This series has been absolutely amazing. Tradition does exist thanks to people like you as well as the craftsmen and women who create their craft. By opening up this world to us commoners will keep it alive and introduce a new audience. I’m really enjoying this series.

What I love about this is that it’s not about what the featured items cost or being exclusive, it’s about fine craftsmanship for it’s own sake. I love that this series isn’t rushed, and the process and the craftspeople are front and center. The camera work is excellent, commentary and score are appropriate, informative, and not distracting. This is such a wonderful and well done series. Truly a benchmark for the chosen topics.

Kirby - you are becoming a superb documentarian. How significantly you’ve grown as a channel of excellence in the past months - from Texas Traditions to this series. We had a hint of your potential back in the day when you gave us an in-depth tour of John Lobb. Very impressed with this new look and style. Keep them coming!

Kirby, I may never wear any garments of the quality shown in your excellent videos. However, I feel that I am much better as a consumer from this information. I shop 2nd hand shops and with this information, I can pick the better quality items with the knowledge I have gained. I now respect more fully the well-dressed man. Thank you for these valuable insights.

Outstanding craftsmanship. Even in the making of a garment we see the very best of what it is to be British and the level of professional competence that marks our heritage brands. Rule Britannia.

    Hi Kirby,
I'm beguiled by the sound track to this series. To me, it invokes a cosmopolitan world adrift between the New York jazz age of the 1920s and Fellini's Italy of he 50s and 60s. Unsurprisingly with a sojourn in Paris somewhere there in the middle for good measure. Utterly perfect for the timeless NOW of what the series is trying to achieve.

Such a celebration of the skill of modern craft workers. Such a celebrations of the diversity that is modern London.
Oh, and Kirby, please do let us know the final cost for the suit is even if you didn't pay for all of it. Little teasers like 'this stage involves around 80 hours work' by reasonably well paid craft persons gives us a hint of where this is all going, but the final figure is intriguing.
My punt is 7,436 GBP. Shall we start a little pool on the outcome?
