Such a selfless lady ✨
Unacademy and Byjus ads are really often interrupting and disturbing us from seeing madam's awesome videos....
your explanation and pronunciation is very clear. I totally like your explanation.
you are doing such a great job ma'am.. I am really grateful to you...the way you explain.... is really appreciable... luv you ma'am
Mam your way of teaching is such a wonderful, you're done a great job & your vedio lesson will cover such a huge knowledge about that particular topics, love you mam from heart.. Totally you are a package of knowledge mam

I could seat and learn in your class all day… your teaching style is very effective.
Although I appreciate mam's efforts but an AUTOSOMAL RECESSIVE DISORDER means that both the parents should be carriers[ Hb(s)Hb(a) X Hb(s)Hb(a)] for the offspring to inherit the disease. The example given in this video will not result in offspring with the disease but only in carrier children(that too 50%, other 50% would be normal; male or female) as only one parent is the carrier not both of them. Hb(s)Hb(a) is a carrier not the one with the disease as both the alleles are not affected. Hb(s)Hb(s) is the one with the disease. Use Punnett square for more clarity.
Yes u r absolutely correct
yo man you r right and same as the ncert is also right
Iss comment kohi dhund raha tha
💯
Thanks was quite confused with this, thank god I came to the comment section
the way u explain is jst perfect .... thnk u mam foh doing such an awesome work ...

Mam ,in example you cross normal with carrier but in book its given that both partners should be carrier for the disease then only this disease is transmitted..
Yes l have the same doubt
I am shourya mam, Your teaching is excellent ...mam I was able to learn everything......great job mam 😘😘
Mam u r really an extraordinary person who z really capable for teaching in online method to teach the medical students like us. Grt full. To u mam.....
Mam you are genius you are great and everything thanks lot mam
Thank you mam. Thanks a lot for posting such an effective class.
if sickle cell is a recessive disorder how can heterozygous condition cause the disease
exactly
There are two sickle cell anaemic conditions....one is heterozygous (hb^A hb^S) and other is homozygous ( hb^S hb^s) but in homozygous condition person die before sexual maturity therefore sickle cell anaemia is considered as hb^A hb^S ...
And as we don't consider homozygous condition phenotypic ratio for sickle cell anaemia is not 1/4 but it's 1/3
It is a case of co dominance where both the gene are expressed.
@@sanazafar2371 SSA is an example of pleiotrophy
Though it causes anaemia it also provides increased resistance against malaria which was the entire point of mutation as it was first seen in Africa where malaria is a major cause of death
very helpful!!
Thanks Ma'am
Such a wonderful cls mam....thank u for ur amezing cls
Thnxxx a lot Mam...
I really liked ur videos soo much..

Thanks dear!
U videos helped many people who cannot effort for good coaching thank u mam
Best video, thank you very much mam.
Mdm could you explain how sickle cell anaemia in recessive heterozygous individuals allows them to be resistant to malaria, please. Thank you
Mam your teaching methods is excellent and u are very genious
Short, simple and clear thanks 🙏 Ma’am
Hey can u help me out how come hba hbs not a carrier in sickle cell anaemia but affected one....as it is an recessive diorder
Thanks mam,it was really helpful.
Mam you are the best biology teacher!..👏👍
mam pls add all the chapters for 12
I think there's an errata in the video .. HbS HbS causes the Sickle cell disease whereas HbA HbS have Sickle cell trait .. in the video it says the homozygous person would not survive which isn't true ... the heterozygous will have Sickle cell trait which do not have symptoms unless high altitude or severe exertion
Thank you so much mam
Excellent presentation

