Fun Fact: In most casinos, a Blackjack win nets a 3/2 payout. That is a 150% payout. However, some casinos have a 5/3 payout, which is a 167% payout, and I've heard of a 7/4 payout, but never seen it. 7/4 equates to a 175% payout. This is of course, on top of the returned initial wager. The odds of actually getting dealt a natural blackjack are ridiculously low, no matter how many decks are used, even if the casino is using six decks at any given table (tournaments!)

Should you always double down on eleven? My advice is to double down if you believe you're going to get at least a seven. However, don't hit or stand on a pair of sixes, sevens, or eights; *_split those._* Only stand on twelve to sixteen, if you believe that the cards are ten-rich, and that the dealer is likely to bust.

If there had been more players like Roscoe who at least knew its objective, this game might have stayed around. But Bob had to keep walking people through it, so it's surprising that it lasted as long as it did.

Wish Hit me shouldn't retired. The rules if the house and player has Ace and 10 or face card, the house will get only 11, and player gets 21 to win, unless the player gets 20 and house gets 21, the player will lose.

I picked the mints and facial scrub playing along. I was dumbfounded when they retired Hit Me back in 2006 because people couldn’t do basic multiplication! Now people can’t even do basic math anymore without doing it a new way, the old way was better.

Anyway, his absence back then was due to his hospitalization that occurred right before his passing.
