    I honestly think Andertons lead the way globally in terms of guitar content on RUclips now. So many good players, good kit and professional production makes for TV quality programming. Keep up the good work fellas.

    Captain, time to stop with the modesty. Hanging out with players of the caliber of Pete has done you a power of good. Whereas you once got a pass because you're the boss, your playing is now as much of a highlight as any of your minions. You have taste and feel.

    • @MattKeenanMusic
      @MattKeenanMusic 7 лет назад +35

      I think his modesty is part of his charm as a player. He doesn't overstretch past his abilities, doesn't try to show off as much. And I find the slower playing makes it easier to actually hear what the gear sounds like. I know this sounds like a back-handed compliment but I like his playing.

      Yep, loved Lee's playing on this. I think the more I watch, he seems to get a bit nervous at first but the more he plays & cuts loose, the better he gets.

    May sound weird, but I would rather buy a gitar that Pete are playing. Because, man his playing makes a gitar sound so good. His playing inspires me to buy that gitar and ply it lite that. Make sense? Same with Bea and his toska-stunf

    Lee has improved so much in his playing, sometimes if I'm just listening I'll think it's someone else playing, then I'll look up and I will see Lee playing. I think he could easily trade licks with the old dogs like B.B. and Albert.

    Lovely playing from the Captain in that intro jam. I put the video on in the background, and when I switched back to see who that was who was playing such tasteful lead, the camera was zoomed in on the guitar. I waited for a wide shot, thinking maybe it was another Ariel video, as it didn't sound like Pete - but sure enough, it was just Captain Lee, killing it yet again :D

    I tried 3 Fender Stratocasters in store. A Vintera 50’s and Original 50’s both had the top E string much too close to the edge of the fret board. All three of them were a devil to get in tune and after only light playing including small string bends they all went out of tune quickly and a retune was necessary, repeat several times to allow for string stretching but this wasn’t the issue. The problem is inherent in Stratocasters. I find it frustrating that I can’t go into a store pick up a Stratocaster and it’s going to play well and stay in tune without having to take it home screw down the trem , file the nut and lubricate it, lubricate the string tree, fit locking tuners, adjust the action, take 4 screws out of the bridge to make it more stable, oh no wait the six screws in the Vintera and Original are very stable according to reviewers so maybe the Pro needs four after 60 years of development, what a foul up, you can spend more time fighting with these great looking guitars than playing if you’re not careful. I’ve had Strats before including a deluxe and an anniversary model and they all had tuning issues and the anniversary had the same string too close to the edge problem. I had a new graphite nut installed on recommendation but it didn’t fix the problem. Buyer beware!

    • @ianlenn5408
      @ianlenn5408 7 лет назад +4

      xMasterxRazorx Rabea in a purely technical and shreddy aspect is the best of the crew. Pete is the most feely of the bunch. Instead of reaching for as many notes as possible, he tries to put real feel and emotion into his playing. Pete's playing can seduce and hypnotize a woman. Rabea's playing can impress the metal heads at his local guitar store.

    • @xMasterxRazorx
      @xMasterxRazorx 7 лет назад +4

      Doctor Infallible actually I really feel like Rabea has a lot of feel in his playing too. The reason I like him so much is because he's NOT just another shredder.
