It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to have free power in your home minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
Where is the electrical part? I just see you putting parts in a box. but what about wiring them up.where the wiring schedules and the cable lengths. How do you know what wire lengths you need and where to route them.
Congratulations on showing that it is possible to create an electrical board in Inventor, but we start with an electrical scheme first and then the board information is generated ... Example Eplan!
@@FlyWithElectricity I mentioned or Eplan that in my opinion, it is one of the best and most expensive! But, I also work with AutoCAD Electrical and I know that electrical schematics are performed by Inventor. Because I know SolidWorks in mechanical parts, if I have both, I prefer to migrate to SolidWorks Electrical. Develop cool videos between the two platforms (AutoCAD Elctrical and Inventor)!

Sorry lockdown bored but This is a mechanical engineer attempting to design an electrical panel So apart from the issues I have with the presentation This has virtually no value for an electrical engineer as all the important information does not exist Where is the wires and cables ? 1) First two minutes wasted designing a box of indeterminate dimensions instead of downloading the stp model from a cabinet manufacturer 2) Next minute and a half using pre set lengths of cable trunking and din rail how are you going to get the correct cutting lengths? 3) Spent time putting electronics board inside a component why? 4) Spent long periods of time modifying parts pasting jpegs onto them why this should already be done in the inventor part 5) At about 6 mins an aerial magically appears on the side of the panel bit of bad editing there 6) Time spent creating screws from scratch (what happened to the standard components library supplied with inventor) 7) Good one here looks like a solid-state relay being fitted onto a din rail, but the relay pack does not have a clip to mount it on the rails 8) Time spent duplicating and fitting terminals (now its noticeably clear it’s just a mechanical package all electrical design packages that have 3-d modelling capabilities would place the whole terminal block down in one action) 9) School boy mistake how are you going to tighten the glands in the middle of the array of glands 10) Where the contacts on the switches the clues there the emergency stop has contacts?
