- Concept Layout for a 315ft Giga Coaster designed to fit in Knott's Berry Farm. This coaster would interact with GhostRider and have a station in the backlot area that is normally open for Knott's Scary Farm.
This guy predicted the future lmao
There was still the rumor before there was the screamscape thing and layout leak
The fact you did this 4 years ago … VERY IMPRESSIVE … if I didn’t know any better, the park was inspired by this to make their concept.
Alright whose here after hearing the rumor
0:44 I’ve never seen an overbank like that. It’s kind of like Orion’s wave turn, but 10x longer
That's my favorite part :)
now I want this one instead of the intamin
Damn, honestly wish this was the actual layout
I still think if they ever build a giga, it should be called Gigante! due to the first four letters of the name.
That's not the exact layout as per highly substantiated speculation over recent days (Dec 2021), but that said, it's not all that far off either (considering this video is Apr 2017) should the rumors prove true. The upward helix is actually in there along with the turnaround and large floater airtime hill - I think you threw in a banked right hander too, which is also in there. The rumored layout is L-shaped (left handed), but with an elbow - there's also a tunnel at the bottom of the drop (247') and the lift hill is rumored to be exactly the same height as fury - 325'. Some speculative renders appear to have put the drop beyond 90 deg, but I don't know how much to read into that.
This layout was pure speculation but it is funny how it turned out huh?! Make sure you check out my ACTUAL recreation of it :)
@@ImTheRealB Will do!
some of these elements like banked turns would never be seen on a B&M giga. they fit a bit better on an intamin.
I'm sure people would have thought the same about the Fury 325 turn
(this is still the technoproject) idk I think that turn on fury 325 does look like something b&m would do, only cause it looks very spread out. But he made the banked turn look like the one on millennium force.
The Shitpost 9000 B&M made a wing coaster with a overbank like one on Millie
you’re from the future
Hello! We have dip'n'dots!
Kings island is getting a giga
is it uploaded in steam?
Giga Coaster with looping?
They wouldn't give a giga to a minor park. Notice the trend of giga coasters are all the biggest Cedar Fair parks.
Jake Cobovic Knotts actually gets some of the highest attendance in the chain, according to CF's last big presentation (I think last year it was #2, behind only CP). Never say never ;)
Aaron Hilliker I think it was actually #1 because it is the only park open year round.
Jake Cobovic this is the next biggest park in the chain that doesn't have a giga
European parks should really get a Giga. They are in need of one.
Coaster Boss. People wouldn't ride it anyway. The GP over here can barely get on anything over 50ft in height.
Very good and creative. But they would have to take out at lot of the historic ghost town buildings
4 years ago 😳
@@evanblacksher7597 HAHA i stand corrected
@@tyweaver145 I’m glad that it might actually come true
@@evanblacksher7597 Well they definitely figured out how to make it work with the space they have, but i’m worried about the noise. Ghostrider and Pony Express have the scream covers, and Silver Bullet is filled with sand even though it’s in the middle of the park. The current design runs right next to houses and I doubt sand/scream covers will be enough. Buena Park has complained for years.
@@tyweaver145 ya I think there’s a very good chance this doesn’t happen but I’m gonna try and be optimistic. The noise is a big concern tho
Ur recreation of Ghostrider didn't look very accurate, also, there's parking over there that would almost have to be removed with this there.
As for the ride itself, it seemed kind of tame; tossing in some little airtime hills as well as some quick double up's and double downs would bring up the excitement a bit, but as it stands the transitions are a bit slow for my liking. Of course, I take a lot of my design aspirations and inspiration from RMC, so that's a big reason why I think that.
It is an RMC version of GhostRider :P
Not going to happen :P too many buildings would have to be removed, there's parking or historic buildings everywhere, it'd be really fucking expensive, Knott's is landlocked, and also they're already putting in an RMC raptor in the spot where Riptide and Boomerang stood. Idfk where this stupid theory with Knotts' giga coaster coming to play, but it's stupid and needs to die off...
they aren't getting a RMC raptor. Or T-Rex
Well you're wrong. They got a gerstlauer
November 2021 comes, and then all the coaster channels are talking about it.
I love this idea especially how the coaster interacts with Ghost Rider. Although, I would like to see this creation designed and manufactured by MACK and feature coterminously interlocking vertical loops that are programmed to interlock every cycle. Consider something like Fury 325 and Helix giving birth to a new era of Hyper/Giga coasters. Oh Yeah!!!
