I honestly think Andertons lead the way globally in terms of guitar content on RUclips now. So many good players, good kit and professional production makes for TV quality programming. Keep up the good work fellas.
Captain, time to stop with the modesty. Hanging out with players of the caliber of Pete has done you a power of good. Whereas you once got a pass because you're the boss, your playing is now as much of a highlight as any of your minions. You have taste and feel.
I think his modesty is part of his charm as a player. He doesn't overstretch past his abilities, doesn't try to show off as much. And I find the slower playing makes it easier to actually hear what the gear sounds like. I know this sounds like a back-handed compliment but I like his playing.
Yep, loved Lee's playing on this. I think the more I watch, he seems to get a bit nervous at first but the more he plays & cuts loose, the better he gets.
I just can't get enough of Pete's playing... not just some licks, but real playing with great taste! And I love the alchemy with the Captain, it always makes the video even better!
I can no longer keep track of the amount of series, models, and editions Fender has put out in the last five years, but at least there's a lot more guitars out in the world.
May sound weird, but I would rather buy a gitar that Pete are playing. Because, man his playing makes a gitar sound so good. His playing inspires me to buy that gitar and ply it lite that. Make sense? Same with Bea and his toska-stunf
The Captain is a very good guitarist and with a lot of practice and hard work it's possible to be as good as him. Pete on the other hand is on another level which few people get near let alone approach in a lifetime.
I got the pro strat 2 years ago, 3 color burst with maple fretboard. Love it! So, after playing/buying/trading multiple telecasters, I finally bought the pro tele yesterday, same finish... So they're like brothers. Love these guitars. Best guitars I've ever owned!
The most thorough of reviews come from Andertons, in my opinion. Looking forward to next year when I can buy one of these new Fenders on Craigslist for half the price.
Lee has improved so much in his playing, sometimes if I'm just listening I'll think it's someone else playing, then I'll look up and I will see Lee playing. I think he could easily trade licks with the old dogs like B.B. and Albert.
Lovely playing from the Captain in that intro jam. I put the video on in the background, and when I switched back to see who that was who was playing such tasteful lead, the camera was zoomed in on the guitar. I waited for a wide shot, thinking maybe it was another Ariel video, as it didn't sound like Pete - but sure enough, it was just Captain Lee, killing it yet again :D
Damn Cap!! Really impressed with the sound of these guitars, but I gotta say it definitely deserves to be said that most of the credit goes to the players. Honestly, it reminded me a lot of the tones that both Eric Clapton and Joe Bonamassa got at the Royal Albert Hall. Immense playing gentlemen!
Awesome Pete, just awesome :) and The Captain, like the style of this video jam sess!! .... love the PH's comment "you can do that, or you can do this" ..... I wish ! ...
Oh dear god, this video will cost me :D The tones, the sweet Fender tones! Captain and Pete, you've done it again :) Great playing from the pair of you, fantastic demo.
Captain Lee is such a great player! He always seems to get discounted when he plays with Chapman... but I've always believed that he's the better player!
1. The Cap'n's tone and feel should never be questioned. too good. 2. More videos like this please, just doing tones and jamming. Us old farts love playing along. And don't be stingy about who plays: Bea, Paul, Mick, Rob, whoever. Just great. 3 Cap'n, that's a nice siena sunburst strat. Wait, it looks just like the Cap10. Is Fender gonna give you a signature model???
+Andertons Music Co thanks for the review! Im a little confused about getting the HSS or the SSS,having already a PRS.Does the HSS 'breaks' the Strat originality? I see a lot of people loving those pickups, but also saying that the original one is the SSS.I can only try the SSS, not a single store near me has the HSS.. thank you!
I tried 3 Fender Stratocasters in store. A Vintera 50’s and Original 50’s both had the top E string much too close to the edge of the fret board. All three of them were a devil to get in tune and after only light playing including small string bends they all went out of tune quickly and a retune was necessary, repeat several times to allow for string stretching but this wasn’t the issue. The problem is inherent in Stratocasters. I find it frustrating that I can’t go into a store pick up a Stratocaster and it’s going to play well and stay in tune without having to take it home screw down the trem , file the nut and lubricate it, lubricate the string tree, fit locking tuners, adjust the action, take 4 screws out of the bridge to make it more stable, oh no wait the six screws in the Vintera and Original are very stable according to reviewers so maybe the Pro needs four after 60 years of development, what a foul up, you can spend more time fighting with these great looking guitars than playing if you’re not careful. I’ve had Strats before including a deluxe and an anniversary model and they all had tuning issues and the anniversary had the same string too close to the edge problem. I had a new graphite nut installed on recommendation but it didn’t fix the problem. Buyer beware!
you guys havnt done the american proffessional tele deluxe....its new and there are hardly videos anywhere of it. i would love to see someone put up a demo of it.hint hint
Looking at getting one of these Strats...any opinion on which pick-up configurations would be best or most versatile? I know it's subjective, but I'm just having a super hard time deciding!
xMasterxRazorx Rabea in a purely technical and shreddy aspect is the best of the crew. Pete is the most feely of the bunch. Instead of reaching for as many notes as possible, he tries to put real feel and emotion into his playing. Pete's playing can seduce and hypnotize a woman. Rabea's playing can impress the metal heads at his local guitar store.
