    Wayne is a true MC for committing to that pattern that whole verse. Can't help but smile through his part. His sense of humor is well known but he has craftsmanship and timing too. ...and Nas is Nas, ...over these 6 albums he really plays with locking into dense patterns and then breaking them, and his voice and intensity elevates it 👑

    Nas first 6 albums:
    1. Illmatic - 1994
    2. It Was Written - 1996
    3. I Am... - 1999
    4. Nastradamus - 1999
    5. Stillmatic - 2001
    6. God's Son - 2002
    Nas last 6 albums:
    1. King's Disease - 2020
    2. King's Disease II - 2021
    3. Magic - 2021
    4. King's Disease 3 - 2022
    5. Magic 2 - 2023
    6. Magic 3 - 2023
    Long Live Nas 👑🎤🐐♟️🏁💯🔥
    Edit: People are looking at this all wrong. The point I was making was that it took Nas 8 years to make his first 6 albums on a major label vs. now an independent artist, he made his last 6 albums in 3 years. Nas is 17 solo albums deep in 30 years not including collaborations albums.

      @Tweakkkkkk 8 месяцев назад +1

      @BigStarworldheaven not just anything that rhymes but stay in topic and let your rhymes make sense to the listeners. It's actually harder cos then you have to think of words with same rhyme scheme and those words might be limited.
      Give credit where it's dew

    • @BigStarworldheaven
      @BigStarworldheaven 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@Tweakkkkkknothing hard there, trust me bro.. i can rap like that all day. Its easy to rap like that because u don't get to switch flows.
      And no there was no specific topic that he stayed on. He just told many different things using similes... not saying he is wack but it's easy to repeat 😮same flow all song.
      .
      Its harder when you switch it up and then catch- it back again.

    • @Tweakkkkkk
      @Tweakkkkkk 8 месяцев назад

      @@BigStarworldheaven OK I'll like to see you do it since it's easy. You don't know that you might run out of words that actually rhyme to stay in topic and make the rap make sense. Or you just don't want to acknowledge that fact? I can talk about a lot a topic and switch my rhymes if I run out of rhymes but using same rhyme scheme to address a particular topic is actually harder.. You have to dig up words that actually have same rhyme scheme throughout the verse and that's actually harder. Try it and send the link to me let me listen to it since it's easy. Make the verse a 16 bars (about 40 seconds)... I'm waiting.

      Nas and Weezy aren't really about being commercial artists, especially Nas at this point, just making dope ass joints for their love of hip hop and the fans. What is played on the radio doesn't equal good music so often but maybe a hot beat with either catchy or simple lyrics. Many want something they can dance to with a lot of rap sounding almost the same and don't care about real lyricism or MCs trying to spit actual knowledge. There are a very small amount who are played on the radio but are truly dope artists like J. Cole or K. Dot for example!
