Do you guys ever hear a song that you haven't heard in a long time and once you hear it again you get rushed by a ton of memories, little glimpses of your past again?
We take for granted how effortlessly Nas makes conversational rap. The complexity of the rhymes while still being coherent in the narrative he’s creating is what separates him from the rest.
@@anatorres-ym8ke I don’t know one Eminem song that I like. His voice, choice of beats and cadence is irritating. Em don have a song like this in his catalogue.

Ok bro the video is 13 years old, where have you been all this time?
One of the greatest Rap Songs ever made. You came here coz of your great taste in Music. Love from Mumbai.
yo im from mumbai too. rare to see indians listening to NaS lol
India Greece ancient brothers🙏
Wow 4 years ago this song was only at 1,000 views now see it reach a million views is a wonderful feeling. Everything Nas says is still relevant in today's society. Truly a poet.
the beat is chill and spooky , love it !
This song oddly reminds me of Christmas time in New York for some reason
Same, something about the instrumental makes it seem snowy outside
yess i also got winter vibes from this
yeah cuz nyc in 1990s was a cold brutal place
Its probably the bells in the background wich are associated with Christmas songs and Christmas in general
I found bobbys hat
To think this was his demo tape sheesh. Only 18/19 writing these words. The golden child for sure
When People say their are better lyricists than Nas I showed them this song we need to stop comparing krino to Nas
+Joey Macaroni but not greater than Nas people always wanna root for the underdog cause Nas is a much bigger legend and be blessed to have listened
+Joey Macaroni Not close there probably Better freestylers but as a poet or a storyteller or have complex rhyme schemes
***** stop it he put big pun or az and he held his own fuck cannibus
@joey That was in an interview Nas was doing in response to not caring about Jim Jones trying to diss him. Nas was just mentioning a few names that would make him nervous like Pac,Big and even Canibus, and how he would have to go all out if they were going to battle. But, that's something anyone would say about the great MS's that they respect.
Only people that are up there with Nas are Doom, GZA, Common, Rakim and maybe Mos, I consider Nas the goat
2020 begins and I find myself still in deja vu
It's a cycle
Deep
Can u imagine if this song came out today
