Informative video Keith👍 not used pp myself but not had to so wouldn't be that confident. 😮 Having seen the devastation, it has cursed this season in some ponds because people are saying they are not following the information on the packet 😢🐟
Hey Keith, great video. I like how you go into detail about things. I watched the same videos you did about the pp. Sad situations. I saw you in the chat on Ricky’s last Question Time 👍. Oase has a floating skimmer that should clear up that foam on the surface. I found it on Amazon.
Thanks Susan and thanks for commenting 😀 🙂 😊. The salt at 0.3 has created the doc's. Skimmer definitely worth it on any pond, be it in or out in my opinion.
PP ratio for me is 9gm for a 6400lt pond. I wouldn't want to use more. LIke all chemicals it has to be used correctly. Read the instructions..and read them again. If used correctly they can be a boon for the pond/fish.
Hi Keith good to put that video out there buddy you're right about the chemicals pp can be a killer its probably the main contender when it comes to killing our fish more deadly than the worst parasite itself we've all done it and upped the dose i never go beyond 10 grams
I agree, but without it I think more koi would die and the majority of times its used goes without a drama but you won't hear about that! I used to treat with PP twice per year, around about now when demand on bio filter reduces and Spring before the biological filter gets going!
@@KoiKicks yes that is true when used properly it is a great treatment and good for removing waste build up but since I've been using an ozone purifier through a orp controller my water condition has changed so much for the better it's certainly cleared up any ailments on the koi very quickly and the change in them also

Thanks. Remember though we don't see the thousands upon thousands of treatments without any issues at all.
