Top Of The South Cross Country Round 1, Junior 1.5 hour race, Tadmore, Nelson, New Zealand. 2-7-2022

This is Finn on his 5th lap in the Junior 1.5 hour race at the Top Of The South Cross Country run by Jak Events ltd. This was the first round of three run at Tadmore, Nelson, New Zealand on the Anglesey's Farm.
It was the first time Finn and Seb have entered a cross country race. There were 22 riders in the Junior race with Finn and Seb being the smallest and the only ones on 65's. They really enjoyed the crossover between trail riding and racing and are looking forward to round two and three.

Hey there Ben, looked like Finn was having a blast well done, how did Seb get on did he have a good race I hear he had some rear brake issues at the start. Asked your wife if you were going to do the 3hr thought it would be a good opportunity for you to really crack the throttles open, the track was almost the same as the Ando's trail ride. Hi Richard. Finn had a good race. Finished in good spirits with plenty of energy left - I think he could have done 3hrs, he's quite an energetic little bugger! Seb lost his rear brake on the look lap and it took me a bit to fix so he missed the first lap, but had a good ride once he got going. Pip said she talked to you. I got a few laps in chasing the boys round. Maybe round 2 I might do the 3hr. Hope to catch up with you in Harwarden.
