I feel Tina’s pain. Daddy issues are real. That is when I have a child, I would make sure my child has a father that cares and truly be there for them.
I had Daddy issues my entire life growing up and all the way to my adult hood.
I have mom and Dad issues as well

There's nothing more destructive to a family than favoritism. This can lead to serious issues with the family; things like jealousy and resentment not only to the favored sibling, but hatred toward the parents responsible. This behavior can cause the one or ones that are hurt by this to look for affection from another person. And if that doesn't work, the hurt person will take an even more dangerous path that can lead to drug abuse sexual abuse, or even suicide. When it comes to family survival; favoritism must be avoided at all costs.
Always let love lead the way before something terrible can happen.
I'll add that saying that one of your kids is your meal ticket to success isn't right either.

@@dagameplayer Having favourites is never right. My dad doesn't favour me over my brother, he said I'm more of his son cause my brother's not his son or my brother in practice and he truly isn't. I Haven't even heard from my brother in 4 years, doesn't mean me and my dad love him less, just means my oldest cousin's more my family cause he's had more real contact with me. Pointing out facts doesn't mean you have a favourite, that's just acknowledging.

I understand that this scenario is not part of this plot but here are some of the attitudes of dads that do not treat their children equally
Dad: prohibits his son/daughter from having friends or even talking to other people without his approval
Also the dad: does not give the equal treatment to the child
It’s sad because some kids go through something like this, to be honest, when I see something like this, it makes me feel glad that my father don’t show any favoritism…he loves me, my brothers and my sisters equally

Daughter leaves,5 seconds she's at a friend's place, 5 seconds later she's at a hotel. She confesses she meets random guys there,but 1 guy takes advantage of her 5 seconds later? Dad's a jerk,wife has to tell him to be a Father. He doesn't take the initiative to go and look for his daughter? Son steps out of the room to the police,3 seconds later,their on their way? Does he have 911 in speed dial?

I feel the same thing, I had an argument with my Dad. We have a big fight about me being a shame person for failing this stupid Naplan thing and never doing that IXL English. I shouted at Dad and file a complainant about it and Dad threatened me. After that, I ran to school crying and sent bad messages to Dad and wanted him to get out and I didn’t want to have brothers and Dad. He was the one who was shameless for hurting his own daughter.

This made me cry. I feel that girl. Eventhough my parents care about me there have been times where I had the feeling that they love my brothers more than me. Since I also had lots of fights because of the way my parents treated me and we haven‘t talked for weeks I know how it feels like to be missing a parent. They just never understand me. Whenever I try telling them something about the way I‘m feeling they‘re complaining and whenever I have a fight with my brother they mostly take his side and say I‘m talking to much. It hurts but I still love them.
