      I don’t mean to be redundant, but heres a few tips of my own;
      Never lock on mod a Mancubi, Always PB Ballista or at least PB with something for his arm guns. Doesn’t matter much on an arena like this but mod maps make it more important
      Be careful about to much air time with the meathook, sometimes floating around up in the air for to long is a good way to get caught by a large amount of projectiles as your height peaks, this has caused to many deaths on mod maps that have a lot of enemies (tbh none of my advice applies for a base game map), I suggest getting good at dodging enemy attacks with your dash on the ground, specifically tyrant and snake ground attacks as you wont always have time to jump over them.
      - Don’t forget your grenades in your combos! They regen so fast and really add damage to large groups. Especially use them up at the start to get those recharge timers cooking. You may already be practicing this stuff, but theres always more to learn from this game, maybe this are useful tips to ya.

      @purplefloyd1513 2000 hours is insane 😭 but these are great tips. My favorite thing to do to mancubi is hitting them some quick pb/sticky bomb shots to delete their cannons instantly. I considered including more combat tactics in this video, like weaving grenades in between weapon swaps, but didn't want the video to get too long and always figured I could make that a separate video. I never knew about how staying in the air too long can actually be harmful though, def explains a couple deaths now that I think about it

      @@purplefloyd1513 I personally don't fully agree with this.
      Destroying weak points is made obsolete by quick switching. All of the demons with destructible weak points die extremely quick to normal quick switching so it doesn't matter if you break the weak point or not. And even if they didn't die quick, their offensive capabilities aren't made much better because they are got their weak points on them. I would argue that in many cases it's even better to leave the arachnotron turret on because the turret is extremely predictable and if you have alright movement you won't get hit by it, but without its turret the attacks become very random.
      Staying in the air is good, but staying in one spot isn't. On the ground staying in one spot is bad, the same applies for when you're in the air, just way less. So if you can move around in the air, that will be way better than staying grounded.

      @@Well_M1 No reason not to destroy weak points mid quick switching they do more damage than regular hits, you wont even be worrying what attack they do as they will be dead in 2 seconds. No reason not to blow off Manc arms and or Arach turrets, Revenant launchers, etc, it also stuns them which is also great. Also not saying to not move, but to avoid hanging around in the air for to long and to get good and sometimes using your dodges on the ground. I said nothing about staying in one spot, in fact I am specifically saying that that air time when you peak upward leaves you in one spot and open to damage. Having a variety of movement tools other than just throwing yourself into the air to do your quick swapping is very useful. I am not saying to stay still lmao

    • @purplefloyd1513
      @purplefloyd1513 День назад

      @@Well_M1 Additionally, pretty much all enemies are genuinely weaker without their weakpoints. I dont see how that arach turret is easier than those slow, predictable grenades they lob once its destroyed. Mancs lose nearly all ranged offensive capabilities, and Revenants become melee enemies. Thats if you aren’t just finishing them off quick. Stunning them is definitely the best part, as all weakpoint stun gives enough time to completely finish the enemy. I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to instantly stun and then quick finish them. Because of this, in hefty mod map arenas that spawn in obscene amounts of stuff, its always best to just rip through the weak point enemies in a matter of seconds before focusing on whatever possessed buffed duo marauder they spawned in (unless if they are doing archviles I guess)

    • @raguel4416
      @raguel4416  День назад +1

      Mastering these movement mechanics and weapon swapping will bring you a long way. Once you've got that down, it comes down to putting the reps in and developing your doom IQ. What I mean by that is dying and failing over and over again until you learn what decisions are the best to make for each situation. Eventually you'll be able to read any scenario and make split second decisions based on what the demons are throwing at you. It just takes time.