Doctor Infallible actually I really feel like Rabea has a lot of feel in his playing too. The reason I like him so much is because he's NOT just another shredder.
Took me three years but I finally got my hands on an American Pro strat and I can't pick up anything else. I love my Tele but it feels like wrestling a brick compared to my Strat. Maybe I need to get my hands on an American Pro Tele now...
I vote Pete's name be permanently changed to "Tasty Danish Pete". It's self-evident. As for the 2017 Fenders, I am not up on my Fender history, but an HH Strat? When have we ever seen that from Fender, except for maybe the late 80's/early 90's Heavy Metal Strats? I am shopping for a "super strat" and am 99% decided on Suhr HSS. Now I gotta check the HSS from Fender here....dammmmmit

Angus Young to be honest. listening to the captain is much more inspiring and enjoyable imho
Matt Keenan you are very kind!
Yep, loved Lee's playing on this. I think the more I watch, he seems to get a bit nervous at first but the more he plays & cuts loose, the better he gets.
Angus Young yeah if you check out the early videos it's amazing to see how much he's improved he's becoming quite the player
Damn Pete rocks, such a pleasure listening to him play
Thank you Daniel.. Best. P
It seems these are the real deal. Have to applaud them for taking a forward step in an industry that only ever looks back
Wow. Pete's clean playing with the blue strat is sooo nice. And the guitar. wow
Its always a delight to hear Pete play.
El Capitan and Pete with Fender's in hand - can't beat it.
That sounds so wrong...
Yet, so right.
1:50 - 2:00 just pure passion from pete here, I love his playing so much. Absolutely my favourite !!!
I love the way Pete makes any guitar sing!!!
that olive green with black pickguard and rosewood fretboard😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I've always loved watching the Captain and Chappers but damn Pete always manages to blow me away. Fantastic player.
That H-H Strat is stellar, has a great potential for an awesome metal axe
God damn Pete can play, if I could sounds as good as him I'd buy that sunburst HH !
I got the pro strat 2 years ago, 3 color burst with maple fretboard. Love it! So, after playing/buying/trading multiple telecasters, I finally bought the pro tele yesterday, same finish... So they're like brothers. Love these guitars. Best guitars I've ever owned!
On my late night guitar research I found you play wonderfully. Thank you, the happy audience.
pete is such a sublime player man holy shite
"Hi, I'm Danish Pete and I'm going to make you wish you'd NEVER picked up a guitar with my tasty licks and fantastic touch"
Thanks Pete : (
SoulIsTheGoal I was hoping it would inspire. Pick up the guitar, play play play. Every single day... Playing guitar heals your soul. P
Barefoot67 Sorry.... Forget the xanax this morning...
Barefoot67 What does that even mean? ;)
Barefoot67 And if you read that again, its wasn't a question!! There isnt a question mark... As in "I forgot"...
Who is he?
Pete is such a great guitar player!
The most thorough of reviews come from Andertons, in my opinion. Looking forward to next year when I can buy one of these new Fenders on Craigslist for half the price.

The tone on that first Tele though. Perfect.
That dimished lick at 12.40! Awesome.
God damn, Pete. Tasty! Great playing all 'round on the end jam guys :)
Just ordered a sienna burst with maple neck SSS. I'm a little excited.
Goddamn Pete is such a tasty player. You did well picking him up from Mesa ;)
Pete never worked for Mesa... We picked him up on on the street.... :)
Yeah he was a homeless guitarists with a dream and lee walked by and heard him play put a coin in his can and offered him a job.
That said, that diminished Pete lick at 12:47 was SWEET.
Fantastic playing Pete and Captain! Watching this makes me so glad I bought a V40 recently, eagerly waiting to get it delivered.
Thanks for the great videos showcasing the Professional series. I'd love to see a side by side comparison of the Professional and Elite series.
Amazing! I love all your videos, please keep up the excellent work. Knowledgeable, comical, and musical, such a great recipe, thank you.
+CaptAnderton Pete is onto somehting. I love to see and hear you play.
Tim Shaw designed pickups, excellent. He's one of the true pickup gurus. These are very
good playing and great sounding guitars.
Awesome Pete, just awesome :) and The Captain, like the style of this video jam sess!! .... love the PH's comment "you can do that, or you can do this" ..... I wish ! ...
Oh dear god, this video will cost me :D The tones, the sweet Fender tones! Captain and Pete, you've done it again :) Great playing from the pair of you, fantastic demo.
watching Pete play reminds me of one of my favorite Nashville Guys: Tom "Bobblehead" Bukovac
I early adopted and got one of these within 24 hours of their launch.
