I think better understanding of the air raid will help fans understand whats happening in the "growing pains" phase of our transition. A normal fan might expect different plays to be called, when the "air raid" response to failure is to run the same plays the "right" way....coach up the concepts rather than scrapping a play. I foresee looooots of complains related to play calling when that's not how the air raid succeeds or fails.
You do these analytics like they should all be done. Very educational and absent the individual player glory praise. No names, just positional acknowledgement.
I coached every position, except dee bees...Thank You Lord....Back in the day..., everything was 5 spoke radiation zone, and the three deep just did not let any body behind them. This guy is really interesting to defend.
Hey y’all. A great way you can help matt out is by not skipping the ads! This lets him get more Ad revenue, AKA money. Which means he can bring us more great content like this!
Good breakdown Matt. I haven’t watched an episode since one of your Bama break downs. However since I’m also a fan of Mike Leach, I’ll bet I get to see more of your work.
As soon as Leach was hired I watched some air raid offense videos...mostly whiteboard x and I type stuff...was like man....i can't wait for Matt Wyatt to do some of these. Nice!
Great series. Love the way you chalk these plays. So, does the Pac-10 only play nickle or do we see so much of it in these videos because WSU passes so much?
Matt I never advocate a man losing his livelihood nor inconveniencing a man or wishing hardship upon his family But I didn't see Moorhead be working out And I'm elated for Leach's hire I hope he works out for the players and program I mean Just look at what Ed Orgeron just did for LSU And to think That could've been ole Miss beating us to a national championship 😂 Whew we really dodged one there
curious to see some more versus man to man and some elite DE's to see what happens on pass rush. maybe with tech against texas years ago or better defensive teams. just curious to see what they do to adapt.
Pretty much the only weakness of the air raid is a great pass rush otherwise it makes coverage choose wrong a lot. Which is why no matter where leach goes his QBs do damage in the passing game and put points up. Bcuz the air raid will score if u dont have a great pass rush.
KT has had a whole season to work on his passing plus Schrader can pass it well, he was a freshman so I don't blame him for dropped passes and some overthrows, he couldn't stay consistent being swapped out every other game with Stevens
Let's see. My gut feel is that we will still have a defense bc we normally do and put more defensive players in the NFL than offensive players. Hopefully this time next year I can say that you are wrong. but no sense arguing that point now. LOL.
You guys are insane not to see this mans genius. He needs more time to put together a d. At tech he was straight up NASTY in 2008. He recruits line/qb/recievers/rbs Then tes, fb, etc. Then he works on d. Its easier to win if you can just SHOVE it upfield all the time, than stopping em on d every time and goin 3-out. It makes sense. You just dont see it.

Best made and most satisfying football videos on the Internet!!
Big fan from England!
I guess MSU is my new SEC team now

This is good to watch again going into season 2 of Mike Leach at Hail State football.
Been waiting on this 💯💯

DakLights - Dak Prescott Highlights yes, all $0.02 for every three thousand views.
Matt makes his income from thesevideos by his sponsors of the video, you lack some common sense, must have gone to southern miss.
Andrew Kirwan youre a kind one
Thanks, Matt. Good stuff. I have been looking forward to your film study on our beloved Pirate!
What a great show. Terrific work.
Damn I am loving the air raid more n more
Good stuff! Thanks for doing this!

dude... nice video... hangin on the hash lol, man to man from in front
3:27 What kind of blocking is that where all the OL hit the deck? That's cool
Great series. Love the way you chalk these plays. So, does the Pac-10 only play nickle or do we see so much of it in these videos because WSU passes so much?
Well when you have 3-4 schools that play air-raid concepts you will see alot of nickle def.

@@jeremyx3758 it's been 60 years since they won their 2 Natties.

also would like to see when they press man coverage with the guys up on the line.
It's going to be interesting to see what Coach Leach can do w/SEC talent instead of pac 12 cast offs or wac players
I hope to see our TEs used as jumbo receivers. They could add a whole other dimension to the Air Raid.
Why are the cardinals offense sputtering? It seems kliff's air raid is not working
Why don't you tell them all the weaknesses from running the Air Raid offense?
lilchi721 as a Coug fan it really sucks against zone defense because leach doesn’t run the ball at the right time

educational, like Kurt Warner's channel
What MSU QB is gonna make this work. You need accuracy right?

If not one in the stable, the next one.

Thank God leach is gone from wSu.... enjoy 5000 passing yards and no defense. Oh and you will lose the egg bowl everyear too.
