OOPS! On Row 3 the written directions should be R3: CH1, DC1...... You do not turn and you only work 1DC and not 5. I show this in the video but the written instructions are wrong for the beginning of that row.

I noticed on the directions you wrote on the screen for R3-10 it says to ch1, turn, and then the directions. I didn't see you turn on those rows but continued to work in rounds. Nice pattern.

Sorry that is a mistype. You are correct there is NO turning in this pattern.

Love this pattern! Wonderful tutorial. Quick question, for the cowl I think you said chain 72. If we’re going into the 2nd chain from hook we should have 71 sts for the pattern correct?

Actually for the pattern to have a multiple of 3 you would have to chain 73 for the smaller cowl.

Yes that is correct. The starting chain should be a multiple of 3.

The starting chain should be a multiple of 3, not the starting stitch count. The starting stitch count would be a multiple of 3+2.

Hello - I'm a bit confused. At the beginning of the 3rd row, your instructions say to DC 5, which I took to mean DC the next 5 stitches. Then, when row 4 begins, There's only 1 DC, and then we're instructed to make a cluster v stitch in the chain space of the adjacent cluster V, except, I've got another 4 DCs until I get there. Did I miss something?

It is a mistype. It should be DC 1.
