I just started watercolor painting a few months ago and I really like this video. Prema, you give a very good explanation of all your steps to accomplish this simple, yet lovely painting. I can't wait to try it after the holiday.
I’m frustrated! I can’t get my paints to look as smooth as yours. I see lots of brush strokes. Am I using too much pigment? Not enough? Am I overworking it? I’ve only been painting for a few months, so I get there’s a learning curve involved here, but I don’t know what to change to make it look right.
1. Wet the paper a couple of times and ensure the right amount of water on the paper. 2. Use a big mop brush. This reduces the time needed to apply pigments. If you use a small brush, it will take a lot of time to paint, and the paper might start to dry.
Very beautiful painting!!! 🙏👍🎨
