I’m 28 and learned that I had amblyopia in my left when I was doing my hair and a piece fell over my good eye and I realized my left eye was not seeing! So I went to a specialist... they say said i had amblyopia... I mentioned my eyes are not crossed but the eye doc said it’s not that.. anywho I was told protect my good eye because my amblyopic eye is done... why do they say this if vision therapy works???

I have heard that after the age of 12 or an adult are not able to correct there lazy eye..it is possible only after an eye surgery but it is not 100% . Rarely the surgery helps....Is it right or it is a rumour? I hope you will reply.
