@AMPRO engineering I just finished the installation of your tail lamp kit for the wpl c24. I just want to say that I am EXTREMELY happy with this tail lamp kit, and it turned out very nice. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering it.
Great Work!!!! They came out better than i had imagined.. Thank You for all hard work and expertise...I had a 1988 4x4 SR5 Extra Cab. That i bought new and drove it for 11 years. But i live on the east coast and all that was left was the front cab. Still ran great and sold it for a good price. Then i bought a 2000 4Runner. Still have it. Just starting too see some rust spots. Thanks again!!!
@@AMPROEngineering Wow!!! My wife had a 92 Toyota Paseo. They only made them for a few years. She put very close to 500k before it broke down.I think it was the timing belt. Sold it for 500 dollars.
Still haven't installed these yet.Too many life problems.Needed a refresh. Forgot how awesome they look. Now i need a couple more pairs. For other's i have bought. Hope you still offer them at shapeways.
I’m EXTREMELY excited to receive the 3D printed taillights yesterday. Can I use Revell 39604 to glue the lens to the reflector piece? I believe I can’t use Tamiya cement as it will cause the paint to smudge.
I am not familiar with the Revell glue. As long as there is no "bloom" like a CA will do, that will work. The Polyjet print is similar to Polycarbonate so it wont be adversely affected of the glue works on PC. Hope that helps!
I use tamiya Trans orange and Red on the outside and an opaque orange and red on the inside. This prevents the glue from altering the transparency of the colors visibly. Sorry I know that is hard to explain but if you add glue on a trans color, it makes the trans different in the area with the glue vs the one without. As for glue, I use a testors model glue but I have also used CA glue very sparingly. i would test this on a scrap piece of plastic before your final part.
These are great looking printed lenses.. 2 questions when you refer to color sanding what product are you using? 1500 grit sandpaper? And model glue Are you using sing seaglue?? Is that OK for the material it is printed with?
I used 1000-1500 grit. Slow but looks great. I do not use CA glue at all on these. The bloom from the CA makes them fog. Use hot glue, just a couple drops, to hold them in place and then I use Shoogoo. Works perfect.
Oh man that is a super rare part not. I have no idea where to get them but I heard that some Traxxas seems to fit? I would google "king blackfoot axle (or driveshaft) traxxas" and see where that leads you. It is a part I have tried to source for years.
@@AMPROEngineering ok but dont you have a other idea that i can try becase mine is wared out... The dogbone is eating into it and it makes a weird noise, and i dont think its good for the gearbox
So shapeways went of business. We are moving all 5200 part to the AMPro YouMagine (links to everything are on www.amproengineering.com) and while at the moment they only have the STl files as an option, we are getting prints up and running soon!

Thank you! Yeah it is a bummer about the rust for sure.
I like the paseo. A buddy of mine has a Paseo cabriolet!
Nice detailed engineering. Awesome attention to detail 🙏😎☮️✝️
Thanks so much!

I would really like to see a how-to video on the rail lamps for the wpl c24! I just ordered them.
Zane, those are direct installs. Just paint and install! I would clear the holes a bit too just in case.
AMPRO Engineering ok. Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by clear the holes? Also, do I paint the truck body behind the tail lamp silver ?
Hi.which transparent orange and red color you used .which glue the color does not break

I plan on picking these up on shapeways. What kind of paint do you recommend for the red and orange ?
I use Tamiya Red and Orange Lexan paint.
AMPRO Engineering ok thank you. Did you use the same paint on both the backside and the front?
this gives me ideas for a new bright monster truck i have been modding its an older 90's one
I have a Nikko one that I have also been thinking about, haha!
Hi are the lamps no longer available?
I am so sorry! Shapeways got rid of the frosted plastic so I had to set them to clear. You should see them now.
Heyyy, im looking for a set of tamiya king blackfoot rear axles... I cant find the parts number. Do you maybe know it?
They are 43mm long
Its a rear wheel axle

@@AMPROEngineering thank you! I can definitely print my own if you have a link to direct me to the STL
Your videos are very informative love what you do., as more information comes out on the HP g407 please let us know
Thanks!
You do good work! I like it.
Thank you so much!
Would the cnc 2 speed transfer case for the scx10 be compatible with a tf2?
OH man I have no idea. I am really sorry but I do not have a SCX10 to compare to.
Excellent 👍
Thanks!
Where you buy or you out of business brah?
Shapeways closed down because they are idiots. I am moving to YouMagine.com for home prints and working on a solution to buy parts.
Hot dam that is the best I must get2 sets they look so scale.
Troi Woytenko thanks man, I was so over the awful stock lights
@@AMPROEngineering How can I get my hands on 2 sets?