Thank you mam.
Would heterozygous carrier show up the disease as it is a recessive disorder???
mam what is inborne human diseases
Am 30 with SS, i feel life slipping away from me. What career can i take? anybody
If the female is affected then it should be recessive hbshbs.....
Thnks alot Mam
ThanQ so much mam...lots of love...GBu!!
Awesome class mam🦋
Please clear my doubt
If a boy is normal and his mother is having sickle cell anemia.if he marries a normal girl(not having sickle cell) then is there any chnce of having child with this disease ??
Please mam reply
Never.....because sickle cell anaemia is a condition of( hb^A hb^S)......but you are saying that boy is normal ...therefore his genotype will be hb^A hb^A so he don't have allele for sickle cell anaemia and when he marries a normal girl with genotype hb^A hb^A then there is no chance to get child with genotype hb^A hb^S
Hope it will be helpful...
nice explain mam..tq mam
_Marvelous ma'am_ 👍
good
Mam little confused about sickle cell anaemia plz can u give more examples
thank you!!
wonderful videos thank you ma'am
Mam HbSHbA genotype is a carrier of the disease while HbSHbS is the diseased person . This was given in NCERT...Please clarify me
nice explanation mam
As it is autosomal recessive
Mam u are supeb
GOD❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🇮🇳.. LOVE.......UUUUUU
plz mam explain cheyandi treatment ento...plz
Found this very helpful. Ty ma'am :)
Thx u mam teaching so clearly
It's really awesome mam.... Tq so much again 😄😄
👌👌👌
Great mam 😊😍
In mutant sickle cell B globlin gene there is changing nucleotide A:T to T:A that is why it produce GUG mrna
but mam boy suffered sicall cell .how born children not suffering this diesis.
Mam, you are telling that sickle cell anaemia is an autosome linked recessive disease. Then, how can the female parent be diseased carrying only one defective allele ? as you've drawn a solid circle.
Sickle cell anaemaia incomplete dominant or codominant ??
Thank you very much ma'am
Female is a carrier, so it have to be half shaded know mam
Thank u mam❤
little confuse between carrier n disease phenotype about sickle cell Anaemia. Mam take carrier phenotype as disease... Why ❓
Are HbA and HbS alleles equally dominant?
Mam why it is called as Drepanocytosis
But isn't sickle cell anemia recessive? Shouldn't the female showing the trait be homozygous?
Waao waao waao ...
Today looking cute Mam
I want the dress like u 😆😆😆😆
Mam love u
Is it eg of codominance
CAN ANYONE SOLVE MY DOUBT
" we know that sickle cell anaemia is autosomal recessive disorder then why it is getting tranfered to next geneeation"
I WOULD BE VERY MUCH THANKFULL IF ANYBODY SOLVE MY DOUBT
Same doubt
A relevant portion of b chain of haemoglobin of a normal human is val.his.leu.thr.pro.glu.glu
The codon for the 6th a.a is gag .it mutates to gas due to mutations a and hug due to mutations b . Haemoglobin structures did not change also result of mutations a but mutations led to sickle cell shape rbcs . explain giving reason how could mutations b change the Hb structures did not mutations a.
Please mam explain this.
❤❤❤
mam plz add only one longer video of 12 STD which covers totally whole topics plzzz it's a humble request
what does A in HbA represents in sickle cell anemia ?
Hb A represents normal haemoglobin......similarly, Hb S will represent sickle celled haemoglobin
@@bhavani4287 I know this bro/sis. But I'm asking what does A in Hb A means ?
A represent normal Adult haemoglobin ..
@@bhavani4287 Ok Thanks
I pay my sincere respect to you,ma'm.Hiw I can contact you to clear some of my doubts which I face while teaching these concepts of genetics to my students. Please help.
👌🔥🔥
Ma'am genetics bilingual me pdha do plz
u r awesome
Hiii
hindi m bhi dala kro
☺👌👌.
Mam ur teaching is nyc but I will give only 50/100 for this video bcoz u did some misktake in the consideration of Hb.i think u will rectify dis n explain in ur way
But sickle cell anemia is recessive disorder both the alleles should be recessive(Hbs,Hbs) to show trait(sickle shape RBCs), and here you showed that heterozygous (Hbª, Hbs) are the affected man or having trait)... so how could be sickle cell anemia is recessive disorder then??????????
Mother is carrier here.
mam man is heterogygous
Tope
Mam you are teaching wrong.hbs hbs is diseased not hba hbs
Add of Snapchat give me a feelings a girl look like same as my ex gf
Thank you mam
