Everyone is talking about how romantic and interesting this drama is, but am I the only one that noticed the creative way this drama started and ended? It was not the usual way other dramas started and ended. They started in the middle of the story and ended in the middle of the story. and from my POV, when he was asked if time could freeze the first time they met, if you notice, the event they portrayed was different from what really happened when they actually met. He was cold and emotionless back then, but when he remembers now, he looks at it from the emotion he feels now. He is happy, at peace and loved, so he is imagining another first meet in which he is a happy person and everyone is happy to be associated with him. That is the power Zhu Yun had in his life. Her presence in his life was what he needed to be free and open his heart again, and she was the one that he needed to pick him up.

Today this episode was the last of the L&P but it was worth watching for me, I could finish it after 5 days I didn't want this drama to end because this drama is so good, their chemistry and both of them have so much trust and love for each other I don't know why this drama has got so few views, I would say that you will be satisfied after watching this drama I would like in the future to have a break from my life routine and be able to watch this drama again Because the character of Zhu yun inspires me a lot to be a partner like her and li xun is really good actor i wish both lead actors get continued success "Lighter and Princess" what a drama❤️
This show is worth all the hype. Everything from plot, music,romance of leads, chemistry, revenge, supporting characters is on point. Someone better cast Li Xun and Xhu Yun in another show. Such raw chemistry should not be wasted.
The end. I laugh, i cried, i blushed.. Li xun and Zhu yun are my most favourite leads among the hundred dramas i've watched. They are incomparable. Chen feiyu will always stay in my heart.
July 2024: just finished this drama for the first time. ❤ loved it so much that now when it's ended i feel bittersweet. This drama teaches you so many things about life. A great watch for sure.

Some ppl complained about li xun rude behaviour but he treated poorly by evryone esp fl mom.the way mom said u should have happy family with no mistakes to marry the girl is so rude when he lost his whole family. He e learned to be arrogant to survive in this world & continued that behaviour in college bcz he want to make money.I don’t like this type of ppl & keep my distance from them & I won’t expect him to change his rude behaviour for me . gao has chance to stay away from him but he choosed to stay him bcz he needs li xun to succeed & complained that he is rude when he already knows that he is always rude.

I loved this statement. It was a polite stinging shake of the head about her wanting to control Yun and stunting her potential with that control. You never know what a child is capable of until you let them try.
Her mother is stifling her daughter with an impossible condition, but I think she will only be angry for a while then realize the impact of Li Xun's statement. (SIDE NOTE: the mom is the same actress who played the role of Marchioness Chengyang, General Ling Buyi's "stepmom" in Love Like the Galaxy)

Arthur Chen (Chen FeiYu) is a phenomenal actor. His natural acting with micro expressions speaks volumes. Huge example is in episode 35 where he confessed his feelings and looking at ZhuYun with those hopeful eyes then the pause and little change in his expression when he’s not sure what her answer would be…Wow! Zhang JingYi is a wonderful actress and has very expressive eyes as well. I’ve watched this drama on repeat and I’ve spent a lot of time and they’re not wasted at all.
A relationship that was tested with high and lows, heartaches, sadness, hurtfulness, but deep down they both cared, supported and loved each other. No matter the facade, the cold drifts, the pushing away and bravado, they were meant to be not because fate brought them together. They made it and i was happy to see them put aside all the misunderstandings, insecurities, and fears. Li Xun with a brilliant mind, and Zhu Yun with the kindest heart. A king and a queen. Beautiful drama where each character portrayed their role so well. Li Xun's leadership, strategy, vision to life was definitely not everyone's cup of tea. This actor embodied the protagonist so well and the chemistry with Zhu Yun was excellent. The cast overall did a good job. The mother's attitude towards her daughter was more the representations of the CCP rather than a loving mom. Li Xun's nailed it in the end when he said "your daughter can change the world but you only want her to listen to you" .

Love the tight-nick co-workers, supportive of each other. Glad Gao’s wife stayed with him and off to a new start. Great movie.

This has become my favorite drama I’ve ever seen, it was really made so well, it really made me feel all the emotions that it reflected and I love how the show was developed and overall performed, it was so heart felt and Chen Fei Yu and Zhang Jing Yi had amazing chemistry both in the drama and behind the scenes and they did a really good job of acting throughout the drama and I just love it, bless them, I’m glad the show has become as popular and known as it is

Its my number 1. - It was perfect in every way possible. the chemistry between the leads is off the charts. the ost. the way the story was told, the layout everything was just perfect. - The most realistic couple. - The banter between them. How he shows he loves her in his own way (our man is bad with words) - The eye contact caused me to faint multiple times (the way he looks at her with those loving eyes) - Zhu Yun really changed our cold Li Xun to a warm hearted person. - It never once crossed her mind to leave him. - They dont even have to say they love each other they just know they do - She calms him and he gives her confidence. the best couple - Now that its over i feel so empty.
This series has my heart . The emotions are so true . Her smile when she looks at him and the way he tries to hide his smile when she looks at him is so pure .

