30% backtrack. Unfortunately, they didn't provide ANY of that, and so the kids inears weren't synced to the audio at all, and the mics were literally just a love mic that would hold a connection to the sound system and kept cutting out, and even when it was connecting, they had to work like hell to be louder than the straight up prerecorded vocals they has still made them record and we're playing at the same volume they would have played it had they not had a live mic. This in conjunction with their Inears not being synced cased them to have a very doubled voice. It was the 3rd time MAMA Did this to them, only this time it wad extreme. On top of that the cameramen weren't even on the members hall the time, and of course the whole issue with not having their dancers and having to find andnteach a whole new team in and teach them them the whole stage, all whilst they themselves were having to prep the stage for such a massive performance. Causing them a shit ton of stress and keeping them from sleeping and eating right. It was so bad, that at the end of the performance, IN was barely able to keep upright until the lights went off and then he collapsed luckily BangChan caught him before he hit the stage. And Hyunjin was literally hyperventilating and Han had to tend to him. It's was COMPLETELY unprofessional for them to do ALL OF THAT to the group who was doing them a MASSIVE FAVOR by saving that nice from being nothing but phoned in performance. And guess what they were rewarded with! Having had the BIGEST YEAR of their career and taking over as being the biggest 4th gen artists worldwide!? Only 1 award from MAMA that wasn't fan voted, and it was one that literally hadn't existed prior to that night, just like they always do. And this time, they gave it to them at the end of the show when they do the main awards, and just like there have done the last two years as well, s few of the made up awards are designed to make the artists and you think they just won a main award because the titles are almost EXACTLY the same, they are given at the end, and from what you can tell it wasn't like it was one con the bs special awards from rhe year before. (Nope, it was a NEW bs special award designed to trick the grou pandemic fans for just the next few minutes, so the artist give a happy speech and fans in the crowd don't start booing. Seriously, I'm not making that sh*t up, that's really the purpose of a few of the special awards, for the first two years, in 2021 and 2022 at least, when they began to activity participate in label rigging and chart manipulation for the numbers ised to decide nominations and then winners. It was done because they know darn well that they robbed the groups they would have otherwise given them to, BOTH Years, the ones given the two biggest and most obvious decoy awards were the SAME TWO. GIdle, and Stray Kids. So they misused them, then they robbed them. It was SO BAD, SKZ jsut stopped going all together. In fact, I dunno if you noticed, but other than JYP himself, none of their artists performed at the show. NONE OF THEM, and I don't even know if any of them were even there, but I do know that I didn't see any of them. So clearly, longtime fans weren't the only ones mad. Not if none of them performed, most of not all didn't even attend, the label allowed and supported this decision, AND considering how last year, Stray Kids literally went to Jeju Island and say on a beach, returning the day after MAMA, even though everyone had asked MAMA were their 3 biggest artists of the year were.. one of which was Stray Kids. Only to say they were trying to get ahold of them and would let everyone know later. Then, this year, they made SURE MAMA would know not to bother back when they announced the Asian leg of their tour. As the set up their concert in the Philippines for the EXACT SAME days as MAMA. And we all know that since 2020, outside of fan voted awards, if you don't attend, then you won't win and they will just add points to the runner up judges % until that group ends up in first place. Not that they need to, all the numbers from the vast majority of internationally charting groups were already heavily manipulated in order to win.
