To be fair, Hasbro seems to have some genuine competition this year. Zuru seems to have really upped their game, I love their blaster lineup (and the MASSIVE quantity of darts they dole out with each blaster), and Hasbro/Nerf seems to be taking that seriously. If only they'd make their ammunition prices more competitive.

tho it is a viable marketing strat because not every consumer is an enthusiast and the "only official nerf darts" marketing scheme lets parents know to get them rathrr the the competitor's darts and they would never knew about things like $5 waffle-heads

You should print a thing that replaces the two feet and has a bipod attachment.
I wish there was such a thing as a rival tripod, the feet are super useful for protecting the blaster but it has a rival tactical rail in between them right at the point of balance.

An alternative to reading the instructions is to just watch Coop772's videos. His reviews are far more intensive than Drac's, including reading the instructions, spending hours playing with the blaster, and putting thousands of rounds through the blaster. When I watch Drac's video on the prometheus, I had already seen Coop's, and wanted reach through my phone and show Drac his miscalculation.
Good review, but I can't take your critique of the sling and handle seriously for the simple fact that you held the sling wrong. It goes over the opposite shoulder and rests on the neck. That's what the pad is for. I'm a stockier guy than you and I've had little trouble with the Prometheus(aka Nerf Rival's Apotheosis). That said, this was an, otherwise, solid review. Keep it up!
The best stock blaster by far, bar none. I'm planning on mounting it to my buggy so it isn't overpowered in a stock nerf war without other full auto rival blasters.
I lucked out and picked one up on amazon for 100 bucks with prime shipping, doubt i would have gotten one otherwise.

This with a god hopper and a proton pack bolted to one of the god hopper doors would be an absolute beast in terms of ammo capacity
Hey in the southern northeast, aka New Jersey the weather in the summer is unpredictable, bright and sunny in the morning then a thick fog rolls in and it’s raining 10 minutes later, and the winter (aka fall because it is the same)is more consistent. It’s warm for a bit then overnight it gets stupid cold, overcast with a side of rain or snow where you are.

Would you be willing to sell the feet things for the prometheus to me? I’m planning on making a 3d printed mounting system with it, so you can put swarm fires, rapidstrikes, etc on it by drilling a couple holes, snapping it in, and your done. If not though that’s fine.
I think the hades and Prometheus should swap names cuz this blaster is just a steady stream of death

For a 200 bucks blaster youd think theyd rectify the biggest flaw in the Nemsi, failure to feed in the Promo but still there.
18 been a Good year for Nerf, nice to see them upping the game.
Promo is much wub wub despite the hopper feed issue, but 200 bucks thats going to hurt the wallet.

Again I’m slowly becoming sure the nerf community figures are secretly murderers, whenever hawki wants to show how solid something is he defaults to “you could really beat someone in the head with this” now OOD is like “oh I could put a couple bodies in this box” .........
Would it be possible to rewire the rev and fire so they are reversed positions? (Rev on fire and fire on rev)
It should be you would probably just need to swap wires and remove the mechanical lock keeping the fire trigger from being used unless the rev trigger is depressed.
