- Trail riding with my sons Finn and Seb at the Ando's Dirtbike Events Tophouse Trail Ride.
Back at Tophouse again for another muddy trail ride. After more recent rain the track was changed from last time to cut out some of the very boggy parts but there was still plenty of mud and it was slipperier than ever.
It was a very cold morning with a hard frost and frozen ground but this melted pretty quickly and turned into a good day. This was lap 3.
Riders this lap:
Ben - KTM 350 XCF
Finn (age 9) - KTM 65 SX Number 117
Seb (age 11) - KTM 65 SX Number 71

Hey mate I believe you helped my son when he was stuck on his CRF150; thanks!
No worries! He was pretty well buried in a rut so I gave him a hand to lift the bike out. I hope he enjoyed the ride!
Good on ya mate
Thanks Steve!
Looks like an amazing trail ride wish I could have came but my bikes in pieces at the moment
Yeah it was heaps of fun. There's another ride same place in about a month and some good ones coming up in Christchurch too so hopefully your bikes going again soon!
@@bentowse yeah I'll try make it to those hopefully it's all rebuilt by then
Hi Ben,it looks like finn is having a bit of trouble, trying to get up the hill.
And did you go to the king of the bowl early this year. And how old is finn, just wondering because I'm 9 years old.
Hi Zac. Yeah it was super slippery in the clay and rocks on that hill. Always steeper than it looks on the GoPro too! We did go to King of the Bowl MX. Finn had his best result ever there coming 1st overall in the 7-8yr 65's. He's 9 now and his brother Seb is 11.
186k views in 4 weeks, jees your channel has become popular haha. Great job getting your kids through the slope mess, does look fun though lol
Hi Liam. It's crazy how much a few of our videos have taken off. Good to see people enjoy watching! This ride was pretty epic in the mud - super slippery. Good for building up the boys riding skills.
@@bentowse yeah I don't know how only a few went viral but others didn't. It's good to get practice in the mud because then other conditions seem easier. How many riders were there?
Yep, mud rides have definitely helped my boys MX racing in slippery conditions. Not as many riders this time being the second ride there in a month but still probably over 200 at a guess.
Buen video
Thanks!
Hi =)