As a writer, I think this movie is really very very amazing. The writer did a very great job and the cast and crew delivered well. I love the storyline. The first day I started watching it it was because i couldn't found anything to watch so when I saw Lighter And Princess I just told myself let me just watch better than being bored , now its my best drama and I even regret not watching it before. The best about this drama it's not all about love which make it 100% better than any other drama I have ever watched . and the way every actor just act their role very good i hope to see any of them acting together again 💜
Lighter and Princess is one of the best cdrama I've ever watched. There are usually very rare to none chances for a Cdrama to get you emotionally invested so much. I was crying for straight up 3-4 middle episodes. Their love story is heart fluttering and also plot is written amazingly. 10/10 for me as I didn't get bored for a second 👍👍

One of the best dramas I've watched. Everything was perfect, the plot, the love story, the pacing, even the music. The main actors are both so young and yet their acting and chemistry were superb. I'll definitely look forward to see them in their next projects. The lead characters were great, especially the female lead. Li Xun was a very interesting male lead as he turned out to be so much more than just a typical "cool and perfect guy", but Zhu Yun was such a strong, supportive, smart and affectionate girl. Her character grew so much throughout this drama to the point where she didn't need to rely on anyone and could outsmart the bad guys on her own. I loved to see it and enjoyed so much watching these two together. I'm going to miss this drama.

The character of ZY is so so pure and kind and lovely. Even after loving and staying loyal with LX she had to go through trauma... it wasn't her fault at all yet she suffered. But she never held any grudges against anybody. Such a SOUL ANGEL❤ She deserved all the love of the world. Her purity and kindness is paid off in the end with the recognition and love she received from LX. She is indeed inspiring me to be ME.. pure,kind and loving. LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤❤❤

Some ppl complained about li xun rude behaviour but he treated poorly by evryone esp fl mom.the way mom said u should have happy family with no mistakes to marry the girl is so rude when he lost his whole family.
He e learned to be arrogant to survive in this world & continued that behaviour in college bcz he want to make money.I don’t like this type of ppl & keep my distance from them & I won’t expect him to change his rude behaviour for me . gao has chance to stay away from him but he choosed to stay him bcz he needs li xun to succeed & complained that he is rude when he already knows that he is always rude.

Arthur Chen (Chen FeiYu) is a phenomenal actor. His natural acting with micro expressions speaks volumes. Huge example is in episode 35 where he confessed his feelings and looking at ZhuYun with those hopeful eyes then the pause and little change in his expression when he’s not sure what her answer would be…Wow!
Zhang JingYi is a wonderful actress and has very expressive eyes as well.
I’ve watched this drama on repeat and I’ve spent a lot of time and they’re not wasted at all.
Now I'll rewatch it after exams to focus on his micro expressions

They made it and i was happy to see them put aside all the misunderstandings, insecurities, and fears. Li Xun with a brilliant mind, and Zhu Yun with the kindest heart. A king and a queen. Beautiful drama where each character portrayed their role so well. Li Xun's leadership, strategy, vision to life was definitely not everyone's cup of tea. This actor embodied the protagonist so well and the chemistry with Zhu Yun was excellent. The cast overall did a good job. The mother's attitude towards her daughter was more the representations of the CCP rather than a loving mom. Li Xun's nailed it in the end when he said "your daughter can change the world but you only want her to listen to you" .

This has become my favorite drama I’ve ever seen, it was really made so well, it really made me feel all the emotions that it reflected and I love how the show was developed and overall performed, it was so heart felt and Chen Fei Yu and Zhang Jing Yi had amazing chemistry both in the drama and behind the scenes and they did a really good job of acting throughout the drama and I just love it, bless them, I’m glad the show has become as popular and known as it is

Lighter and Princess is one of the best cdrama I've ever watched. There are usually very rare to none chances for a Cdrama to get you emotionally invested so much. I was crying for straight up 3-4 middle episodes. Their love story is heart fluttering and also plot is written amazingly. 10/10 for me as I didn't get bored for a second 👍👍

One of the best dramas I've watched. Everything was perfect, the plot, the love story, the pacing, even the music.
The main actors are both so young and yet their acting and chemistry were superb. I'll definitely look forward to see them in their next projects. The lead characters were great, especially the female lead. Li Xun was a very interesting male lead as he turned out to be so much more than just a typical "cool and perfect guy", but Zhu Yun was such a strong, supportive, smart and affectionate girl. Her character grew so much throughout this drama to the point where she didn't need to rely on anyone and could outsmart the bad guys on her own. I loved to see it and enjoyed so much watching these two together. I'm going to miss this drama.

I'm a mad cdramaholic and I regret for gatekeeping lighter and princess for over a year. I loved it. Every FUCKING bit of it. It was just so good. The cast, their acting.
