- This is the most accurate recreation of the Knott's Giga Coaster Layout from the leaked blueprints. The layout has been carefully measured and created using all the known information from the blueprints and is more accurate than any other POV you will find. The only parts that may be inaccurate is the amount of banking on each element, and the amount of trim brakes. The height, length and speed should all be relatively accurate. The layout is most likely to change but this is our best guess now for the coaster.

I find it funny that knotts, the most landlocked park in the cedar fair chain, is getting a larger, record breaking giga that kings island is, when they had way more land.
Indeed, this is an inefficient allocation of land and capital.
(if this turns out to be true) I genuinely can't believe I'm going to be able to go 100 MPH in one of the best parks in southern California that isn't cheap thrills, isn't money grabbing scams, and actually has good deals. (cough cough, disneyland, cough cough, six flags) This is gonna be epic.
Hate to break it to you Aaron, but every theme park is greedy and mainly only cares about money. Not just Disney and six flags. I knows it's like the "cool thing" nowadays to hate on both six flags and Disney but let's ignore the flaws of literally every theme park/theme park chain in existence.
Hate to break it to you but it won’t go 100mph. Based on the blueprints, if you do the math you’ll find out a top speed of 99mph :(

I was thinking it could have theming dealing with gold or mining and have a yellow and black track but that might be too loud.
That little turn at the bottom of the first drop is probably gonna be insane
Funny thing about the scenery if it does get built, is that it's literally built in the middle of the city. You're going to see mostly people's backyards 😅

To think that this will go 100mph, that's the same as superman at SFMM, but without a launch. Insane how they managed to plan it out in a land locked park. Hopefully it gets approved to be built

@Dog I really don't see Six Flags of all chains building ANYTHING similar. They JUST started working with B&M again and that was on MINI dive coasters that cost around $10-$15mil. The cost of that lift hill alone is gonna be near that price😂🤣😂. But in all seriousness SFMM will not be getting a giga....20 coasters are doing them just fine and they have a really bad rep for being a rowdy park. I honestly think that park is gonna start going in the family direction to balance things back out...bring in some flat rides and what not.
@@mattr3922 Yeah. Six Flags aren’t big spenders. I see them removing viper in 3-5 years. I wish we could get one of those newer Vekoma models. We’ll probably get an S&S axis freespin instead so they can market it as the tallest and fastest.
Knotts berry Farm said the giga coaster isn’t happening anymore like 3 days ago and this park will most likely forever be basic it’s because there’s to many houses next to the premises plus the city doesn’t feel like hearing noise complaints from people

At that speed the turnaround after the drop will need to be the size of Millies first turn around and that is a nice gray out element.

Not enough B&M floater airtime for my taste but a very realistic layout.
I think the track will have more floater hills. This recreation has a bit too many banked hills, at least what I can pick out from the lay out.
RMC Should’ve Got This Contract.. They would’ve build a Epic Coaster For Knotts.. Probably Not as tall and fast but EPIC!!
That looks much like a scaled up version of Shambhala with a little extra track but I like it!

With the size of the coaster exactly how the plans are laid out, there will be 2-3 trims for sure. That is assuming the layout doesn't change. The biggest issue is the Shambala turn being wayyy too small.
@@ImTheRealB Was kind of wondering about that! It looked disproportionately small from the top-down blueprint, so I'm curious if there's something we don't know going on back there

Yes it is pretty fast there.. the turn is really small IMO but I went by the blueprints. Not sure how they will pull it off IRL
Interesting lack of mid brake. Bimmer have shunned them but this long ride might do better without stacking everything at the tail end.