It's my favorite guitar. It feels great, sounds great. Fender knows whats up.
That Tele sounds amazing.
Lee man, You're definitely improving! Just getting better all the time mate :)
I really love the way the strats sound they did a great job on the pickups for this guitar have alot of snap and great tone even the bridge
Great show guys. Life is not complete without a Strat or Tele.
Just ordered my first Fender at andertons. A CS Journeyman Relic Postmodern Stratocaster. Let's see how it will compete against my arsenal of PRS.
More Pete & Capt!...Capt has got the clapton moves which is awesome, pete well he's the rest of the orchestra! 😜....godamn Love the double hummer! 😎
Man that V40 sounds really good. Has a saggy deluxe reverb thing going on. Love that sound.
high-quality content... hands down, hats off...
Just bought one with the shawbuckers. Its a keeper!
Nice playing but I thought you were going to talk about specs? Later videos?
And Lee and Pete together are my favorite.
That humbucker!!!! 😍❤ Damn way better than any Gibson humbucker I've ever heard.
***** Get your shit straight, douche. I ain't Indian.
Was their any point on bashing Gibson?
P Jn That is not bashing Gibson. Bashing Gibson would be calling them scumbags for no reason. This is just a comparison.
Great playing! Guitars sound really good also. Greetings from Finland.
Wow they have so much soul and feeling
does the tele keep the chamfered body like the standard or have they gone back to normal? I really dig the new neck design
Sounds wonderful
Pete is such an excellent guitarist, if I hadn't just bought an new pro strat from andertons, i'd give up the guitar.
Some great finishes on these :-)
That was the best ive ever seen lee play he should buy the tele right away fits him very well
Could you guys go over the new Fender Basses...please and thanks!
Captain Lee is such a great player! He always seems to get discounted when he plays with Chapman... but I've always believed that he's the better player!
Pete is the guy! mad chops man! I like so much that video very dinamic... less talk more music
whatever happened to the Fenders that you could stick a card in the back and change the sounds?
What does Pete do for a living?
What doesn't he do :)
He works in the call centre for a double glazing company.
Part-time door-to-door door salesman.
Whatever he does, I think he's living a good life. :)
Eric Lussiana Was never a rep dude.. ;). Demonstrator yes, rep nope ;).
Beautiful playing and sounding
1. The Cap'n's tone and feel should never be questioned. too good. 2. More videos like this please, just doing tones and jamming. Us old farts love playing along. how andertons never do any offsets yeah I love strats and tele so much but you still have your love for the offset guitar
+Andertons Music Co thanks for the review! Im a little confused about getting the HSS or the SSS,having already a PRS.Does the HSS 'breaks' the Strat originality? I see a lot of people loving those pickups, but also saying that the original one is the SSS.I can only try the SSS, not a single store near me has the HSS.. thank you!
simply amazing
Nice jamming! 👍
Holy shit that HH... never thought I’d be thinking if buying one

very nice demo!
That Strat color, though - filing cabinet grey? Why, Fender, why?
Do you think a HH equipped Strat vs a Les Paul would make a good blind listen video? Or would it be too obvious?
Malcolm Powder It would.
Nice of fellas. Another example of how Fender make the finest guitars ever.
soon and very soon....please do a 2016 fender american elite strat vs. 2017 american professional strat demo and review
Are you going to review the new am pro Jaguar and Jazzmaster? Jags especially need more attention on this channel!
I want that antique olive Strat with the black pick guard! It'll go well with my Trampas Green PRS SE and my Georgia Green Gretsch. :)
Holy fuck. That HH Strat sounds incredible.
Hang on have they finally fixed it so you don't have to worry about losing that little spring that sits in the arm cavity??! only took them forever!
WOW! Pete is amazing at guitar!
Some good improvements over the "American Standard", but still no locking tuners or contoured neck on a guitar line called "Professional".
you guys havnt done the american proffessional tele deluxe....its new and there are hardly videos anywhere of it. i would love to see someone put up a demo of it.hint hint
Looking at getting one of these Strats...any opinion on which pick-up configurations would be best or most versatile? I know it's subjective, but I'm just having a super hard time deciding!
LOVED the outro guys!
Are they gonna be the same price as the American standard
That Tele sounded great.
Damn, Pete's got skills...
I'm excited about these.
damn, the hss sounds like a wild horse
I want a tele so bad! love the sound of it and i play in a rock band
So American Standard disappears, leaving us with Special -> Professional -> Elite?
Pete>Chappers.
(not saying anything bad about chappers)
Rabea > the rest of the Andertons crew. Though they're all good and all have their own style.
xMasterxRazorx Rabea in a purely technical and shreddy aspect is the best of the crew. Pete is the most feely of the bunch. Danish Pete... what can I say? You are awesome
Are they £399 better than the USA Strat they're replacing ?
I vote Pete's name be permanently changed to "Tasty Danish Pete". It's self-evident.

pete and the captain's guitar playing makes me happy
I saw the olive strat and holy shit it looks great
