- In this video I will talking about my new Omega Aqua Terra Shades watch that I added onto my collection that will be replacing my Rolex Datejust. Comment down below if you believe I made a mistake and follow the Instagram for more exclusive watch content @monarchtimepiececollection. Thank you for watching!
Certainly agree. Omega’s customer service is also superior. Great addition!
For sure! Thank you!
Nice review! Looking forward to seeing your channel grow!
Thank you! Greatly appreciated!!
The saffron called my name and came home with me. I do agree that the bracelet could be more substantial and the date wheel color matched but neither takes away from the watch’s beauty and the experience wearing it.
I agree. I really enjoy it. It has become my new daily
NICE watch! Good review - I have Blue dial with blue rubber which i think is a more versatile look and way more comfortable for me at least. Good photography and valid comments- thank you 🎉
Thank you! Yea the rubber strap would give it the extra level of comfort and versatility. Such a great watch. Thank you for your comment I greatly appreciate it!
Awesome review !!! Lovely watch
Thank you!
No your not a idiot, great choice, probably the only watch you need,❤️👍🏴
@@charleslyall4911 thank you! I’m really loving it
I’m going for the 41 bicolour on the rubber strap, thanks ❤️🏴👍
It's a shame they don't have a 41mm version. I'm waiting for that purely for the bracelet, would love to pair the bracelet with my 8500 model. The presidential style bracelet looks awesome.
Yea I agree! I think it’s just a matter of time that omega will offer it in 41. Given all the variations they have for almost every model along with different sizes I think it’s just a matter of time. The presidential styled bracelet is extremely comfortable.
They didn’t release it because the screwed up the date window and had to work on fixing it. Even so they did not color match with the dial. I suppose they did it for visibility which is I reckon the same reason Vacheron, Patek etc do the same.
That’s interesting. I didn’t know about the date wheel. When I asked the salesman at the boutique he said he didn’t know so I figured it was because of the price increase lol I know most brands do the white colored date wheel, but I’m now starting to have a preference to matching colored datewheels like on the Santos
@@monarchtimepiececollection Yes, initially it wasn’t going to have the frame. They put the release picts out without the frame. Beautiful watch but it was shouting “unfinished”. The frame looks great I think, I did complete the watch. Anyhow, I am also of the same thought as yours when it comes down to date windows. Same colour as the dial is not much to ask and also I don’t think it is worth the extra visibility.
In my opinion they wanted to be closer to those other higher end luxury brands and most those do Whyte windows ( even Rolex, although the cyclops is a different game) because of that they also raised prices and, truth be told, came out with this new AT which is so well rounded
@@rafapazos06 yea I couldn’t agree more. The price increase wasn’t bad enough to turn me away from the watch. I think for what you’re paying you’re getting a solid, well designed watch, with desirable upgrades (bracelet and dial). So far I’ve loved it and couldn’t be happier
They did it on purpose to generate interest. Omega would not overlook such a simple detail. Brilliant!
@@watches202 that’s what I was thinking too
Do you have to wind it ?
Love wearing my aqua terra, especially now that the shiny center links have experienced the elements for a couple years. It doesn’t have that crazy shine anymore, more a well worn slightly less flashy look. Enjoy!
Thank you! Yea I’m loving my aqua terra. It’s a great daily!
Why is the seconds hand moving like that? Did you slow motion those shots or is that really how the seconds hand jumps?
I slowed down the shots
I like this Aqua terra, specifically blue dial, and am closely eyeing them off on the secondary market, i reckon a good deal can be had there.
Absolutely!I was stuck between the blue dial and green dial but ultimately went with the green as I already had several blue dialed watches
I just bought myself the 38mm blue dial aqua terra, and tbh I think the omega colours are all better than the Rolex, I
Even prefer the seiko prospex green dial better than the Rolex green
Does it come with any half links? If so how many?
none
I’m waiting a year and a half for my Terracota version..what’s the hold up? It’s a Aqua Terra
That’s odd. I’ve been to two different omega boutiques and they’ve had most of the dial options there for purchasing. Which Omega boutique have you gone to?
What a downgrade!! but I am happy you are having fun with it. Congrats!
Haha thanks bud! I’m enjoying it a bit more than the DJ at the moment
get the Seamaster 300 41mm Blue face. Much nicer
Can’t argue there. The SM 300 is a great configuration for a daily wear for sure
Too bad the fully polished case
True. Doesn’t add too much contrast to the case and it’s still a great looking watch
you cant really find these anywhere
I’m thinking of selling mine if you’re interested!
